My first time was with Michele, and I loved hearing her story and passion about creating a talented and calm space for her art. She is compassionate and great at serving her clients! Loved my hair after! It's really a wonderful, clean, and serene spot. The last two times I was with Ali, and I loved my hair each time! As a busy stay at home mom, I usually only get my hair done once in a while so having it look good for the long term is a must. The first time around I specifically came in bc I was getting some family photos done for the holidays. I usually schedule my appointments very last minute bc of my busy schedule, so the people who have done my hair are: Dallas, Yeisly, and Jaden. They were very kind and nice to talk to. I called the store and made the appointment for 5:00 but asked if it was ok for us to show up early. The woman I spoke with changed the appointment to 4:45, but I told her I wasn't sure we'd be there quite that early, either. She said it was no problem. We arrived at the store at 4:50.As we walked in, I could tell there was an issue with an unhappy customer who had received a terrible haircut. The stylist (manager, maybe?) who was supposed to cut my son's hair (the bad haircut was a different stylist) spent 25 minutes trying to resolve that issue, then mocked the client after she left for a solid 5 minutes before turning to us to say quite rudely that she had a 5:15 and couldn't cut my son's hair because "we were late". At that point we'd been waiting for half an hour, so I'm not sure what our being 5 minutes late had to do with anything. Rude, unprofessional staff, I will never attempt to get a cut here again.

Not once has that happened with her because she takes her time. She also uses colored acrylic powders which I love so I can just have a quick clear gel coat added and it looks great! My favorite color is "p3" by Tammy Taylor (as seen in photo!) it's the perfect healthy, bright pink that I always wanted but could never achieve elsewhere. I've never had gel done before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect but she had a ton of colors to pick from. She even offered to do a glitter accent nail for me! And who says no to a glitter accent nail? I sure didn't. When it came to the pedicure part I didn't see an spa chair like they have in most nail salons. Thonnie directed me over to a comfy chair where the bottom pulled out and she showed me that they use disposable soaker tubs. Honestly, at first I thought, they aren't really set up for this sort of thing I guess? But the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea. You hear such horror stories about icky spa tubs and with this set up there's no worry! The plastic didn't change the experience what so ever. I can't speak to the hair stylists because I just got my nails done but I'm definitely considering booking my next hair cut there. Everyone was very nice and I LOVE my nails.

So, I just randomly chose Kenzie because she had a time that fit well with my schedule. And I'm really glad I did. I went in and explained what I wanted, I showed her pictures from back when I really enjoyed how my hair was cut. She then proceeded to wash and cut my hair. She then deliberately dried my hair so that she could continue to cut it while dry - which honestly I think it the best for my hair. Kenzie worked her magic while asking for input from me. I was able to tell her what I wanted and where I thought it needed some changes, and she was very open and responsive to that input. I really appreciated that. In the end, my hair is exactly the way I wanted it, and I am VERY VERY happy. I will definitely be coming back to Kenzie at Ritual Salon!
