Omg, I love this place! I literally came in just to have Sin remove my nose ring for an international visa photo... and somehow walked out with two new piercings After he took out my nose ring, I told him how badly I wanted a tragus and another lobe piercing--but I left to take my visa photo and tried to act responsible. I've always wanted to adorn my lobes with more piercings -- specifically my seconds. I've been hesitant to do so because my first piercings were all types of messed up. I got them done as a baby and my grandma, who wanted to change out my earrings, decided to get them redone while we were in the Philippines because my piercing was too small for her to see. Over time, the piercings on my left lobe migrated and became one big one (enough to start gauges). Sin and Myra eased my worries. From the moment I got there, they examined my lobes, suggested placement and gave recommendations on the type and size of posts/earrings that'll be best for my ears and healing. I picked my earrings, and right off the bat they discussed pricing which is nice that they go over it first before the procedure itself. As for the procedure, they brought me into the room and everything was super clean and sterilized. They had my selected earrings running through the sterilizer and showed me the reader indicating that it's sterile. They were very meticulous about placement and constantly checked to see if it was to my liking. When the markings were finalized, I was guided through some deep breathing which helped ease my nervousness. It was a slight pinch at first that lingered for no more than a minute. The process for two lobe piercings took no more than 30 minutes. They discussed aftercare and next steps, with a recommendation to go down in post size once it has healed. I went to Sin at Sacred Soul, based on my friend's recommendation, she's been going to him for years and I'm so glad I did. I wanted to get my second lobe re-pierced since I originally had it done back in high school with a gun at the mall, and I always felt like it was too close to my first piercing, so I let it close over time. Sin was seriously amazing. He was so accommodating, kind, and patient with all of us. I was pretty nervous going in because I'd never been pierced with a needle before, but he made me feel really comfortable and explained everything in a way that calmed me down. He even suggested to put the butterfly upside down for better placement as i told him im more big on how the tattoo sits on that part of body. I'm so glad I found this spot on Yelp, this is a 5 star, 10/10 review for Sin who pierced my ears! I was convinced to come here by the other reviews for him and they are definitely not exaggerating! Sin is professional, friendly, and warm from the start and I felt very comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. I got a rook, conch, and pair of lobes pierced. I called beforehand to ask about their appointments and it was very easy to make it online for the next day. During the appt, he showed me the different earrings that came with the piercing, let me hold them up to my ear to see the different sizes and styles (I chose to pay addl to upgrade my jewelry), and also made sure that I'd have enough room for my earphones if I got the rook and the conch (which I was a bit worried about). Didn't feel rushed or pressured at all during this whole process. Then I was walked back to a very clean piercing room. All the earrings he and I handled previously were fully sanitized. He was super encouraging and genuine in his care when I was nervous about the piercings. As mentioned in the other reviews, he walked me through breathing exercises which really helped. I followed my artist Deasy to Sacred Soul, and had my first tatt done at this location yesterday. I was in the shop for 10 hours and there are a few take aways I can share with you as you decide if this is the place to hit up: 1. The place is CLEAN. Everything is in order, workspaces aren't cluttered or dirty. 2. The energy is the place is positive and "flow-y". It feels really open and the vibe is on point. 3 The work I saw being done by the other artists was no less than impressive. And hella people came through all day for piercings too! When I first walked in Sin greeted me with warmth and excitement. Throughout the day we chatted about our tatts and future tatts and he definitely kept checking on me and if I needed anything, wanted a drink, etc. Definitely felt like he cared about my experience but also we had great conversation too. My boy Deasy will do all my poly tatts FOR LIFE. The level of thought and intention he puts into his design and the work behind it is second to none in my opinion. We chop it up while he's working or he lets me take a nap while inking me up lol. I walked in to purchase jewelry on 2/24/25 and was excited to see my options. I was a bit nervous as I tend to struggle with social anxiety. Right of the bat the vibe was a bit hostile. It was my second time visiting this specific piercer "sin" and I felt as I was being rushed and talked down to in a rude way. My first experience here was not like that at all. I could feel myself getting more nervous as more time in the studio passed. I asked to see more jewelry options and he was being rude when telling me which pieces he should pull for me to look at. I could sense he was impatient as I was taking my time looking. He also rudely told my boyfriend to move to the side so I could use the mirror as "he wasn't going to use it either way". I felt uncomfortable but still decided to proceed and purchase a nose piercing worth $130. In the back he proceeded to be more hostile and told me I wasn't holding the mirror right and implying that I wasn't paying attention. Instead of directing me and making me feel comfortable during the appointment, I felt embarrassed, rushed, and like I was being talked down to. I will never be returning here for any services and will not recommend anyone to get piercings done here. Yes everything was clean and the piercing is nice but attitude and customer service are everything in a business. Please learn to be more respectful or nice to clients because we are paying for services and not doing things for free. read more
