This place was just not good. You are better off eating in the street than here. We only came to get some drinks and appetizers. The drinks came and I asked the waiter to get me a thicker straw. He said they don't have none. Meanwhile they use the thin coffee ones. I could not slurp my blended drink through that. Moving onto the food. The queso fundido was basically one big chunk of cheese stuck together. It was basically ripping cheese apart. That's not how queso fundido should be. We got some aguachiles , the shrimps were extremely dirty. The aguachile green sauce tasted like lime and water. I do not recommend this place. They need to fix many things. The wife and I stopped at this restaurant after finding it on Yelp. Right from the get-go we were impressed, the staff was friendly, we loved how the restaurant was decorated and its cleanliness, they had pleasant music in the background and great vibes were given. I went with Fajitas Mixtas and the wife went with the Sopa de Tortilla and Enchiladas Rojas and everything was delicious! The handmade tortillas, chiles toreados and cold beer just made the perfect combination with our plates. Portions were generous, the service was excellent, well maintained establishment and I'm looking forward to the next time we are around this part of town to try something else on the menu. The restaurant itself is small but very cute and well decorated, they have indoor seating and a small outdoor patio as well... We went during the week so it was not to busy, they sat us right away... Our server was very friendly and helpful... He recommended we try the Carne en su juego, so we did along with a fish Baja style taco, a shrimp baja style taco, a Cafe de Olla and fresh squeezed orange juice... The Cafe de Olla and orange juice were very good, the orange juice was fresh and just right... Everything we ordered was very tasty and the food was brought out fast... Went there on a Wednesday around 3 PM. Parking was not an issue because they had valet parking. There were only a few customers so we were seated immediately. Our waiter was very attentive, came by a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. My friend had the tortilla soup which was huge and delicious. I had the house specialty, carne en su jugo, which was also delicious. It came with a side of beans, and a small cup of meat broth that was so good l wish it were larger :) We had a very good experience, and hope to return again soon. read more

They start you with some tostadas and Jugo or Consomme which is really divine. But then I order the Queso fundido which also came with flour or corn tortillas. I was dipping my queso and tortilla into my consomme and I was done. or so I thought, then the waiter brings me this brilliant bowl of Karnes en su Jugo and I just could not, I wanted to very much so but my stomach would not allow. It's seriously super high quality for VERY affordable price. We had 2 huge meals (molcajete and carne en su jugo) and appetizer (queso fundido with chorizo), a beer, a fresh juice, 2 little soups, grilled veggies, beans, tortillas and lots of leftovers to take home...all that for $40!
