READ THIS FIRST!! (KARMA DAMAGED MY CAR) I had been pretty satisfied with the customer service and quality of work I received at Karma. But the ULTIMATE test of a good company is how they deal with mistakes when they mess up. Karma performed an "acid wash" hard water removal on my car and damaged ALL OF THE GLASS on my SUV -- AND my driver side rearview mirror -- and they are not taking ANY responsibility for it. After driving away from Karma a few months back, I thought the guys has missed a section on the upper corners of my windshield. I drove back and asked them to wipe it off. The manager said that I had "hard water" deposits (probably from parking in range of a sprinkler system at my old apartment). He suggested the next time I come to request a "hard water removal" process and that spots would go away. The next time I came in, I requested the treatment. But it was pretty expensive. Since I was only really concerned with removing the spots on the top corners of my WINDSHIELD, I asked if they could limit the treatment to just the glass. They agreed and prorated the fee. That day I left with pretty great results. The manager suggested I come back AGAIN and have the BODY and CHROME treated the same way. So I did: I returned a few weeks ago, told them I had the glass done last time and asked that they only treat the body and chrome (so I didn't have to pay the high cost of the ENTIRE treatment). The manager agreed and, again, charged me a prorated cost to do just the BODY of my car -- NOT the glass. My car is finished 60 minutes later. I pay and leave. At first glance the car looked good. However while driving away I noticed that my windshield had this hazy, almost pixelated effect all over it. I also noticed my driver's side mirror had this "frosted" coat over it. Assuming someone used the wrong towel to dry the inside of my windshield, I drove back to have them clean off the residue. The manager said he had noticed the problem and brought a couple guys over with scrubber pads to scrape off the junk off my mirror -- but that made it look TWICE as horrible! Their scrubbing efforts did NOTHING to correct the damage to my windshield and windows. The manager (Marvin) said he thinks acid must have got BEHIND the mirror as he was spraying it and it "ate off" the back coating? He said he'd ALSO seen the SAME effect on windshield glass at least one other time at Karma, but that customer may have had "defective glass" and the dealer replaced it for that person? After going back and forth for 3 weeks with their owner, Freddie Elias, Karma's position is (and I'm quoting his TEXT message to me): "We feel we have not caused the damages to your vehicle as this is the same product we have used in thousands of cars... We feel this is a defect in the glass not a cause of the product. Feel free to provide your [insurance] agent with my name and number should they need to communicate with me." TRANSLATION: Sorry, buddy, we're not claiming ANY responsibility -- you're on your own to work this out! A defective rear-view mirror AND defective windshield? What?? Really?? Come on... Oh! But then, as consolation, they offered me a few free detail sessions for my inconvenience?? The PRODUCT may be the one they always use but someone must have done something wrong WITH the product because I LEFT Karma with a damaged vehicle. I know the treatment POTENTIALLY works -- it worked well for me the first time -- but SOMETHING went wrong THIS time and Karma needs to do the right thing to correct it. Heck, they weren't even supposed to TOUCH my glass this time. Their denial of responsibility is illogical. It's like telling a customer "We know you didn't ASK for a wax job, but we threw one in for free. Oh, and we DAMAGED your car while we gave you the free wax, but we waxed your car like we waxed all other cars. So we're not claiming ANY responsibility for the damage we did to your car during the free treatment that we wen't supposed to do anyway..." -- ?? Per their request, I have had the glass inspected at both the dealer AND at an independent windshield repair and neither say there are any known issues with my model's windshield -- my glass is not "defective." They say chances are the OTHER unfortunate soul who suffered the same malpractice at Karma was probably still under factory warranty and that the dealership replaced his glass as a courtesy. My SUV is FOUR years old now so I don't have that option. Instead, I now have to go through all the hassle of settling this with a claim against Karma. If I can save ONE soul the hassle of going through this with Karma, then writing this review is worth it. Karma may do this treatment on "thousands of cars" but their fail rate is apparently a damaged vehicle in 1 out of 1,000. Don't let the next damaged vehicle be yours. read more

SHAME what a shame... I went to this place and I had a really bad experiance, and was not one time only... The first time I just thought the washer guys were tired, because they did a really shitty job on my car, I went one more time and I must say KARMA CAR WASH IS THE WORSE PLACE THAT I EVER TOOK MY CAR... My brand new BMW was badly scratched, and when I asked to talked to the manager or the owner, i was told they were unavailable... I was very shocked when I got my car back... Nobody would to talk to me, they just ignored me so that i would leave... I will never go back again, and if you like your car stay away... I CALL THAT CAR WASH, BAD KARMA CAR WASH... My husband's car can get, well, how do I put this nicely: Piggly? Filthy? Disgusting? Yeah, all of those and then some. While we normally wash our cars at home ourselves, we decided the dirt factor had reached professional levels. So over to super cute Karma Car Wash we went. Both of us were floored when we found out we could get a head-to-toe scrub for the bargain price of $180. Wha???? For $180 I expect extra parts to be added to my car. Our next offer was a $130 wash. Again, wha????? Does breakfast come with that? We settled on the $20 standard wash. They did a great job ridding my hubby's filth-mobile of its crusty coat, but the first few estimates seemed, well, insane. I guess you can't blame a company for trying to bilk a buck. Luckily, neither one of us had just fallen off a filthy turnip truck. read more

Full service car spa. I know it sounds crazy, but if you like to treat your car to a solid carwash, Karma is the place. The only thing keeping this from being a 4 star business is the customer service. Typical Miami. While the service or product is excellent the interactions with the employees are that of your local McDonalds. Prices are not the cheapest in town and when you pay a premium price you should receive that in return. This includes friendly interactions, attentiveness and a focus on building their clientele. Get off your cell phone, interact with customers, smile and you will provide a far better experience than you do today. As a result more customers will go out of their way to have a glass of wine as their car gets the care it deserves. read more

When I pulled up to the car wash I was greeted by a seemingly knowledgeable fellow who gave my vehicle a once over and proceeded to recommend wash packages.... Karma Shine... Karma Interior Clean or something like that ..... The prices and packages are not clearly posted so pay attention. They guy will give you a menu of sorts the size of a business card with several options.... He is a salesman and he will rattle off the ambiguous benefits of each package with excitement commensurate to the cost of each package. I am sure that if you drove up in a spotless Ferrari he would recommend a full detail package. Unprepared for the sell, I stared at him and then squinted at the card. "Karma Shine I think.." I said... "I want the exterior detailed" .... he smiled warmly and seemed pleased despite my halfhearted selection. He "threw in" a free interior cleaning.... The interior clean would give the leather more "pop" he said.... "Do you want it?" .. "Uh... sure.. it's free right?".. "Yes sir" he said, as if I had asked a stupid question. I wasn't entirely convinced .. I handed him my keys and said ..."make it so" ... "it will be $69 dollars sir" he said.. ... I strolled over to to the Metro Bistro for some lunch. The one thing I don't want to do when having my car washed is sit around in the hot sun waiting. This place is near at least 4 places where you can get a cup of coffee or have lunch. They have some cool lawn chair recliners and umbrellas facing the wash area. You can even have a beer. I had a pretty good burger and fries and my car was done in about 50 minutes. The odd thing was I never saw anyone wax the car (in the traditional way) .. Perhaps they used a new wax method which does not require hand waxing and buffing... I don't know. The car was spotless and the paint was smooth and shinny. I was satisfied if not somewhat puzzled. I paid my $69 bucks to a foul unpleasant 40ish woman who was working the cash register stand. "Would you like to include a tip with your charge" she said without looking up. "What?" I said ... (I did not hear her ... perhaps because she didn't bother to speak in my direction) .. "Would you like to include a tip with your charge!" she said 4 octaves higher.. "Yeah sure" I said, fearing she would slap me across the face.. "How much?!" she said in the same loud voice... now staring at me.. (you get the idea)... I tipped well despite the car wash Nazi who punctuated my visit. In conclusion, the wash and "shine" treatment was expensive but the result seemed very good. I know I can get a very good wash and wax anywhere in Miami Dade for $40 - 45 bucks. The green thing is a plus as is the dining convenience. I'm willing to pay a little more. I recommend this place if you have the scratch. $17 for a basic wash is pricey. I wish they had an a la carte type selection.... They may have it but I didn't see it. Their website provides no insight. read more

These guys and gals do a KICK ASS job! I could not be more pleased. Yes the wait was a bit longer than they said it would be. I walked around the area a little bit then returned and sat watching as they worked on my car. Again, they were working on my car the whole time, it was not idle time, so after a while I thought maybe they had misunderstood me and I was going to be charged for a higher level of care than I had requested. When my car was done the guy told me that "it needed some lovin'" and that is why they took so long. It had been ages since I had cleaned it so he was right. For the Basic Wash and Leather Care it was $42.00 and it was worth every penny. Thanks guys and gals! You have a new customer for life. read more

My favorite carwash in ALL of Miami. They do such a great job here, the works are pleasant and the pricing is unbeatable! I got wind of Karma several months ago after my car collector buddy mentioned he only takes his cars to one place for a wash. I tried them out the following weekend and kissed him in the mouth the next time I saw him! The weekends they can get pretty busy, so add a good 25 mins to a normal wash but looking at the cool cars that come through or grabbing a bite a metro is a good distraction. I've never had a bad experience here and I don't think I will. Loves it... No more "ridin dirty" for this chick read more

one of my favorite spots in miami. i know your saying... "but it's a car wash?" no, it's an eco-friendly car wash & a cafe! super cute. tiny inside, but cool patio outside. the food's pretty tasty. i highly suggest the brie sandwich, my fav on the menu. but the real treat is their extensive beer menu. some really unusual stuff. as far as the car wash is concerned. it's exceptional. i smoke and pretty much use my car as a trash receptacle. it came out looking brand spanking new. and the guys who work there are awesome. read more

Absolutely the best service, the best atmosphere and the best car wash. If you have the time to take your car in for a spa treatment, this is the place to go. While the service is great they can be very busy, luckily theres a tapas restaurant on site (tapas and wine as you wait for your car???), dogma (hotdogs right next door), or Starbucks across the street to catch up on your latest read. I've tried several car wash locations from MiMo to Aventura and Karma is #1! After a St. Augustine road trip my car was in desperate need of a wash. I wanted a hand wash because of all the little dried insects from the road trip, etc. I was attended to promptly, had a great lunch at Organic Bites on the premises, and minutes after my lunch my car was ready. I was very pleased at the level of detail my car received. No streaks, no toxic cleaner smell, the interior was thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned and the exterior was dry. They even removed all the road trip debris from my front fender. I will definitely return. read more

$20 for an excellent job on a hand car wash (both the interior AND the exterior), while being eco-friendly at the same time? Can't beat that! Of course, with my luck, once I was ready to get my keys, a downpour started and I had to wait. Even though I drove through some puddles as a result, while getting home, my car has still remained very clean, to the point people think I just bought a new car! Great job, and even though my car was all wet with rain, they offered to dry it for me prior to driving off. I said no thanks, but that alone was impressive to me. I did not try the food at their restaurant, but there were plenty of people there, and they looked happy, so the food must be good. They need to do something about the flooding though, as half of the outdoor area was drowning within minutes, forcing people to have to continue their meal indoors. read more

I am new to the Miami area and had a had time finding a quality car wash. I stumbled upon Karma Car Wash and was very pleased. The staff was friendly and assisted me as soon as I pulled in. They pointed me to where I can sit and order lunch at the cafe if I wanted. The waiting area was very nice and relaxing. I got a basic interior and exterior wash. It took a while but they were paying attention to detail to make sure the inside of my car was clean. read more

I go out of my way for these guys. The service, efficiency, and quality are excellent. They have a large staff and everyone is super kind. Their clientele is no joke too... I used this spot about 2 months ago. I stopped in see if they could fix the horrible wax and buff I got at another business. I had a car full of deep swirl marks. These guys did a great hand wash and buffed out all the marks and left an amazing shine to my car. Money well spent!! Will be back for more washes!! read more

After parking for 5 days at Fast Park next to MIA airport, they failed to notify me that they are next to a cement factory which caked on cement to my car while I was out of town. Two other car wash places couldn't get the cement off my car. I thought I would need a complete paint job so I gave it 1 last shot at Karma. They got it all off and my car looks fantastic!
