I called before getting a groupon/yelp ( I think it was a $99 for $249 deal). However, Karen told me over the phone that she will offer me the deal directly When I went to the Salon, she tells me the $99 treatment is not the same as a $250 treatment and so I actually ended up paying $250. (Why did she price her service at $249 if the charge is $250. I felt cheated but its hard for me to take out 2-3 hours block of time so I just went with it. She upsells her services! Also, during my time there, she was constantly chatting with another lady, which was annoying since Salon time is my me time! Karen is amazing! I've seen her twice now so it's about time I wrote her a review. Words to describe Karen are honest, accommodating, comfortable, and reasonable. For my first visit, I came in wanting an ombre for my friends wedding. She told me straight up that she would do it for me, but definitely wouldn't recommend it. My hair was severely damaged since I burned a large portion of it and an ombre would have made it worse. Instead, she gave me some really pretty highlights that everyone loved and cut my hair in a way that would keep the length but make it appear healthier. The highlights were very soft and subtle. Even after a few months, they grew out nicely and you couldn't even tell. I just had my second visit with her, and I wanted to go all out. I decided I wanted to do an all-over color that was purply reddish. I had many ideas in my head, even auburn, but really didn't have a clue of what I wanted. We talked it out and she came up with this epic hair color concoction and it turned out beautifully! My hair looks extremely shiny and soft now and the color is stunning. I totally recommend her.
