My friends and I ate here yesterday around 2 PM. When our food arrived, I immediately noticed that it smelled a little off and mentioned it to my friends. I had a small amount of the Bicol Express and pancit. We also returned the ampalaya dish and exchanged it for sinigang na baboy. I usually enjoy Filipino food and almost always finish my meal, but this time I barely ate and left all of my leftovers behind. After we got home, I started feeling nauseous. Customer service was trash. I requested a 2 entree plate they gave me 1 and then when I went back to adjust it I was told that I didn't say that. Normally I don't do this but the aggressive manner of this was uncalled for. They tried to charge me $12 dollars for gulay, a small order at that. When I originally spoke w the father he then put his son on the phone. Crazy thing is I've been going there and spending money never had a problem until today! The lumpia were much larger than I expected and were more similar to egg rolls. I prefer the smaller traditional lumpia. The pancit was a little on the plain side and wasn't too oily. They looked like egg rolls. Even tasted like them. Or maybe they were? Maybe there was a confusion on my order but I could have sworn I ordered lumpias. Anyways, the pork adobo was really good. It had a nice broth taste to it but surprisingly, the rice was extra good. I would say it was the star of the show. The rice was fluffy, warm, and nicely accompanied with the adobo.
