This was incredible! My family was looking for something to do today and found this place online, so we thought we would give it a try. We've been to places like this that just have a bunch of bounce houses, or places with a large playground, and then of course places like Chuck E. Cheese with games. However Kangaroo Zoo had all of the above. We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they both had a blast. We spent like 4 hours here. There is also a ton of comfortable seating for parents to hang out and watch their kids, which is really cool. Also I almost forgot, parents are FREE! Haven't been to any place like that. I hadn't been to this place in awhile, but believe me I was glad I went back! This location is under new management, and oh my goodness it shows! It's so much cleaner than it used to be. The new owner really keeps on top of it, which I appreciate since we all run around in socks, and inevitably my children end up rolling all over the floor. The young lady running the front was so sweet and professional. She was so nice to work with, much nicer than the staff before. I felt she really cared about our experience. You don't find that with most young adults these days! Definitely worth going again if you've been disappointed before. You'll be happily surprised! read more

I bring my grandchildren here all the time . They can play all day day for a very low price . The pizza is amazing and parent friendly also .We have had all of our birthday parties here in the fun themed party rooms. We live in Layton and it's totally worth the drive. Always clean. Picture this. 4 pm on a Tuesday. Probably 20 little ones running around. There were 3 people behind the desk but no one cared if adults or kids took their shoes off, or wore masks. There were literally children drinking Capri suns while going down the big slides and when the employees were told, they just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. The tables were dirty, the employees who were behind the desk couldn't be bothered to do anything except talk to each other. Not one time during my visit did I see anyone sanitize anything. This place is dirty. I will not be returning until they get some employees who actually care about their patrons. I knew it would be a risk taking my kiddo out- covid and all- but I didn't realize this company wouldn't care at all about any of it. read more

We usually go to the Pleasant Grove locations, so we decided to check out the North Salt Lake location. It was definitely smaller but it still had a lot fun bounce houses and a climbing gym. One of the slides had a bunch of holes and ripped netting. It could be a hazard for kids if they got caught in the netting going down the slide. It also has a few games, but it definitely has less then the other location. The bathrooms were fairly clean. I probably won't be returning to this location again. read more

The entire place is super dirty - especially the bathrooms. Looks like they don't even clean them. They've cleared out half their inflatables since the last time we we came over a year ago. I'm buying a pass for my daughter as soon as we can! She's 4, she loves this place. She can't get enough of it and asks if she can go EVERY day. They have a nice selection of bounce houses and obstacle courses with slides at the end. They have lots of chairs and tables for lounging. They have snacks and drinks for kids and parents wanting a bit of extra letting loose. You can rent a room for birthday parties. I don't know any details on that part, but I'd consider doing something like for my daughter's birthday in the future. One thing I love about this place is they DO NOT charge parents/guardians an entry fee just to supervise. I appreciate that SO much. I wish we would have tried this out sooner so we could have spent the super hot days inside but still let her play. We're ready for winter! Had a great time this morning at Kangaroo Zoo. It was clean and the employees were super accommodating and helpful! Such a great place to escape with your kids for a few hours. They don't charge per hour like some places. You pay to get in the door & you can stay as long as you want. There's no in & out privileges for kids though. It's got a few items only for smaller kids but everything else is mostly all ages up to 150# give or take. As a bigger family we decided to save a few bucks & get the frequent flopper pass. That cuts the cost from $9-10 per person down to $6.40 per person. Adults are always free to go in. You MUST wear socks & there are NO shoes allowed past the first entrance area. Even for parents. There's seating for parents, free WiFi & party rooms too. read more

I would give zero stars if I could, will never come back. This is the second birthday we have held here and both times we were told that it was fine to bring in the cake and cupcakes, the first time the staff even gave us plates. After we had been here for at least an hour with the cupcakes, Riann, the manager came up and told us we could not have them, was very rude and told us that next time it cant happen. Luckily for her I will not be back. The center is too small, and overpriced considering this. Now take into mind, they do offer pizza and drinks but do not offer cake for birthdays and their birthday rooms are ridiculous. I have never been so upset with a childs play center. I will be contacting corporate as I can imagine they would like to know that customers are being lied too and then treated rudely by the manager. Happy birthday to my 4 year old that my in laws drove 5 hours to be here for. I also would like to add that my son has serious issues with loud noises which can cause him to run, the manager again, rather than trying to solve the issues, decided to blow a whistle at my son. This manager needs to be replaced as if she caused my son to run and he got hurt, I would have held the company responsible. Please train your staff and managers especially to work well with children since that is who they are dealing with. Very upset mom here. read more

BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!! We were at Kangaroo Zoo in Ogden today when 2 separate children were endangered and almost suffocated due to the under inflation of the equipment due to large amounts of holes, rips, and threadbare seams. The one child in question became trapped inside the base of the inflatable when part of the obstacle portion inverted on him causing him to sink into the base and he was unable to get himself out. Think of a kid sinking into a below ground pool that has a plastic tarp covering it. What made it worse was the absolute apathy from the manager Kenna. She was more angry that I was upset. She didn't even ask if the child was ok. They could not produce a safety inspection when asked and I was told by the owner, Mike, that they were not required to have one. Please note that BOTH children were using equipment appropriately and were being monitored. This place is a death trap and it will be a matter of time before a dead child is found in one of these tattered inflatables. read more

I've come here in the past so that my kids can run around and get their energy out without any distractions (ie video/arcade games). This place is SO FUN! My boys love it I have a three year old and a 1 1/2 year old and they have a blast and then they are so ready for a nap after. Plus it's pretty cheap! The slides are the best part. The lady who works there- I don't know if she is the manager, bouncer, or what her job title is but she is the best! She seriously makes it her mission to make sure every single child in there is having a good time! If she sees a baby crying she will run to the baby and do all she can to make them happy again. read more

My little guy went Ape Poop here for sure. We went for a birthday party and my little boy took off and was lost in the bouncing buildings for an hour straight before i saw him again. Was very impressed with Brian and Hayden. As a recent handicapped leg amputation and TBI veteran and grandfather to a 4 year old it's hard to chase him around and play with him, these 2 young gentlemen looked after the business while ensuring all younger guests were safe and had fun and played the games card activated with my grandson and others, not playing for then but helping them play. The parents raised to great young men and the owners of Kangaroo Zoo should be impressed with there young employees ability to not only run the establishment by themselves but to give a great customer experience. I love the new additions last year of slides and balls to shoot and toss. Though today my kids were sad the balls were not available to play with because of disinfectant issues related to coronavirus. Places like this and other kid-themed places remind me a lot of public parks in that they're meant to be an attraction for kids, so no surprise that a lot of them are there. Also, like those parks, these are meant for everyone, though much more meaningful to the younger. Still on that theme, as with playground equipment, this has the same risks of getting out of hand with rambunctious kids. Now, obviously, you're paying to go here and probably aren't for public parks, but these places are not daycares nor meant for policing children, aside from the obvious, such as damaging the equipment and so on. Going to one of those places, you're signing in for all of the attendant potential and difficulties along those lines. Obviously, with places like this, kids will tend to have more fun with each other than just solo and places like this are invaluable for exposing them to new people and new experiences (and also, possibly, new germs, another thing to also expect). Where I'm going with this is that there is probably more potential for a rousing good time than not, but the price point is not so excessive (it's $10, max, for participants, but as long as you don't leave, that time is unlimited within the business operating hours) that one can't just pick up and leave, if it's too much to bear and if that price point is excessive, one can always demand a refund. This provides a good life lesson to the youngsters in how their parents handle various situations as well. All of that aside, what we have here is a bunch of inflatables that are not designed to bear the weight of a fat guy like me but are reasonably intact (I only found one that was actually broken) and fairly well-maintained. If you dislike not wearing shoes, this might not be the best spot as the no shoes rule seems to be to protect small feet, but if traffic is light, you may be able to keep them on or even go barefoot (if you're so unsanitarily inclined). I've seen all three options there. You can also buy socks, if the staff is so inclined to enforce it and you happen to be wearing sandals or whatever. Most of the inflatables are of the slide type, though there is also some sort of maze and obstacle course things and ones for the smaller kids that seems also like an air-filled version of a trampoline. There are also some of the usual climbing objects you'd expect in some of these. Oddly, there was a pizza offered on the menu, but no facilities (that we could see) wherein to cook it. Other than that are pint-sized bags of chips, small bottles of various liquids, canned soda, a slushie machine and various other similar snack type foods. There is allegedly wifi (forgot to test it) and People magazine and a good amount of seating areas for the bored adults accompanying the kids. Staff seemed friendly, for the most part, but also somewhat bored, which is probably reasonable. All in all, I'm not sure of too many ways to do this kind of place much better and nothing I saw there looked remotely unsafe, though some of the decor seemed a bit...charitably, I'll say...odd. My son had a good time and we got a half-off coupon, so I'm sure we'll wander up this way again. read more

I wish I could give this place a negative star. We had arrived for a party that was scheduled at 11. It wasn't until we arrived that we were informed that the party had been moved to 12:30 ad that we could wait the extra hour and a half to get Ito the room. The staff had changed, or double booked the room without letting our friend the hostess know. Extremely poorly run local establishment. I don't write many reviews, but there are a couple of things I want to say about this place. We went on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday party. It was surprisingly not too crowded, but because it is so so tiny, kids were constantly getting trampled over or run into. It was dingy, dirty, and honestly - the very most off-putting part was the SMELL. Holy cow, did it stink in there! Zero ventilation whatsoever. My 8yo daughter said that the stench in the bathroom made her eyes water. We will never go back because the smell was so gross. read more

I took my three year old this week during the day. He had a blast. That kid ran, climbed, and jumped for almost 2 hours. He was so tired when we got done. I love the variety of activities and the plentiful seating so parents can sit and relax while the kids run around. I bought a 10 punch pass before this change and now I'm just trying to use up the rest of pass. I won't come here often. My 2 year old was pretty hesitant at first because the inflatables are pretty big and kinda scary for someone so little, but after 15 minutes she warmed up to them and she was all over the place! Our two and a half year old loved this bouncy place! It wasn't busy when we went so we had no problem with over crowding. She could use any toy with help. But, the facility was filthy. Almost every table/chair/couch was dirty. The floor and toys weren't much better. I get that a kids activity place is going to get dirty, but there were 4 workers up front and 3 of them were standing there doing nothing almost the whole time we were there.. I think they could've been cleaning up the place especially since it wasn't busy. Dirtiness aside, my daughter had a ball! We'll see if she gets sick or not.. read more

The kids love it here! It's a fun place to let them get out all sorts of energy but I find the weight limit on the inflatables unrealistic for parents to play with their kids. These toys can handle way more than 150 pounds. I used to own two of them and full grown adult males could play on them all day. I understand not letting 20 adults on an inflatable but if my husband wants to play with the kids and is 170lbs that should be okay. read more
