If I could rate zero I would. kanda kropp is HIGHLY unprofessional in the way she spoke to me as a customer, it was very condecending and when I told her not talk to me like that, she laughed on the phone. She offered no information just repetitive "beat around the bush answers". she gave me no help or piece of mind as to submitting payments, policy rates or increases that were happening to my policy. It's beyond belief from my experience with Kanda Kropp from my experience with her how she manages to hang on to her insurance license. I wouldn't recomend her at all. She has never made any attempt to get my claim paid. I went through the automatic car wash near her office. It scratched up my entire car causing serious damage to my Audi TT. At first I was told we'll pay with $100 deductible. Later, the story from her and State Farm changed alleging somehow my parked car that had the ignition off was in a "collision"? I fail to see how a collision can occur in a parked vehichle. Even still they never went after the Shell Station and screwed me. I paid for my car repair damage and left State Farm and Kanda Kropp immediately. I'm still collecting the documentation to deal with this neverending nighmare to sue the Shell Station, Kanda Kropp and State Farm so I can file a proper complaint with the insurance commission. It wouldn't surprise me to hear I'm not the first! I rated her on YELP as well. Suggest you check out Yelp.com because she can't have all her employees write up phony reviews as easily on there. Against the advice of others I stuck with this .swindler until I learned she'd be added additional insurance like funeral policies without my consent. When I caught it and had it removed she then added another similar life insurance for when you can't. They're always so nice and helpful, gave me tons of options, answered any questions I had, spent as much time with me as I wanted. Any time I need anything changed, questions on my policy, etc, I can always call and they're more than happy to cheerfully help me out. *I just read the previous review. Kandra is a local agent. She isn't in charge of paying out claims, etc, so why go after her specifically? Doesn't seem fair. It doesn't sound like you were treated fairly, but there are always 2 sides to the story. Horrible customer service. Do not return calls. Received a quote for renter's insurance. Purchased the policy and paid for the full amount quoted up front. Received a bill 3 months later. When I called to inquire about it, I was told I was mistakenly given a discount and I was now being charged the discount amount. Would not waive the fee. It was "out of their control". I should not have to pay for their mistake. I would have chosen a different quote. Will never use them again! read more

I was with this agency for many years and left 4 years ago. I attempted to get a new quote last week. Jennifer said Leslie would help in an email in which she was clearly copied. I didn't hear back from Leslie at all, and responded to the chain SEVEN days later. I spend about $10k annually on home and auto insurance and expect better service. I've been with State Farm for over thirty years and have had five different reps in three different states. I've been with Kanda since 2003 and she is hands down the BEST agent I've ever had. I am always greeted with smiles and they always call me by name when I stop in to the office. It is never anything but the warmest and most cordial atmosphere in there, unlike the cold and sterile places I used to do business with. In the nearly ten years that Kanda has been my agent, I've bought and sold several vehicles as well as rented and purchased our house. We've always been able to get our insurance set up quickly and easily, usually all it's taken has been a phone call or a brief office visit. Unfortunately, we've also had our house broken into and just this year, I've had two vehicles hit (neither of them my fault). I've been extremely happy with how our claims were handled. As mentioned by the other reviewers, all the claims were handled out of her office however once again, all it took was a couple of phone calls to Kanda's office and everything was handled and passed on to claims. When our home was broken into, the burglars kicked in the front door to the house. Kanda actually volunteered her husband (who is in construction) to come over and help repair the door if we were unable to find anyone to come to our home that evening to help secure our home again. Talk about going the extra mile for her customers! Bottom line, I would never think of going to another agent for my insurance needs. I have to echo the last reviewer who said that when I go into the office, I feel as welcome as if I were visiting a good friend's home. I couldn't have said it better myself. I LOVE this office! I've been with Kanda's office for years and they are soooo attentive. We have our business policy and all auto, life, etc. and our premiums are really low. I called USAA to see if they could beat the price and they couldn't come close with the coverage I have. I had my car break down recently and it had to be towed. I didn't even know I had towing on my policy! I contacted them to see if I did and they said yes and gave me all of the information I needed. It was taken care of in no time and saved me some $$. I don't always know what all I need on my policy so it's nice to know that my agent does and takes care of me. Heather is my go to girl in the office and she is always all over whatever I need. I have had car, homeowners, umbrella policy, and transferred a life insurance policy from another state several years ago. Unfortunately a complete waste of time. You choose State Farm because you have a personal agent, along with their support staff. It's supposed to be VIP treatment (seen the commercials?). Well, my experience was heavily lacking in the "Very Important" part of VIP. I called and spoke to Michael (sp?) and mentioned that I had an out of state policy that I needed to transfer over to a new agent. I said I was only interested in transferring over a Renters and Personal Articles policy. She then asked, "how about automobile insurance?" So I had to repeat myself (always listen to the customer). She ended the conversation by telling me she was going to contact my agent, get the necessary information, and call me back. Well, a week goes by and no call. So I call and Michael answers again. I tell her that I've been waiting and she tells me that my previous agent said she needed to collect a payment before transferring. I mentioned that she told me she would give me a call back, but did not follow through. She continued to provide excuses for why, but never once took accountability and simply apologized. It's not a huge issue, but this is my first impression. If I can't expect my agent's office staff to follow through when they say they will, then why bother using State Farm? read more

Even if I haven't talked to them in years, they still make it seem like I just had a conversation with them yesterday. My wifes car had died at a stop sign and I called Kanda for assistance to get it towed. Kanda not only provided me with excellent towing information but she left her office immediately and drove to where my wife was stranded to help her push the car off the road. Luckily another good samaritan had stopped to help my wife and Kanda get it out of the traffic into a parking lot. Kanda then offered to take Mary back to her office or wherever she needed to go. That was going over and above the call of service. Thank You for being there Kanda when we needed you, I hadn't contacted you in quite a while but its nice to know that the same person who sold us our policy is the same person who took care of us when it was needed and did it without being asked, and with a smile on her face. I've had coverage w/ State Farm through Kanda from the day I got my license...14 years later, I can't imagine ever having different insurance coverage. My agent over the last few years has been Heather Steele and she is AMAZING! Anytime I have questions about my coverage, costs, etc--she's always there for me. She always goes above and beyond offering her expertise and knowledge in other areas I have concerns about. I never have to spend any time on the phone waiting for some customer service agent to put me on hold, I can always e-mail Heather directly and she always gets back to me as soon as she can. She is so genuinely nice and smart and I never doubt the quality of coverage I have with State Farm. There are SO many insurance companies out there and so many have lost that personal connection with their members. Their sole focus has become higher membership rather than quality of services offered. I often feel like this office has maintained a small-town charm--knowing and remembering each one of their clients, and at the same time holding their own in the world of insurance. I really could go on and on because I have never had a bad experience while being covered by State Farm through Kanda's office. I'm embarking on a new adventure and looking for a new car--I put it off for a long time because it's such a daunting task, but Heather has already put me at ease and has given me a new confidence before I go out there and head to the dealership! Could not ask for better service! I have had State Farm since the 80's and have been with Kanda since 2005. I moved to the DFW area in 2013 and stayed with Kanda even though we could have transferred our policy to one of dozens of agents up here. Her personal service goes above and beyond. My daughter was in an accident late one night traveling from Texas Tech to Austin to visit friends. We had to have her car towed to Covert Ford in the middle of the night and left for repair which turned into a 3 1/2 week debacle! Without Kanda's personal help our car would still be sitting in Austin, Texas never to be repaired because of a back-ordered Ford part. Covert advised me the part was NOWHERE to be found NATIONWIDE and good luck to me...they actually wanted to put a broken part back on my 2014 Ford Mustang and send my child on her way. Kanda to the rescue, she found the part in Houston, Texas, had me order and pay for it and over night it to Covert, Ford. Who does that? Kanda Kropp does!!!!!!!!!!!!!
