Found out yesterday after not hearing from them in a few tears that they had franchised and no longer come to the Houston area. Although they know I have a warranty with them they refused. Spoke with Terry 979-690-8622. Very rude as they always are. She showed no concern. Provided me a number for Orkin 866-949-6067 and said they had our warranty. Called them and they knew nothing about it and did not have our warranty. No one in my neighborhood has received a notice of this franchising and refusal to honor warranty.

They dumped a bunch of rock in, then cut 28 plantings holes in it to install some ground cover. Two weeks later they still had not shown up to plant the creeping thyme; three weeks later they said sorry, we couldn't get the plants; then they just stopped responding to emails or calls. Did not even offer to come back and re-cover the ugly holes, I had to do that myself. Three years later the yard is a butchered mess and I am going to have to hire somebody else to try and fix it. Horrible, expensive experience.

We are on a quarterly schedule now and my house and yard have never been this pleasant before. I hate bugs in the house and am allergic to ants. Now I can actually work in my yard and we have gorgeous flower beds because I don't have to worry about being bitten by fire ants. A few months ago, our dogs caught some fleas from the beach and I called Joe and he gave me some suggestions to try first to save money. We have a 4-bedroom house and a decent size yard and it's about $75 every 3 months. He is also very understanding of my busy and sometimes unpredictable schedule and is really accommodating. Worth every penny!
