Of course, they do a good job cleaning/polishing your teeth. For the most part, they are very good at diagnosing and fixing any dental problems. We've experienced times where we were billed for services covered by insurance, or received collection calls when bills were paid. While I like the practice, the main problem seems to be their billing department. I doubt they are doing anything on purpose, but it seems like billing isn't checking their work before sending out bills. We've argued charges several times now, and it is getting to the point where, if they don't get their act together, we may be forced to leave their practice.

I am told that coffee, drinks, and snacks are available even though no one showed me where they were. My mouth was scanned with their computer software and my retainer was made in their office. When it was ready I scheduled an appointment and the dentist made sure that it fit properly. I highly recommend Impressive Smiles!

I let Tonya know before she started, and she handled it with such care. She was informative, thorough and gentle - I couldn't ask for a better combo. She knew exactly what was causing the sensitivity, and avoided that area though still continued to provide a thorough cleaning. I was so thrilled and very impressed. Apart from this most recent visit, I've always had such a great experience with the dentist too. He's very casual, down to earth and informative. If you're looking for a fancy, high-tech dental experience, this might not be that. This is more of a laid-back, no-frills, family environment with exceptional staff who take perfect care of your teeth. I never feel like they are pushing me to pay for things I don't need (which was my experience at a previous dentist in the area). She seemed more excited to see me than my own family! The dental hygienist that I've used, Denise, is very friendly and patient. She checks with you regularly to make sure you're comfortable during cleanings. She still has to do a thorough job, but not at the expense of pain and discomfort. Incredibly, she remembered the conversation we had the last time I was there. Dr. Relias is always friendly, asking how the family is and taking the time to make sure you're comfortable and clear on how things are looking in your pie-hole. The reception area takes care of submitting claims to insurance, which I'm sure is more painful than dental cleanings, so I'm happy about that. Overall, a great place to get your teeth taken care of and great for cowards!

Their billing coordinater JULIE is The rudest and unprofessional person i have ever met…read more I have Aetna DMO insurance and confirmed via email before my appointment that the office accepted it. They replied that they did. Later, I found out they do not accept Aetna DMO and that I would have to pay. I contacted the office with my concern, and they told me they would resolve the issue and contact me within a few business days. I did not hear back for almost six months, so I believed the issue had been resolved. After six months, the billing coordinator called and said I had to pay $92, accusing me of not informing them that I had Aetna DMO. I clearly stated that I informed them I had Aetna DMO both before my appointment and on the day of my visit, and I have the original email as proof. She did not listen, insisted I pay, and threatened to send the bill to collections. She also accused me of not knowing what insurance I have. I was very upset and went to the office in person. She was not welcoming, did not apologize, and did not acknowledge that this was not my fault. She said she started the job in August and was unaware of the issue, and even said, "Do you want to argue all day?". Unbelievable . I did not want to talk to her anymore and then they said DR. Rhie will see me after she is done with the patient but did not show up, i guess she just wants me to leave asap. Later after adjusting my balance to $0, billing coordinator said, "It's done. You'll never have to come again, The tone in which she said this was condescending and made me feel looked down on. I found this behavior rude and unprofessional. I am very upset that they failed to acknowledge their error or offer an apology for accusing me

He explained thoroughly our options and what we could do for my daughter's braces. He did scans and we decided to wait for the 2 upper teeth to fall out. But now Dr. Kaplin is saying we need to extract all 4 bottom baby teeth, 2 upper baby teeth and 2 upper adult teeth all at once! Then he can start the braces for my daughter. When we mentioned that that was not what we discussed previously, his tone changed and started becoming rude and snappy and seemed annoyed by us. "I don't think we are on the same page here. I'm hearing a lot about baby teeth but I'm not concerned about that"

Furthermore, they do not take insurance and make you pay up front. Well my insurance accidentally sent the reimbursement check to them instead of me, and instead of forwarding it to me (like they said they would) I never heard from them and they cashed the check! Four months later I had to call them when I realized I still never received the check- had I never called they would have made twice the cost of the exam (I paid them, and insurance also paid them).
