She was also great in texting me a day before my appointment, providing a pleasant reminder of my appointment. The salon is located on the southwest corner of Eglinton Avenue East and Bayview Avenue. I decided to park across the street at the Metro, where there is plenty of parking. Due to the Crosstown transit construction taking place, it took me longer than I had anticipated to figure out where the front door was. I found it, which was behind all the construction fences that were set up. I was greeted promptly by both the person working at the front counter and the nail technician. They were kind. They offered me a cup of green tea. I had a wonderful conversation with Kasia, who worked on my nails. I learned so much about myself and shellac manicures. She noticed that I am warm-blooded and that my cuticles are close to my nails. As a result, when she trimmed one of my cuticles with a fairly sophisticated cuticle clipper, my baby finger bled a bit, but it didn't hurt. She also noticed that I have a high pain threshold, which is true. We talked about her issues with her iPhone. We tried troubleshooting it together. She taught me so much about shellac manicures. The best thing is to file down your nails that have shellac (gel) polish, as it won't chip as much. I took her advice and she was absolutely right. She also recommended that I apply a base coat twice. My nails had a bit of staining from red polish that I had applied weeks before my visit. I went with a pink polish. It looked nice once Kasia was done. She admitted that the colour suited me. My Groupon also included a paraffin wax and massage on my hands. It felt so good. I don't know what happened, but I managed to cut my finger and it started to bleed as I was about to head out the door. It's a good thing that I was still at the salon. Kasia managed to stop the bleeding and provided a small bandage on it. I was thankful. It is also tricky to put a bandage on nicely moisturized hands. I had an excellent experience here. I was also asked to take some Belgian chocolates from the bowl. I hope to come back here again. My nail polish lasted for well over a month, which was impressive. I wanted to test out how long I could go with my polish growing out. (7)

It definitely worked. She is not going to push expensive packages on you just for the sake of it. She truly wants to see results for you. I am going to VS MedSpa for my pigmentation and I truly trust Victoria. She is very responsive via email, FB, or cell. I have never had an issue with appointment times or waiting. I've already recommended to my family.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER…read more I went to my first appointment booked for 5:30pm. Since it was the first one, I thought that probably I would have to fill in some forms and I decided to arrive earlier at 5:15pm. When I arrived, the office was closed with a post-it on the door mentioning "I will come back at 5:45pm". I thought it was weird if my appointment was at 5:30pm but I decided to wait. The office is at the second floor on a building with no AC at the hallways and I did have a face mask so it was very annoying due to the hot. Then, at 5:40pm another client came and told me she did have an appointment at 5:45pm. So, when I explained to her than I had been waiting for a while she called the owner and she told her we were both there. This customer told me that she preferred calling her because the first time she went there the same thing happened to her and the owner had completely forgotten about her appointment as well. When the owner came back, she didn't even bother to apologize and she just asked the other lady to go inside instead of me who at that point had been waiting for more than 30 minutes! When I asked her about my appointment, she just told me what I was explaining was "impossible" because she did book my appointment for 6pm and that she went out at 5:30pm (seriously?! When she had done the same to the same other client on her first appointment as well? And when I had been there since 5:15pm?). In few words, after all the wait she just implied I was lying about the time of my appointment, as well as all the time I had been waiting there and she didn't even apologize. Just told me that because I did have to fill in some forms (almost at 6pm), the other customer was going first. I was VERY frustrated so I decided to find another place to go. Just a very AWFUL way to treat a customer on the first appointment!!

I have always scheduled myself for a lunch time appointment during the work week. I've never had to wait long to see Christine, nor were the sessions lengthy themselves. However, I was given a skin lighting cream to use in conjunction with my treatments and was not told that I needed to stop three days prior to my appointment. I ended up going to my appointment but was told that I needed to move the appointment to a different day since I had just used a lightening skin cream that morning. I was told to email the director to reinstate my appointment. In January he emailed me back and reinstated my appointment. I then went to the appointment he reinstated. Please find attached screenshots for reference of our communication. That happened in January and fast forward we are now in April. As time passed I really wasn't satisfied with the service provided so I decided to leave a review a week ago. After my review the owner unprofessionally revoked my last treatment session coming up in May. This was a complete separate appointment with a different laser which I paid for separately from the one he reinstated. I have already paid in full and he has not provided me a refund. He decided to cancel my last upcoming appointment out of spite due to my bad review and is trying to link it to the missed appointment that he already reinstated in January (almost 5 months ago). I truly wish I had read reviews before booking at this establishment. My background as a nurse gives me a different perspective. Some staff members seemed underqualified, contributing to an uncomfortable environment from the beginning. During my second laser session, the nurse appeared unsure of how to use the laser and needed assistance. The procedure was incredibly painful, resulting in scarring. Despite assurances that this was normal, the pain was intense, and six treatments have not improved the scars. I need to mention that a-lot of 5 star reviews are misleading because the owner often reinstates appointments in exchange for reviews. While I understand that not every client will have a negative experience, it's crucial to take the poor reviews seriously. Sometimes the issues can be remedied by how it is handled. However, the way the owner handles issues at this company demonstrates a lack of professionalism and extreme immaturity. In response to any criticism, he decides to just cancel your appointments unethically. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the session and checked in often. The heated bed was a great touch especially since it's winter. The room was very clean and well maintained. At the end, there were warm towels for clean up. Parking is available on the side or inside, and while there are paid parking machines on site, they are currently wrapped and not in use, which was convenient. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I will definitely be coming back.

It's a very clean and well maintained place. The owner there was very nice and professional. I've gone to other places that seem to work during sessions but all the growth comes back a few months later if I stop. Viola invests in good quality equipment with lasers that actually work! The hairs I have left are few and very fine even several months after treatment so I only need to shave once a week or even once a month(legs) to keep everything silky smooth. Now I only go for treatments every 6 months or so for general upkeep. Fariba is also very warm. welcoming and professional. She takes great care to make sure you're comfortable during treatments and is very flexible/accommodating with her schedule.
