Really good and dependable Chinese food in the neighborhood. I love their spicy garlic wings cause they remind me of my favorite soy wings from this spot in Bed Stuy, they're almost identical and taste great with white rice. Their regular wings without sauce are also really good. I like getting them on their own because they cut them up for you when you get them with a side and for some reason, they're always way smaller in that case. I prefer to eat most Chinese food with white rice instead of fried rice, because I'm very picky about fried rice. So if you're like me, get the chicken wings on their own and a small side of white rice, because it's cheaper than getting the combo. I've also tried their lo mein, and their mei fun. The Lo mein was just okay for me, I do prefer thinner noodles and theirs are a tad thick for my liking. The house special mei fun however was really good. It comes with every protein except for beef. It'd be fire if they added egg to it. Put some of their chili oil on it if you like spicy and it's *chefs kiss.* The one thing I find a little odd is that the menu they have taped to their ordering counter as well as the stack of menus they have for people to take has prices that they don't abide by. It's cash only in person, no tax. So it's kind of hard to decipher if the lady who takes your order is just overcharging you specifically or if it's simply them not updating their menu. Regardless if it's .50 cents or $5, when you order food and calculate your total.. it's weird when you're told a different price. This is the only Chinese spot within short walking distance for me and their food is actually good so tbh, I deal with it. Great takeout Chinese place! Everything came within 30 min on a Saturday night and was piping hot! On Seamless, if you order over $40, you get free cheese wontons. Everything was very flavorful and the egg roll wasn't too greasy. We got the Orange Chicken, Sesame chicken, beef lo mein (all large orders) and some egg rolls. This local Chinese food spot is pretty good. They're usually quick and have never messed up an order. Tonight I ordered the scallion pancakes, which were really good. I also had the shrimp and broccoli, with egg fried rice, wonton soup, honey wings and spring rolls. The wonton soup wasn't my favorite. It was lacking in flavor but I guess because I'm so use to ordering it from Thai restaurants, I had higher expectations. The honey wings weren't what I expected, but they were good. My son and I love to eat and trying new spots. I had this place bookmarked for a while and finally decided to go out of my way to satisfy my greedy child Chinese cravings. We ordered chicken wings with fried rice and an order of general tso shrimp with fried rice. The chicken wings were good. The rice was bland. The general tso shrimp was bad. I couldn't even eat it. It wasnt fried long enough. The sauce was too thick. It just wasn't good. I rarely eat Chinese food, better yet go out my way for it and I was super disappointed. On top of that it was pricey. Spent about $17 for the 2 and they didn't even give me the free drink that others say they receive once they make a purchase over $12. My son just ate his wings and through the rice away. Horrible. The workers on the phone are super rude. The food tastes like cardboard literally I ordered sesame with rice and it tastes like paper. Plus they are cheap with sauces and when you call back to tell them why they do that because you did tell them to put sauces they argue how they give everyone only 1 hot sauce and 1 duck sauce . I get if i didn't tel them but i told on the phone to put the sauces and they are too cheap. I ordered 3 times before last 2 times the chicken didn't taste that bad but this time it was horrible. TEACH YOUR STAFF TO BE RESPECTFUL I didn't order back with them I was cool headed enough to just say ok and hang up but seriously thats just ridiculous I called back because and smoke with a calm tone to address the problem so next time they will improve but nah they want to argue and deny everything. I dont really post reviews because its bad for the business and I would rather not say anything online because I address it calmly over the phone but this was beyond rude and stupid , the woman on the phone needs to be re educated on how staff should address issues and how to handle problems when the restaurant is at fault. Chinese "take out" with some tables. Large order of fried rice. Rice was yellow but it was tasty. The order was larger than the usual large order of fried rice. Menu selection was a bit wider than the usual neighborhood Chinese menu. Free can of soda with a $12.00 order. No bathroom and cash only. Used to date someone around the corner. Writing this before I even try the food, honestly place is big weird. Came ordered in store and said I'd be back I. 15 min, the lady goes you have to pay. I told her I didn't realize I didn't bring cash and was going to atm. Long story short I came back 15 min later with cash and food wasn't even ready. Told me they wait for costumers to come back before they make the sauce. Followed by my total for the food, like I wasn't going to pay. Just curious if I was to call in the order would she tell me to come in and pay before they start making it? I'll update the review if the food is good, but the service is honestly terrible. General tso chicken was so so, pineapple chicken was plain( basically steamed chicken with pineapple in it) I don't have big hands so you can tell the size of the wings is ridiculously tiny for $5.50 they charge for 4 wings. All I can say NEVER AGAIN. Ended up paying $27 for 3 terrible dishes. From now on sticking to Good taste Chinese on ave h between east 10th and Coney Island. So if you're looking for good Chinese food this is not it. This is your typical fast food Chinese experience. We ordered a lot of food and we're pretty disappointed with everything.
