WHY WE WENT HERE: - work lunch THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located off Tully Rd (look out for the food truck!) - parking is tight; we parked around the corner/rear of the restaurant and walked to the front entrance THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - way bigger than I would have expected; tons of seating - like a lot of Filipino spots, there was pre-made food in warmer trays as you go through to pick your plate; there are however, certain items made to order THE MENU: - appetizers - all-day breakfast - dessert - drinks - beef dishes - pork dishes - chicken dishes - noodle dishes - veggie dishes - combo plates - Kamayan: bilawo one, bilao two, bilao three *** pay attention to the food counter signage for any other dishes not displayed to order WHAT WE ORDERED: - combo plates; mine was half and half pancit, garlic fried rice, dinuguan, and dinakdakan THE TASTE: - great! favorite was the dinakdakan - everything was very filling; was able to split it between lunch and dinner CUSTOMER SERVICE: - worker helped out my co-worker with explaining how it works, etc. and gave suggestions

Customer service was trash. I requested a 2 entree plate they gave me 1 and then when I went back to adjust it I was told that I didn't say that. Normally I don't do this but the aggressive manner of this was uncalled for. They tried to charge me $12 dollars for gulay, a small order at that. When I originally spoke w the father he then put his son on the phone. Crazy thing is I've been going there and spending money never had a problem until today! And I will not continue spending money there. Stay blessed.

I was very excited to find a Filipino spot as I was passing through Modesto for work. Unfortunately, my siomai was burnt. Still would like to come back and try the rest of the menu.

I have been craving halo halo for months now so I was sappy to find this place while visiting Modesto. Although the halo halo was good, it was missing some of the main authentic ingredients such as the beans. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I was satisfied but I won't be retuning for halo halo.

First time in... Won't be the last! This place is old world good, reminding me of time I spent in the Philippines... Out of the thousands of islands... this one is the best! Lol

Sorry I forgot to take a before pic but it was that good !

I came in hungry craving Filipino food. I googled Filipino restaurant near me and Filipino corner came up. Thought I'd give it a try and I went for my favorites pork dinuguan and chicken adobo. Both were delicious! They had an amazing garlic rice and pancit was very flavorful as well. I'll definitely be back ! Restaurant is super clean and the service was perfect! 10/10

Food was very good and service was very good. The price was very reasonable and will always continue to go get my Filipino food there.

Basically, it's a one-stop shop! My mom and I decided to stay for lunch and ordered at the counter. They'll let you know what's no longer available, which I appreciated. We got the palabok and a tofu combo plate that comes with three lumpias, pancit bison, and rice - my mom swapped the pancit for bangus since we already had the palabok. Food came out quickly, which was perfect because we were starving! One guy was handling everything - taking orders, delivering food, the works and he kept it all running smoothly. The food was delicious across the board. The tofu especially impressed me; it was beautifully seasoned, which is rare since most restaurants tend to under-do it. On our way out, we grabbed a halo-halo for my dad and a bilo-bilo guinataan to go - both were total yums. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant was clean and the server was extremely nice. I told her it was my first time trying Filipino food and she recommended a few plates. I ended up ordering the combo plate with Dinuguan. I must say this plate was flavorful and delicious. Prices are cheaper than a fast food meal and plates are well served. Definitely give them a try.

The prepared foods like tamales, Chicharron breads, ceviche, and all of the prepared foods are fantastic! My wife, my son, and I were in the area and everyone was craving breakfast burritos. I knew there…read morewas a Vallarta Market just down the street, so I stopped in. First off, this store is beautiful. Everything looked fresh, clean, and well-stocked. The food selection was impressive. Ordering at the food counter, however, was a little frustrating. The young lady helping us was very friendly, but she wasn't familiar with what came inside the different breakfast burritos, so it took a while to figure out our order. One thing to be aware of is that Vallarta really nickel-and-dimes you on add-ons. They offer a chorizo and egg burrito or a chorizo and potato burrito, but not a chorizo, egg, and potato burrito. They couldn't simply add potatoes, yet they had no problem charging nearly $2 to add one egg--and another $1.99 just to add cheese. Charging almost $2 for cheese seemed excessive. That said, the burritos themselves were delicious. The salsa was also excellent and really tied everything together. My only other complaint was the filling wasn't distributed very well. My wife thought her burrito didn't have any potatoes until she was halfway through it and finally found them all in one section. Overall, the food was excellent and we'd definitely order it again. If you're looking for a great breakfast burrito and don't mind paying extra for customizations, Vallarta Market is definitely worth a visit.
