I was able to pick from favorites such as burritos, bowls, quesadillas and tacos. I decided to order burrito bowl with guacamole, fresh veggies, sour cream and white rice. I was able to pick hips and corn salsa as a side and Harney and Son's Lemonade for beverage. Here's the recap: 1. Burrito bowl was plentiful, delicious and filling with a generous portion of guacamole, veggies and sour cream. 2. Chips were fresh and loved the corn salsa with a kick. 3. Harney and Son's lemonade: not bad not great just bland but the bottle it was gushed in was cool. I've ordered a bunch of times from Wonder from their numerous "restaurants". I will say from the stuff I have ordered in the past it's actually pretty good. I've ordered Tejas Barbecue and their smoked turkey sandwich is amazing. Streetbird has some tasty and pretty good fried chicken. Royal Greens salad bowls are very good, they're huge and all the ingredients are fresh. Fred's Meat and Bread make some really good burgers, very tasty and filling. Wing Trip makes great wings and if you want to order for huge party they have options for large combos at decent prices. Detroit Brick Pizza has some awesome meatballs with parm/red sauce and garlic bread. What's really cool about ordering from Wonder is that you can mix and match from different restaurants and pretty much makes your own meals which is a great idea. My only complaint I have with Wonder is a "restaurant" named Limesalt. They absolutely suck, the food doesn't taste fresh at all. It tastes like they microwave it. I've order twice from them and it'll be the last time I'll ever get Limesalt. They don't heat up or toast the tortillas when you order burritos, when you get the burrito it's a sloppy/soupy mess that falling apart and what's worse is that the food is not even warm. This has happened to me twice now so I'm pretty much avoiding them like the plague. There's dozens on top of dozens of real Mexican food in the area so when I'm craving it I'll order from one of those instead. Other than that Wonder is pretty good, I wish they had more "restaurants" to offer or at least switch up with a new one every so often or at least monthly instead of the same old thing they're currently offering. I'll continue to order from them because they do have some decent to good food. So hit them up if and when you're in the area or get the app to order, just avoid Limesalt (yuck) read more

We ordered some food from this place a couple of weeks back. I keep going back to this place because I want to try new items and give them a chance. Here's what we ordered: 1) Streebird by Marcus Samuelsson: - Fried chicken sandwich deluxe which comes with 1 side and a drink; I picked the cast iron cornbread and Harbey and sons organic lemonade (for $.50 more). The batter in the chicken tasted burnt and there was hardly any cheese. I paid extra for cheese so I was mad. I complained and they sent me another sandwich whic was so much better then the first one. The lemonade was delicious. The cornbread was a little dry but good with the maple butter. 2) Maydan - chicken shwarma with sauce trio - I ordered this before so I knew it would be good. 3) Magnolia bakery - banana pudding. The pudding was good. Overall, I think they need to get things right the first time. This is the second time where an item in my order was not right and they had to correct it. I've ordered from here before, but it's normally for the Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding, which is absolutely divine. However, this time I tried a couple of different places: Alanza - I ordered the Mushroom and Truffle pizza, Vodka Pizza, and Garlic Parm Cheesesticks. I was not blown away by the pizza at all. It was pretty average. Both pizzas were fresh, however, the Mushroom pizza was kind of dry. It was like bread with mushrooms on it. The Vodka pizza was okay except the Vodka sauce was kinda watery. The flavor was there but the consistency threw it off. The garlic parm Cheesesticks were pretty good and dipping it in the vodka sauce was a plus. The dipping sauce as also watery as well. Overall, I'd rate Alanza a 2.5/5. Burger Baby - I ordered the double cheeseburger and it was very good. The meat was very well seasoned and there was this house sauce on there that was absolutely delicious. The bun was soft and overall, this was a pretty tasty burger. I'd give it a 4/5. I love the concept of Wonder with the variety of restaurant options. Hoping to try more soon! read more

Wonder food halls have been popping up all over the city, and this is one of the newest to open. The concept is bringing dishes from chefs and restaurants around the country into one kitchen, and they have pizza (including from Di Fara), BBQ, Mediterranean, Mexican, poke, and more all in one place. Their app also has detailed allergen and ingredient listings, which I really appreciated for our family members with dietary restrictions and food allergies. I stopped by for lunch and ordered the cavatelli with sausage and mushrooms from the Walnut Lane menu (described as "rustic California cuisine" from Jonathan Waxman). I don't know how well it would hold up for delivery, since I ate it fresh at one of the few tables in their side room, but it was a well-executed and tasty plate of pasta. Staff here were very friendly and helpful with their suggestions. Everything at Wonder seems a bit on the pricey side considering it's mostly a takeout/delivery model (this pasta was $19), but having such a wide range of choices on the menu makes meals very convenient, especially for kids and groups with different tastes. read more

Came here for the grand opening where the first 100 people got a $15 credit to spend. Wonder has been popping up all over the city which is pretty much a food hall but with a combined kitchen in the back. The best thing is that you can download the app and order ahead of time for pickup. This is mainly meant to be for take out but there are a few tables inside. My partner and I ordered the poke and ribs from Tejas. I ordered the poke first but weirdly got it after the ribs. Poke was ok, and as I was ordering they ran out of the tuna which was disappointing but portion size was pretty big. The ribs was the star of the show. It was a huge half rack of ribs for $20 which can definitely feed 2 people if you order a side or two. My partner loved all the sauces that came with it, especially the honey mustard. I've really enjoyed everything that I tried from wonder so far. The standout for me are the salads. The amount of customization and topping variety is great and they are HUGE. And they come with a free pita bread and 2 dressings. The lemon ceasar dressing with parmesan is very tasty. I've also tried Marcus Samuelson's chicken sandwhich which was cooked well, flavorful, and well put together. The fries are just okay and the portion is lacking in that front. Everytime i've gone in to pick up the food it is always ready on time and the service is friendly and quick. It is a nice open layout and very clean, with some seating. I appreciate the wide variety of restaurants in Bay Ridge and do enjoy lots of local spots, however I think wonder does fill a gap if you want to get different cuisines at once. read more

Hubby and I ordered from Wonder for the first time last weekend, as we were both craving some yummy salads. We got an offer in the mail for 40% off our first three orders as long as we spend over $15 (easy enough, right?) so we thought why not? They offer both pick-up and delivery, so it was a no brainer using their Wonder app. Very easy to use; no different than any other food delivery app. We ordered from Royal Greens and Hanu Poke. Both of our salads came out to ~$16 in change after we customized to our own liking. After all the fees, tip, taxes and the discount was applied, it came out to under $30, which was a steal! However, no two salads are created equal, and my two protein poke bowl was the clear winner. I was a little annoyed that Hanu Poke was advertising their spicy salmon salad to only find out that it was sold out. Umm, weird but okay I guess. So, I got a tuna and shrimp poke bowl, and it was very fresh and looked beautiful, honestly. Crunchy shredded carrots and the poke house sauce popped! Hubby was a little perplexed by his "Greek" salad from Royal Greens because it didn't seem like a traditional Greek salad to him at all. Portions were great, but he was down to try another option next time. I scheduled our order and it came right on time! Great packaging that was sustainable and practical. I assumed correctly when I was thinking, how can so many venders be in once small space and serve good food. The food was gross. Burger meat tasted like school cafeteria quality. The Poké bowl was blah. The Mexican spot left me craving for chipotle instead. The only thing that was decent where the chicken nugget and fries but that's just junk food. Saw lots of panning of this place on the local Facebook feed and comments about how it is all microwaved frozen food which I think is bogus after trying them out. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak combo on Cuban bread minus the garlic aioli with fries from Fred's Meat and Bread, and an order of onion rings from Detroit Brick Pizza. The order arrived in about 28 minutes in a nicely sealed, quality shopping bag. The fries were packed in a cardboard container as were the onion rings and both were both hot and crunchy and not greasy. These were not microwaved. Whatever cooking method they use on the premises, it works for fried items. At first glance, the sandwich did not look very large, but was packed with meat and cheese. The ratio of cheese to meat was perfect and both were plentiful. The bread was soft and fresh and broke away with each bite unlike microwaved bread that becomes rubbery and weird. Again, whatever system they have for doing the last mile cooking of these items works. I realized when halfway through the first half of the sandwich that I'd be keeping the other half for lunch tomorrow because it was quite filling. I had a little less than half of the fries left and 3/4 of the onion rings so this meal will last me for 2 days. The cost is very varied across the restaurants. At $2 per can, the soda was a bit expensive and we passed on getting cupcakes or dessert because they were overpriced. Kids meals seemed quite high for what little you get. I'll definitely order again at some point in addition to supporting local restaurants as I always have but this place will be great when you have a bunch of friends over and everyone wants something different. Update: March 2025 I ordered the philly cheesesteak and fries combo again along with a Detroit classic red top pizza. The philly and fries were fantastic again. The pizza was delicious but I think it is way overpriced. Four very small squares for $15. I am not a person that eats large portions, but I could have easily polished off all four pieces. That might sound crazy, but this pizza is nearly all fluffy bread. The layer of cheese is quite thin and there is not a lot of sauce. The ratio makes for an excellent "light" piece of pizza, but it was not filling in the last. Would love to order it again but would only do so if I had a coupon. read more

Ordered a custom salad with double chicken; double dressing (on the side) and veggies Salad looked nothing like pictures on site; chicken meat was not grilled - more like rotisserie but sad looking and definitely not double as i payed for; & barely had the additional toppings that i asked for & they barely give you dressing to top the salad with... good on Grubhub for refunding me Save your sanity and stay away Waste of time and money Will not be ordering from this place again read more

The restaurant's layout makes conversation easy while dining. The small sampling we had met basic expectations. He displayed an excellent outlook and made our initial visit to the Restaurant completely enjoyable. They provide value through ample food at good prices. This review is only about Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman but I can tell you I recommend it. My wife and I really like the Kale Salad, it is tasty with Parmesan cheese and good dressing. We added the Brussel Sprouts with Bacon which we liked very much. The Sprouts were roasted which give them a nice taste and we like the sweetness of balsamic in general so having such a vinaigrette made it a dish we want to have again. We had those two things on a couple of occasions with only pasta dish being different. Today we tried the vegetable bolognese. Pasta is good, not too Al dente and the sauce was so good, it has a bit of the red wine flavor which mixed with the tomato and veggies was delicious. We tried the shrimp and hazelnut pesto last time. If you like a good pesto this one is quite good. Overall verdict is very good though my wife prefers the pesto and I prefer the bolognese read more
