Cleanliness of Restaurant - 5 star Food - 3 star Wait Time - 3 star Customer Service - 4 star My order for six pieces of lumpia required approximately 30 minutes for preparation. While the wait time was extended, it appeared that only two staff members were on duty during a busy Saturday. Upon receiving our order, the gentleman who assisted us was very apologetic regarding the delay. The lumpia were flavorful, though somewhat greasy. The accompanying sauce was provided in a suitable portion. The restaurant maintained a high standard of cleanliness. The karaoke facilities at this venue appear to be a significant draw in the evenings. Upon our arrival, three gentlemen were serenading incoming patrons, showcasing their vocal talents. This establishment provides a selection of hot dishes, prepared in advance and maintained in heating trays for immediate service. Supporting local, family-owned businesses is a commendable practice, and this establishment consistently experienced a steady flow of customers. We highly recommend this restaurant for those in the area seeking Filipino cuisine.

Basically, it's a one-stop shop! My mom and I decided to stay for lunch and ordered at the counter. They'll let you know what's no longer available, which I appreciated. We got the palabok and a tofu combo plate that comes with three lumpias, pancit bison, and rice - my mom swapped the pancit for bangus since we already had the palabok. Food came out quickly, which was perfect because we were starving! One guy was handling everything - taking orders, delivering food, the works and he kept it all running smoothly. The food was delicious across the board. The tofu especially impressed me; it was beautifully seasoned, which is rare since most restaurants tend to under-do it. On our way out, we grabbed a halo-halo for my dad and a bilo-bilo guinataan to go - both were total yums. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant was clean and the server was extremely nice. I told her it was my first time trying Filipino food and she recommended a few plates. I ended up ordering the combo plate with Dinuguan. I must say this plate was flavorful and delicious. Prices are cheaper than a fast food meal and plates are well served. Definitely give them a try.

I waited longer than I should have for another visit but I was trying not to go overboard on bread/sweets... was waiting on the text (which they said they would) when Halo-Halo was back and they most certainly did that!!! Granted, it was after I saw an IG post that it was back, but they still went out of their way to text me too-- AND, they were there past closing time (after I got off work) so that my friends and I could go for the goods (Halo-Halo & some baked yums)... thank youuu! I came last year to purchase some pastries. See my last review. This time I came in and I had to get the Halo Halo which always looks good. It was something that I've seen at other Filipino establishments. It was really good. It had ube ice cream, another ice cream, and on the bottom I think coconut and some candy or jelly or some sort. But whatever it was, it was so good. The other thing that I got was the Ube brownie. Now this thing was unique in taste and worth coming back for as it's nothing like your average brownie. It had some chew to it but it melted in your mouth. Plus it's purple. Please come try this place out.

We had the 2 combo plate with rice ($15) and sampled a bit of everything from the steam tables (turo turo and they still heated it up for you after you select it) and the fried items on the back counter. Everything we ate was masarap! I had the fried bangus and mongo (rare to find this on the menu these days) . Sisters had the diniguan, bulaklak, Kare kare and afritada. We added pandan for dessert and pancit palabok to go. The guy was soooooo nice!!! He asked us where we came from, etc and kept bringing us things to try (sinigang was also very good). He was the sweetest!!! The food, family vibe, cleanliness, value and excellent service make this as special place. Just go!!!

The location has shrunk in size, but they've upgraded their options and have some pre-packaged snacks and treats--including pints of Magnolia ice cream. The garlic rice, pancit, adobo (chicken or pork), and lumpia are still the same and delicious. I am a little sad that there is usually only one variety of sinigang soup at a time...usually the fish, which is my least favorite, because you may end up with the head (including eyeballs)-which I know some love, but I'm really not a fan. My favorite is the pork or shrimp, which I believe have superior flavor. Just as with everywhere else, prices have skyrocketed, reducing our ability to frequent Jowli's. Still, when we get food-to-go, this is a place that we prefer to support. I'm glad it has survived over a decade-Fresno is better with Jowli's here.
