I had an amazing experience getting tattooed by Shari at Kapwa Ink. This was a model piece and it turned out absolutely perfect--I'm genuinely so happy with how everything came out. The studio vibe is super chill, and Shari did an incredible job making me feel totally comfortable from start to finish. She checked in throughout the session to make sure I was doing okay and asked if I needed any breaks, which I really appreciated. I also got to meet Kristina who was just as chill and welcoming. We all were chatting the whole time, and it honestly felt like hanging out with friends. Shari is incredibly talented, and the team at Kapwa Ink creates such a warm, relaxed environment. I booked my first ever tattoo session with Kristina. I was so nervous, but Kristina has such a calm and welcoming vibe from the beginning. She brought my vision for my tattoo and gave it a life I couldn't have even created in my dreams! Her idea to add little details to my tattoo made all the difference (ie shading and line work) Her Instagram bio describes her PERFECTLY, a mama and a bestie. It really felt like we've known each other for a long time (I saw another review highlight this and couldn't agree more!). She made me feel super comfortable and we laughed and joked for my whole 4 hour session. It actually went by so much faster than I thought! She checked on me throughout my session asking if I needed a break to drink water or have a snack and it makes all the difference to get through a longer session! I will definitely be back for my next piece and I'd be open to having my next pieces from the other artists as well since I've learned a little about them through Kristina so I'd love to get to know them too! Love Kapwa Ink! My first dog recently passed away and it was only right to have Kristina do a piece in honor of my dog. Let me just say.. it turned out exactly what I wanted!! The whole entire appointment went by quick (thank god because a hand tattoo is painful ). The vibes were great: great music & a lot of laughs so it made me feel comfortable the whole time. I booked with Kristina for my very first tattoo, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! During my appointment, she was very patient and gentle. I was indecisive about the placement of my tattoo but she took the time to help me figure out what would look best and never made me feel rushed. Kristina did my tattoo for me and I can't recommend her enough!! From the initial consult texts, to my appointment, and aftercare. Everything was professional, thoughtful, and she listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life. The tattoo-ing process was not painful at all. The worst part was the soap when she cleaned it at the end. The appointment took 3 hours for a 7" tattoo on my thigh and honestly, it felt like way faster than that. Kristina is the absolute best! I wanted a fine line tattoo that was culturally and personally meaningful to me. I sought out Kristina not only because her work is BEAUTIFUL but also because I wanted a Filipina to give me my first tattoo. Kristina is the sweetest soul. I came in on my birthday to get my aunt's name tattooed. She was very gentle and light handed. The tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it. Kristina is such a hospitable and friendly tattoo artist. She instantly makes you feel right at home and comfortable as you get tatted by her. So easy to talk to, like talking to a bestie! I came in twice-- the first time for a few sticker tattoos, the second time for a flash tattoo. Her flash tattoo event was so awesome! Yummy drinks were served and there were a lot of people at the event, so it was fun to mingle as we waited our turns. I also got my nails done as I waited my turn. Kristina is not like any other tattoo artist I have ever worked with. She was so responsive and kind during the entire pre-tattoo phase when it came to the actual design of it and through the entire tattoo experience. My wife and I gave her a bunch of ideas of what we were looking for and she was able to sift through the noise and come up with some of the most beautiful designs I've ever seen. When it came to the actual tattooing, she was so kind and asking a ton of questions from size, to placement all the way to the darkness of the ink we wanted. Again, those questions may seem basic and trivial but I've been tattooed 14 other times and not once has anyone asked me these questions. The studio is so bright and the vibe is awesome! She was so quick and it was almost painless. Finding a fine line tattoo artist can be difficult and I'm so glad I found her! I cannot wait until I get my next one read more

I wanted to get them re-pierced and after researching tattoo parlors in the area, I chose Sacred Souls because of all of the high reviews. I made an appointment online for a 30 minute ear piercing session, but I did not specify that I wanted 5 piercings (4 lobe/1 helix). Sin was gracious enough to accommodate my request. He explained their full process and showed me their starter jewelry. Once I picked out what I wanted, he took me to their piercing area in the back which looked clean, sterile, and well-organized. The room would look just like a doctor's office if it wasn't for the fun decor. The piercing itself kind of turned into a breathing/meditation session. Sin gave me a squish ball to squeeze and then his voice became calm and soothing. He gently advised me to take 2 deep breaths as he went forward with each piercing and these were not too painful. I was at a 3 on a scale of 1-10. Afterwards, Sin went over the after-care instructions. Despite my mistake with the scheduling, I never felt rushed during my appointment. It is obvious that Sin is knowledgeable and takes great care with the whole process and that safety and cleanliness are important to him. The gal at the front register was friendly and helpful as well. I felt like the pricing for the multiple piercings and starter jewelry was fair. I appreciated receiving a follow-up text the next day and so far, everything seems to be healing well. If you want to get your ears pierced, don't go to the mall like I did before.
