This is pretty much the only gas I buy even for my motorcycles. I have never had a problem with the fuel at this service station in the 12 years I lived in Sanford. The coffee is pretty good but the selection does not compare to the Wawa further down by airport boulevard. The only thing this place is missing is some tables and chairs for you to sit down and take a load off. They most likely nipped that in the bud do too many of the vagrant's hanging out in the area. At times the bathrooms are not in the best of shape but still they are passable for a convenience store. Circle K has a decent selection of snacks, drinks and alcohol-induced beverages available. I am here often because it is convenient, close to home and the prices are reasonable. FYI- if you plan on becoming a regular here, you will most likely run into several of the local vagrants who hang out in the area. They pretty much leave you alone but they may ask you for some spare change.

While fueling up, I looked up RaceTrac and it looks like it was started way back in 1934 by Carl Bolch Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri. It has since expanded to over 550 locations throughout twelve states in the southern United States. I have never had any real issues at a RaceTrac and it is one of the brands that I woukd pick over other brands. All in all, this was an overall positive experience and I would recommend stopping here if you need gas and maybe something from the convenience store (or maybe a bit of both). The interaction came across as unhelpful and discourteous. We completely understand if an item is out of stock or unavailable, but we still expect customer service to be respectful and professional. We wanted to make you aware of the experience because it was disappointing and did not reflect the level of service we would expect. The cashier on the other hand was very helpful and was willing to go look, but unfortunately had a line of customers, and we advise that we appreciated the gesture.
