I'm visiting from Cali and had broke my banger and was devasted! Walked down the street and found them and the young lady with the blue eyes helped us out and had a great attitude and very helpful! After coming back to our spot I realized my cap didn't fit the banger and called in and Nat wouldn't hesitation was willing to exchange it for us! Went back in and had great customer service from Nat! Would absolutely recommend visiting this if you want great prices and service! Anytime I'm in Maryland they will be my go to shop! Hands down best place to buy premium rolling tobacco. If you want the Amsterdam shag or the Danish,Turkish,Norwegian Exports Karmic Connection slings 'em for $5/oz. BAM! Love it. They seem to sell a boat load of the fake dub sacks too because every time I'm in there I'm waiting behind someone scoring some K2 or other legal weeds. Staff was super rude and short with me the whole time. Refused to let me see different pipes or even point me into the direction of something in my price range. They don't take cards for anything under 10 dollars, which is kind of frustrating, but understandable for a business. If they got some friendly people in the front, I would definitely go back because the selection is pretty diverse. Just don't expect to get a straight answer on price(s). read more

Nice selection of tie-dye, batik and other clothing items. Half of the store is devoted to hookah pipes and, uh, "paraphenalia", so if you have a moral or legal objection to that, this isn't your place to be. They're not allowed to tell you where to get K2 (it's now illegal or well on the way to being so), so I wouldn't bother asking them (though I'm sure that on the down-low, it's a different story). This place has the hugest, laziest tabby kitteh in town. It was perched (more like splayed out) on top of one of the glass counters and I would swear on my life that this animal weighed 30 pounds. It was actually sort of creepy in a way because that cat never moved - it just stared at me like it was stoned. Be warned - the incense smell is overpowering. If you didn't know you were in a head shop when you walked in (and you should, it screams obvious), you will once you get a whiff. Whoo! I'd come back for some of the tie-dye. That stuff is awesome. Note: parking is still not good in this area and it can get a little dicey at night, so be prepared. read more

This review is for the amazing staff member who walked me through my purchase, step by step. He recommended filters, the pipe, let me see if everything would fit in the case (one I'd already purchased from them), told me about a bunch of different pipes I could get and explained how they work. He didn't rush through anything and I was more than satisfied with the whole experience. I would have given this store an awesome rating based on their selection (although they only provide one type of menthol tobacco) and UBER customer service I received yesterday. However, I couldn't recall a price I received in the store yesterday for a certain item (cigarette filters) and wanted to be reminded of it. So, I called a few moments ago and the rep wouldn't verify the price over the phone. I don't get it. It's just cigarettes w/ a filter. Nothing leaning towards a fine line of purchasing something shunned upon or illegal. So, now I've got to go all the way back there just to verify a price. That sucks big time. read more

Hesus is worth the trip alone, best bodega cat ever. He has cauliflower ear which makes me believe he is an old school, seasoned, rough and tumble cat. He is completely chill though and loves a good rubdown and tell you with his loud, low-pitched purr. I feel like I see Hesus more than my own friends (what does that say about me?) read more

A new "head shop" in Hampden. I think it's the only one! Hard to notice from the street (a good thing?!) since it's downstairs from another row home store but if you're walking, just keep an eye out for the sign. You walk down a few steps and there it is. Nice little shop and very helpful staff. One owner (?) talked our ears off about and was obviously very passionate about what he was selling. Very nice experience. Huge selection of pieces. I have been to Karmic Connection on numerous visits. I absolutely love this place. It just doesn't get any better than this. Especially with price and selection. My most recent visit to Karmic Connection, I brought my b/f up with me. He doesn't get off until 6-630pm at night. We come from Waldorf, MD. Well we raced up there.. got there by 730, they closed at 8pm on this night I think. They let us look at everything. Answered all our questions we had, especially for the CBD products. The young man, was VERY knowledgeable and knveryew an answer, to basically every question we had on the products. I also bought a steam roller, and a silicone container for concentrates. VERY VERY reasonably priced. Will be returning very soon. read more
