I've been coming here for 6 years. I've had all types of hair colors and my main girl Tar always make sure I'm good before I leave her chair. I've went from red, to jet black, to ombré and now a blondie. I believe in loyalty! That's why I always return for her services. Friendly, patient, understandable and awesome customer service. If you're ever in the area, this salon will take care of you. It's also really convenient. It's in a plaza with a nail shop, restaurants, banks and atm are close by. Had to rate a star to leave a review. During covid pandemic, called to make an appt, asked if they wore masks. I was assured that they have to wear them. Went to appointment, no one was wearing masks and the person that was scheduled to cut my hair, literally blew off hair with her mouth, on the customer she was working on!!!! Yes... you read that right. It's no wonder GA and FL are the highest rates for covid. People refuse to do the one thing that could flatten the curve! Needless to say, I walked out. read more

Had to give at least a star in order to post. Had an appoint scheduled for Saturday and received a text that my appointment was cancelled. Mind you I got a confirmation few days ago. So I called to check why it was cancelled and a woman answered. Told her the situation and in a not caring way said yes it's cancelled. Not offering to reschedule. I ask the reason for canceling. Again in the same tone time conflict. Not offering to reschedule. I asked so.... do we have to pick a different day. Same tone yes. Not offering to reschedule. Well what do you have available. Next week Thursday Friday. That didn't work for me so I asked did you have anything available on the weekend she said no. That's it bitter and short. I asked to make sure they weren't going to charge me a fee because they cancelled and not me she assured me they weren't. We were looking forward in seeing the results as well as some folks in the natural hair group I'm in. After this mess they were not interested anymore. Customer service is key. A little compassion goes a long way. Won't be doing business with this company. read more

I am absolutely THRILLED with my decision to go to this salon! Lisa will be my hair stylist from now on. She gave me exactly what I asked for without talking to me like I was stupid when I tried to explain it to her (y'all know what I'm talking about). My hair looks amazing, it's healthier and she didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need (again, y'all know what I'm taking about). I was also really pleasantly surprised that this salon does not charge an arm and a leg like other upscale salons. I just can't say enough positive things about this experience. My sister and I were lucky today when we walked into Salon La Vie and Lissa was free. She listened to how we wanted to have our hair styled and then made suggestions as to how to adjust things a bit to make it more flattering. We both loved the results. She took her time and her years of experience were evident. She really knows hair and loves her work. The price is very reasonable so we will be regular customers now. read more
