Chao follows the idea of a perfect picture - I mean he makes sure that the dress looks equally beautiful on both sides, takes time to improve the posing and surroundings. Even though our photosession took a bit longer, he never mentioned extra minutes. During the photosession he was gentle and patient (you imagine how nervous the bride gets on that day! :-)) Also Chao sends you a couple of samples on the second day after the wedding, so you can see how they come out. I even asked for an extra one, and he was kind to send it to me. The quality is perfect! One of the BEST decisions that we made for our June 2018 wedding was to book Alex and Jay. From the initial Skype interview, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, working with Idalia Photography was seamless and effortless. Alex was beyond friendly and professional throughout all of our communications by email and she was always available, flexible, and thorough every step of the way. On our wedding day, Alex and Jay worked seamlessly together and knew each other's every next move... I guess that's one benefit of a wife and husband team! They blended into the background most of the time, but also stepped up to give direction for certain shots and helped us to stay within our schedule as needed. Both Alex and Jay worked smoothly with our other vendors (if there were any issues- we didn't know about them!). They worked outside through temperature in the 90s without complaint or hesitation... and did everything possible to get the "best shot"... including laughing off when I accidently soaked Jay with my celebratory champagne spray (and still managed to capture the shot somehow!). I happened to find this company online because I was looking for a male and female duo to shoot our wedding. I wanted the male and female perspective and Alex, and her husband Jay, were just that! A duo who shoots weddings! Alex does have other team members too but for our wedding they were exactly what we wanted. We did an engagement photo shoot with them and had so much fun! The pictures were gorgeous and we felt like they really captured the essence of us. They were with us every step of the process, they are hands on and so committed and passionate about their business. It was truly great working with them. After finishing our beers, we journeyed across the street and were greeted by the lovely Lovina. After seeing the work and meeting her we were impressed, but she insisted we make an appointment to come back and meet John so we could get a better feel for the company as a whole. She was very helpful and up-front about availability and pricing, so after we set our date two weeks later I contacted them immediately to set up an appointment. John and Lovina worked around my schedule and met us late on a Thursday night since I commute in and out of the city and they were busy on the weekends with weddings. They spent over an hour and a half talking through our wedding ideas, learning about our venue, getting to know our personalities and showing us various examples of their work. Never once did we feel rushed or pressured in any way. My fiance hates posing and pushy photographers he's dealt with in the past for friend's weddings. When we let John know this, he was quick to explain that he will do only what we want and he is fast with the posed family shots, bridal party, etc. We were so impressed with them that we booked them the next day and are taking them with us to Wilmington, Delaware next April! She did an amazing job!…read more Before our proposal, I talked her through the plan and she made sure to ask me about every detail so she was sure she knew what I wanted. On proposal day, she worked with my friend to make sure that the area was perfect and set up very nice for the proposal! She captured all of the moments perfectly with a very keen eye for detail! She even brought some awesome props too. She got everything done in a very timely manner and was patient when some of our friends wanted to take some extra pictures. The price was reasonable and it included 3 photographers for our whole day (ended up being close to a 10 hour day for them), a photo booth at our reception, all the digitals of the pictures, and a coffee table book. They also do video, but we opted out of that. The photos they take are superb and the edited images were amazing. I think we had around 2000 photos and the owner edited them and had them to us within 6 weeks. We also were given the rights to all those photos so we could share them with family and friends. On the wedding day, they were punctual, got all the shots we wanted, and made sure we didn't get off track. The owner, Mou, made sure to keep our families under control so that we could get the shots we wanted. Never did it seem like they were running their own agenda. They were always on our agenda and time-line. Mou's brother and husband were also taking photos while getting ready, during the ceremony, and reception and both of them did great. Bottom line is, if you want a photographer that will take amazing photos, listen to your needs, and provide amazing customer service (they always answered calls and emails within a day or so) go with PhotosMadeEz.
