The wife and I stopped at this restaurant after finding it on Yelp. Right from the get-go we were impressed, the staff was friendly, we loved how the restaurant was decorated and its cleanliness, they had pleasant music in the background and great vibes were given. I went with Fajitas Mixtas and the wife went with the Sopa de Tortilla and Enchiladas Rojas and everything was delicious! The handmade tortillas, chiles toreados and cold beer just made the perfect combination with our plates. Portions were generous, the service was excellent, well maintained establishment and I'm looking forward to the next time we are around this part of town to try something else on the menu. This place definitely makes it on my list of best places to eat in TJ!

Guacamole, 2 steak Arrachera tacos & beans, guacamole, onion & salsa,& big tortillas house made 5/5 , Lengua en Salsa Verde plate came filled with salsa & lengua with 6 lg tortilas 4/5 Papas frites. Drinks were great I had Limonada con Mineral agua very refreshing. And sprites. The only thing was they had the door open an the flies came to brother. But luckily we were leaving. Everything was less than $40 for 3 of us

Came to this cute little restaurant after a dentist appointment... My mom has been here several times already and wanted me to try it... The restaurant itself is small but very cute and well decorated, they have indoor seating and a small outdoor patio as well... We went during the week so it was not to busy, they sat us right away... Our server was very friendly and helpful... He recommended we try the Carne en su juego, so we did along with a fish Baja style taco, a shrimp baja style taco, a Cafe de Olla and fresh squeezed orange juice... The Cafe de Olla and orange juice were very good, the orange juice was fresh and just right... Everything we ordered was very tasty and the food was brought out fast... We really enjoyed this cute little restaurant, the ambience is great, we will definitely be coming back on our next dentist visit to trip some more of their amazing dishes...

If you're near the border in Tijuana and need a good restaurant to dine, Karnes en su Jugo is a solid 4 stars. It's fast and friendly service and the food is decent Mexican food. Their decorations are hip and urban style. There's some street parking but depending on the time of day you're there, parking could be an issue. It's super close to the border so it's your last good restaurant before heading back to the USA.

What really sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service, the staff is welcoming, attentive, and treats every customer really nicely. It came highly recommended by both locals and fellow food lovers, and after seeing the incredible reviews, we knew we had to experience it for ourselves. We ordered a little bit of everything: tacos de tripa, tacos al pastor, tacos de asada, and an asada quesadilla. Every single item was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The tripas were perfectly crispy without being greasy, the al pastor was juicy, well-seasoned, and had that classic balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, and the asada was tender with a delicious char-grilled flavor. The asada quesadilla was generously filled with meat and gooey melted cheese, making it the perfect complement to the tacos. One thing I really appreciated was how convenient the ordering process is. They have a drive-through style setup where you simply pull up and park in front of the restaurant. An employee comes directly to your car to take your order, and once your food is ready, they bring it right out to you. It's such an easy and efficient experience, especially if you're eager to grab amazing food and get back on the road. It's easy to see why this place has earned such a stellar reputation. Between the authentic flavors, generous portions, friendly service, and convenient setup, this was the perfect way to kick off our trip into Mexico. I'll definitely be making this a tradition every time I cross the border.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.
