I stopped by after work to grab a rotisserie chicken and unfortunately they were out for the day. So I grabbed one sweet chili tender and regular tenders from the hot and ready area. Some spinach wraps along with a few other items. I picked up two new non dairy protein yogurt. Fingers crossed that they are decently good. I have not found one non dairy that doesn't bother me. I went to check out and asked staff for a special order item. I ordered something about a month ago. I am not sure why I can never get a call from this store. They had it in the back but not in the system. I was so happy to finally get them. The only dairy nutritional shake worth every dime. The orgain dairy free creamy chocolate. Highly recommend. Publix blew it. Went to by lunch healthy food with my u card from united healthcare and The register denied paying for salad and chicken that is cold . I paid with my debit the u card paid for the chicken salad and grapes. Iafter discussion with united healthcare rep.i chose to get a refund .customer service refused to refund my purchase with my united healthcare card. So I had a half ass lunch. I am a social security person withextrahelp from united healthcare,called a U card. Any way I'll go elsewhere nowadays. read more

My parents' local Publix finds me shopping here often enough. It's a smaller store to be sure but everybody's always very friendly, attentive, and helpful. They're definitely at the top of the Publix game. And someone won a million dollars out of the scratch off machine here; from the same roll of $20 tickets as me!!! Growwwwllllll lol read more

Their sub counter is the worst I have ever seen at any food place, let a lone a Publix. I placed a sub order online and they took OVER HALF AN HOUR to finish my subs PAST the pick-up time. Meanwhile, SEVERAL people where taken care of before me while I waited. I hope corporate finds out about the employees at the sub counter who apparently cherry-pick who's Sub to make first at random. TAKE LESS ONLINE ORDERS OR SHUT THE SUB COUNTER DOWN. This Publix obviously CANNOT handle it. I will be telling everyone I know about this awful store, this is unacceptable. read more

My review is basically for all of the Publix grocery stores from Volusia, Seminole, and Orange counties in FL. Consistent, Fair Prices, and each stores care about the communities that their located at. Especially now with the pandemic, I see Publix management made sure that their employees are on the ball such as helping the elderlies, make sure their prices are controlled, stop preventing people from hording, keeping the store clean specifically with the carts and hand sanitizer available all over the store, and most important, they care about their customers. This evening I came to Publix to get a carvel strawberry ice cream cake for my parents for their anniversary today. I know that Publix has always been able to write things on the carvel cakes. I asked the girl in the bakery if she wouldn't mind just writing Happy Anniversary on the cake for me as my mom is on hospice and isn't well. And I told her it would just be appreciated. She looked at me and told me no because of the type of carvel cake. Stupid if you ask me and don't know where the customer service satisfaction is. I called the Publix on other Publix near by to where I live and the lady in the backers told me to bring the cake in and she would be happy to write anniversary on it for my parents. Even threw in a couple of balloons in on her because her heart was broken when she asked me about my mom. Needless to say this Publix does not have respect from me no longer. Sad I had to go out of my way to another Publix but at least they were kind and caring. You Publix on Doyle Rd , do better!!! Because even the people in your pharmacy can't even keep up with the faxes for prescriptions they receive. Can even tell you how many issues I've had. But that's another story. Some of your team members just need to know what customer service is and actually having a heart. read more

I find publix over priced, the selection isn't the same for every store. When item are on sale they seem to run out quickly. This Doyle Rd. Publix has been a great place to shop for almost 20 years. About a year ago that all changed and now employees seem annoyed when cleaning floors and I need to get something from behind them and distracted by prepackaged food. The bakery is a high point as they always have a kind word or a suggestion, sometimes a cookie. I have spoken to managers several times to no avail. I have changed to Saxon Blvd Publix, just a few miles away, and am very happy. They greet me enthusiastically and even stop stocking shelves to offer assistance. Doyle Rd Publix may need a refresher on the Publix philosophy? We sometimes pay more at Publix for service so expectations are high. I can get better service at WALMART and even save a few bucks! My Publix is the calm in the storm. With all the hustling around with an oncoming Hurricane, this is one of the most organized stores I know. This is the worst Publix. The pharmacy pushed me over the edge and I will definitely not be back to this place. I went in after work to pick up a prescription and the pharmacist said it would be about two hours, no big deal since I live less than a mile away. She told me she would call when it was ready. I never got a call but figured I would just pick it up the next day after work. I go in after work and the prescription is still not ready. The pharmacist told me it would be ready in two hours again. I told them forget it. That is terrible customer service and there is no excuse. I will not be going back to that Publix for anything. read more

I absolutely love this Publix! It helps that it's so close because I visit it practically everyday! The fruit and vegetable selections are the best! I won't buy from anywhere else! Not to mention the specials on salmon are ridiculous! Brandon in the meat department is especially accommodating! He makes sure I have the best cuts of meat and is very friendly! Most all of the cashiers are incredibly pleasant, especially Katrina and Demi! Thanks for making this store my favorite! You guys are great! read more

I love publix but I dont like how the undercover shopper security guy follows me around. I always seen him at the howland location so I quit going there and I switched my publix. I got tired of him following me and profiling me i dont steal. I only shop at publix and target for grocerys. THey are the best. read more
