We ordered mac daddy, it was very good just wish it was more creamy vs watery. Broccoli and cheddar soup was very good, its more blended vs chunky. The service here was outstanding! Alison was amazing letting us know how the restaurant works, their popular Ciders (she even let us taste them before making a decision on which one to choose. Their ciders are made fresh on the establishment and you can actually buy a jar of your favorite one. (They are seasonal most of them so they constantly keep changing). The meatloaf was in one word AMAZING. And the pork sandwich had a lot of flavor and certainly a great pair for the apple pie cider. The vibe in this place was really chill! However they do host a Lot of events on March. And after 9pm you need to be 21 years or older. I see myself visiting this place again! read more

Searched using Yelp for bbq that's around an hour or less away from the homestead because it was an absolutely perfect day and wanted to get out and drive and enjoy the scenery! Located just outside lovely downtown Wilmington and seems like plenty of street parking around but you may end up with a short walk to get back tots storefront! Walkjng up to storefront we realized they have live music and the band was fantastic. We walked in, the menus are in a stand right inside. Grab one, study and decide what sounds good then walk up to the bar and they take your order there. We ordered two flights of hard cider, well because they have eight flavors and we wanted to try all of them. They prepare drinks for you as you order so no waiting for these. The food order takes a bit and they announce thru overhead and send you a text when your food order is ready. The hard ciders are quite the gamut of flavors with some being fantastic and some being a bit of a punch to the flavor buds! My favorite was the Monkey Business! We left this one as a dessert for post dinner... and mercy, the three meat dinner including brisket, pulled pork and a spicy smoked sausage. All were incredible! Not your normal just salt and pepper bark. They use some added seasonings that went very well together. Soooo good. The jalapeño mac&cheese was tasty as well? Will we go back? Ummmm, absolutely! Support the local mom and pops people! We actually met the owners(Michelle and Jason?) while we're were there which was sweet! Nice hard working folks! This was our first time to Tincap. It was really good. My wife and I both had the Briskit platter. It was really good. Decent amount of brisket, coleslaw was good as were the green beans. I ordered a beer and after I was drinking it the waitress came over and wasn't sure she poured me the right one so she brought me another. Very thoughtful. Good people and good food. I have been here a couple times and both times I've had a great experience. If you like hard ciders, this is the place for you. Large establishment and plenty of choices. Most of the ciders are 6.9% ABV and the apple pie cider is probably the best that I have ever had. On this trip I tried their brisket. They specialize in barbecue. The brisket was tender and one of the top two or three that I have had. They do not have their own sauce so they supply you with Sweet baby Ray's packets for the sandwich if you require that. I also had their coleslaw and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was amazing. It had a jalapeño flavor to it. They also offer live music several days a week during the summer and they have a very large patio. Highly recommend the trip out to Wilmington to visit this place. read more

The feel and atmosphere in this restaurant is just phenomenal and made me feel comfortable from the first step in the door. You order your food at the counter and they bring it to you if they aren't too busy or you grab it and go back to your table. The pulled pork wrap was tender and so tasty. I added more bbq sauce for my taste and o yes I would definitely order it again. All the bbq is smoked. The Macdaddy is pulled pork with green chili Mac and cheese. Let's just say, WOW!! These two were a perfect combination together. A hint of spice with the bbq was just great. The portion sizes seemed small at first but I was so wrong. They were perfect and the right amount because I was full and content after eating. Now the hard cider, has a crisp and just smooth flavor. It wasn't too tart and didn't hurt the stomach like we've experienced before. The slaw was great. The spinach artichoke dip was different from what I've actually ever had. It was a cold dip. Loved the atmosphere here! Outdoor fire pit (shaped like a mini VW bus) , games, and swings. Indoor tables, full bar, multiple levels and space for live music. This place just feels like somewhere I want to hang out. Charm for days and thoughtfully laid out. It was decorated for Halloween when we visited and it just made it that much better. I wasn't a huge fan of most of their ciders but the blackberry was ok. They do have a wide selection of local beers on tap though and a full bar. I will be back! read more

After traveling from Columbus to hike at cesar creek we made the tiniest detour to stop at tincap winery. While we didn't see any wine there was tons of cider, and it was all delicious. They had about 8 to choose from, plus other beer on tap, and two types of slushees. I had sour pear (tasted like a sweet tart) and a spicy mango that were both great. My friend had peach and blackberry and loved them both. We also shared a pink lemonade slushie, but I thought it tasted like disinfectant (she liked it though). Also super delicious was the pizza! I'm not a huge pizza fan, but since this was all they had, we got it, and I loooooved it! Super saucy and great. Beautiful patio that my dog enjoyed, and super friendly staff, I will definitely make a stop here again in the Future! read more

The ciders were cold and good but the food was terrible. I ordered the chicken BBQ hawaiian panini that was dry with a slice of canned pineapple on toasted white bread. They need to look up the definition of paining. I would drink there but get food elsewhere. read more

What attracted us was the music they piping out into the street. . I really love the atmosphere of this place, it's a casual grab a menu pick a seat and order at the bar. There is a lower level with a few tables when you walk in the door then the main floor area and then an upstairs where I'm assuming the live entertainment takes place. The food was tasty. Dean got the turkey wrap and coleslaw and I opted for the meat parfait! You wouldn't think there's a whole lot of food in that little parfait cup but I dumped it on the plate and oh my goodness the hubby had to help me finish it. We were in the area and looking for a place to stop. Yelp did not disappoint! Very clean. Cool vibe. Staff was very friendly and offered complimentary tastings. We tried several, but both decided on the Cherry Chili Pie Cider (and we rarely agree on our beverages). Sounds weird, but so good. We ended up taking a growler home. This is a neat joint with some great ciders to boot. While Cider Boys will always remain my favorite cider company, Tincap has some quiet tasty offerings. I tried seven of their eight ciders, the standard is delish (really they all were), and the sour pear was something different, but in a good way, like a pear jolly rancher. Blackberry, peach, and pineapple all had subtle hints of those flavors. The joint is a neat setting as well. Rustic with lots of wood and atmosphere. Tons of room with an upstairs and a large patio to boot. I had a cheese pizza which was not bad. A bit like a Cassanos without the ton of oregano. The owners were both there and very friendly folks. My wife is a huge cider fan, but a lot of times bars will say "we don't have any cider, but we have a fruity beer." Imagine our surprise (genuine) when we found a CIDER tap room 15 min from our house. And wow... the cider is amazing! From Mad Mango to Irish Twig they're rich and tasty. My wife likes the blackberry and signature cider (TinCap). And that's just the cider... we haven't even mentioned the atmosphere, the rustic nature of flights and seating and the intentional seating for community. They boast a fire pit and a a giant jenga board! The owners are knowledgeable and incredibly kind as they greet and and inform. Excellent!!! Amazing service and environment. Huge perk is they're kid friendly. Our kids enjoyed playing NES, shuffleboard, dominoes, and Scrabble. Drinks were delicious. Loved the pineapple cider and pineapple sunrise cocktail. Food was delicious as well. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves and had a great time. Can't explain how happy I am that this establishment exists in Wimington of all places. I stopped in for a growler to go early one afternoon and they let us sample several ciders before deciding. I got the blackberry, which was amazing and had the perfect sweetness level. The Labradoodle who greeted us was just a bonus. Well. I don't care for cider, but they had a couple of IPA's, which I do like. My partner found a cider she liked well enough, so we decided to stay and eat. We ordered a pizza with onions, mushrooms and pepperoni. Onions and mushrooms were sparse at best. Asked for it to be well done. I was told that the oven was such that pizzas came out close to well done anyway. They don't. Had we ordered a pepperoni pizza, it would have been ok. But an onion or a mushroom every three pieces or so? (Not cool, unless we weren't charged for that, which we were. Statewide mandate for masks? Not here. Many people who walked in had no mask. The staff more or less did, but several people came and went without face coverings. Yes, masks are a pain. I don't want to get sick, nor do I want my partner to become ill. It's not a violation of anyone's rights, Constitutional or otherwise. It is a fairly good indicator of selfish/obtuse individuals, however. Anyway. This is a must try for an awesome local hard cider that could be a nationwide hit! They have a very cozy atmosphere, the owners are inviting, and the cider varieties are plentiful. Sometimes the lineup changes, but some common flavors are the blackberry and Jack's Mad Mango. The first one is a little sweeter, the latter one is mildly spicy and is a surprisingly awesome flavor! If you are lucky you might find Cid Hop'in, a slightly drier lightly hopped cider, it's tasty! A benefit to tasting on site is the fresh fruit added to the cider.
