Delicious, consistent, and very friendly service. Always get el patron which has the lengua. So tender and delicious. Carne asada quesadilla is amazing too! Lots of seating inside, does get a bit busy on weekends.

One of the best places for Menudo in Tijuana. Hand made tortillas a must! The service is a hit or miss, nothing horrible. They do get very busy on the weekends, patience is advised. Don't forget to try their cafe de la olla... yummy!

Tangy, fresh and delicious. Chilaquiles verdes with arrachera

Hell yeah. It isn't cheap but it was yum. It was full but they're efficient and I sat down within 5 minutes. The service was friendly and fast. I had a drink within 5 minutes of sitting down so I say they provide service commensurate to the US. I had the menudo of course, a chico which was perfect because I felt like eggs. I also had chilaquiles verdes with arrachera and over easy eggs. The arrachera was perfect, the sauce was tangy and the eggs were perfectly runny. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 because the potatoes on my plate were cold and the eggs could have been warmer.

Mini menudo, limonada and green chilaquiles

Food was great here, I had the mini menudo which was perfect for me, husband had the green chilaquiles with steak and the kids had quesadillas with chocolate milk which they loved. The limonade was perfect, not too sweet. The service was amazing, our server was very friendly. The ambiance was relaxed, family vibes, restroom was clean.

Look at the salsas! It's all dried up and half full! The onions have salas on them! I A M SOOOOO GROOOOOssed out!! Looks like they just refilled it and put it on all the tables for the next customers!! Menudo was so gamy!! Seems like it was not cleaned very well! Would never never come here again Additionally the salsa bowl, onion bowl, cilantro bowl etc r soooo sticky to the touch!! I didn't touch my food!

Yummy menudo place right across the border in Tijuana! I came in and tried their menudo and it was so yummy. The broth was rich and flavorful. Not to spicy but if you do like spice they give you dried chili and salsa to add. They also gave us a whole avocado at no extra charge! I highly recommend coming to this restaurant, and trying out their menudo. The service is also great, we came on a Saturday morning around 9am and it was not too busy at all.

    No toilet paper!!!

We have been eating at Menuderia Guadalajara since 2007, not at this location. Our first time here and I can say food is the same quality *so good!!! We had menudo, and to drink coke *but the glass bottle!! Way better lol The only issue was the service, not so great. The girl didnt quite pay attention to our order and we had to repeat ourselves. How hard? 2 menudos *big and 2 cokes, oh and a quesadilla which I never got *we weren't charged but it was on the original order note. We had to ask for lemons, spoons, avocado and the tortillas... usually in other locations, all that is brought before our food. Oh! And only 1 lemon lol, tiny one and a tiny avocado...When she brought our ticket, she made a mistake and charged for 1 menudo only so she had to redo ticket. Not very efficient, when place wasnt even that busy. I won't be coming here again, I will stick to our original place which is in otay. Almost forgot:bathroom was dirty and I was LUCKY to have the last 4 sheets of toilet paper lol *PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON BATHROOM CLEANLINESS TOO, NOT ONLY EATING AREA!!

    Mixed red menudo

This restaurant is a chain and they all do a great job. Their menudo is always delicious, they start by bringing out all the garnishes including chips and salsa and also avocado wedges, the "cafe de oya" is delicious, I ordered the "mixed" red menudo which has a mixture of meats, they bring you fresh hand made tortillas, I also need to mention that after you order, you get your food in about 5 minutes- the server was very attentive, Resturant is nicely decorated and casual. They also sell their famous menudo in a can so you can take some home.

Menudo con las calliente tortillas tan Bueno.

Found this place, thanks to Yelp…read more We crossed over to droop off my parents and wanted a place that served food but that we could sit down and talk. We had a 15 minute wait before we were sat at our table. As soon as we sat down, we had coffee cups ready and regular coffee or Cafe de olla ready to be served. Our Server was amazing. He made sure we were comfortable, and asked if we had any questions on the menu. We ordered the queso fundido to start, chilaquiles and tamales everything was great! I can't wait to go back and try the lunch/dinner menu. The place was very busy but the place was filled with good vibes and great energy.

I had someone call from our hotel and we got right in and there was a line outside. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is all great. Their breakfast goes from American eggs and bacon with the best potatoes to wonderful burrito type breakfast items. Their menudo is great and they have great Mexican meats as well. Lunch and dinner is about the same. They make Mexican style fish and steak that is just perfect every time. All of their Mexican dishes are just wonderful. You can't go wrong. They even have bottled water--never drink the water there, just don't. They have the best rice and beans. The service is great. They make you feel right at home and even if you don't speak Spanish, most speak English and you will figure it out because they will help you. The prices are fair for what you get. At dinner I consider it fine dining. It is all good and you will be happy. The place is also clean and super comfortable.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.

They have their own designated parking, which is nice, as sometimes parking may be an issue in town. The parking attendant welcomes you and lets you know where to park. You are immediately greeted when you walk in. I typically visit for a late lunch. The restaurant has a cozy feel. The staff are attentive and friendly. The presentation of the food is nice and it tastes good. Some of the dishes that I have tried are: Tarahumara (portobello omelet), Xitomatl (entomatadas), Huichol (chilaquiles con cecina), Mulli (mole Oaxaqueño), Teotihuacán (chilaquiles con chorizo y huevo), and Coyoltzin (puntas de filete). My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make. Overall, a great place to have breakfast or lunch with friends and family.
