Seems like everyone there says the company is full of liars and cheats. Was a customer for 13 years thru this agency for Universal Property & Casualty .Had my first claim…read moreJune 2020 because of storm surge damaged my attached patio.Took 2 weeks to get an appraiser to look at it and then I could not get anybody to call me back. Dershimer agency would not not even return my call (Dave or the Supervisor) even as I continued my policy payments. No contact for 90 days then on the 100th day after I called my Dershimer rep, she told me my claim was denied and emailed a copy of a denial letter dated 8/10/2020 that I never received. Funny how nobody would follow up with me on this or try to keep me up to date. VERY unprofessional as a business. I even asked several times to have Dave Dershimer personally return my call but that never happened. Do not do business with Universal Property & Casualty Insurance or Dershimer Insurance Agency.
