Originally, I was wanting my front top and bottom teeth to be straightened. Dr. Moore also widen my smile, which made a HUGE difference. Prior to the consult, I had no idea I had a narrow smile. Dr. Moore and her staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming, and the office is not at all intimidating. There are TVs on the ceiling (to watch while you're reclined in the chair), video games in the waiting area, and nice smelling soap in the bathroom. I mean, did your dentist have flat screen tvs for you to watch while you got your tooth pulled? Main Street Smiles has it all. From a super friendly reception area to a charming office converted from a downtown home in main street Barrington, honestly, it feels less like going to the dentist and more like visiting a family member. For my procedures, I had Dr. Pattani, and he immediately put me at ease by confirming the procedures involved, showing me detailed images, and sharing how routine an extraction/implant procedure actually is. My endodontist mentioned that my case might be a bit more complicated, but Dr. Pattani did his due diligence, exploring, researching, and ultimately coming to his own conclusion as to what treatment/next steps were needed. Following the first major procedure, he personally checked on me several times to make sure my recovery was going well. In my case, I had very little pain and I'm eager to see the results of the implant take hold in future visits. It's all smiles for me here. And yes, those flat screen TVs are for real. First and foremost as new patients they were able to get us in right away. The lady who scheduled my appointment was very nice and very understanding from the get go. We arrived with a very unhappy little boy and they told us to just take all of the time we needed to get him acclimated and they weren't kidding. My son was loving their set up with the treehouse/playhouse and the touchscreen games, but when it came time for his visit he had another meltdown. They did everything they could to try to settle him but nothing was working so we had planned a different location of theirs thinking it might do the trick. But after another 30 minutes my kid was calmed enough to try again. And they were so kind to squeeze us in (mind you this was a full hour and a half after our appointment and they were so accepting and kind!!) They went really slow with him and walked him through the whole thing. He's already scheduled for his second appointment and he says he's willing to return!! That's huge.
