My husband spotted this place while he was on his way to work. I was thankful as it was very close to my home. I decided to get my eyebrows done. There is one lady who does the eyebrows/upperlip. I was impressed with her speed, but she compromises with the finishing. Sometimes I find myself having different brow shapes. So you need to tell her to finish it properly. This advice is for people whose brows are hard to get a proper shape. Unfortunately mine is one of them. Even upper lips need to be carefully observed and asked to be neatly done as this grows faster. I find myself visiting her more often as the eyebrow/upperlip grows faster. Never ever ever going here again in my life. $5 for threading? It's cheap for a reason :( My cousin referred me here after I moved back to the area and wanted to find a new eyebrow person. The first time I went, the woman working gave me uneven brows and lots of cuts. I decided to give it a second try since I figured she may have been new. But no. I had a different woman this time but this time, she completely shaved off the top of my right eyebrow, gave me cuts under my eyebrow, and barely threaded my left eyebrow! I had to tell her to fix my left eyebrow and she kept saying it was fine. Safe to say I left with uneven eyebrows once again. I went for a third time, hoping it would do the charm. I left with thin lines instead of eyebrows after specifically asking the woman to keep them thick and to "clean up" the area very lightly. They do not listen here, they do not care here. It's like a factory conveyor belt system. And i'm sure they have lots of business because of the "cheap prices" here. You literally get what you pay for. Never ever coming again. I tried...i really tried. One star because the price matches what they offer. But if you are picky about your eyebrows, this is not the place to go. read more

I know a $5 threading job sounds kind of sketchy, but this place is legit! Went with a friend (very hesitantly) about a month and a half ago to try it out. My friend and I were both impressed. I love getting my eyebrows threaded here. I used to go to a place in Fremont that I LOVED, but it was too far. At Kash it's not only closer, but almost ten dollars cheaper. You really have to tell the girl what you are looking for and what YOU WANT....if not, they will thread your eyebrow how *they think* is best. Five bucks for threading is a deal, and a better deal when it's done right. I usually go during the day, so like when they open to about 2 pm-there are not that many people there waiting. In the late afternoon it gets pretty busy-the most I have waited around that time is over half hour :( read more

I will most likely not be coming back here. I decided to try this place out because it is $5 for eyebrows and it is really close to my house. The people working there are really nice but I didn't like how my eyebrows came out and I had to tell the lady to tweeze the short hairs. My usual lady (not kash fabrics) tweezes the crap out of my eyebrows after she threads and it comes out so clean, she also does a quick massage and aloe vera the the area, all for $5. Disappointing that kash fabrics doesn't do any of these things. Just wipes before and after with a tissue. Looks like I'm going to have to continue to go my usual lady, a 20 minute drive away. I'm giving 3 stars for the price, the kindness for the employees, and my eyebrows weren't HORRIBLE. read more

I went in for an eyebrow threading and i LOVED the results. I have naturally thin brows and thought I shouldn't thread them but i'm glad i got them done because she shaped them really well. The price is great. I am use to paying 10-15 for threading, so this is a really nice deal. The thing is, I still have to tweeze when I get home to get rid of the stray hairs, and I've definitely had better shaping, especially given I hadn't gotten it threaded in over two months so there was a lot to work with. I've been here 2 times now. They do a great job, but it's not the best. But for $5, it is definitely worth it!! However, they do charge a $1 fee for using credit card. The 1st time I went was on Christmas Eve and there was probably 25 girls ahead of me and 3 ladies threading. I even fell asleep in my chair for 15 min and still waited another 20 min. Just giving everyone a heads up of how busy it can get during the holidays. While waiting, I noticed that most people preferred the older lady I believe her name is Surinda. I have never written a review on yelp before but my nightmarish experience at Kash Fabrics spurred me to write one. We went to this store to get a small alteration done. The lady at the store charged an exorbitant $10 for this minor stitching job and asked us to pick up the piece of cloth in a couple of days. When we went to pick it up, to our shock, we found that their so called 'stitching specialist' had torn up the cloth in two places and argued with us that the cloth was already damaged when we took it in...this after she had reviewed with us the alteration that was needed. It does not end here....the owner had the nerve to tell us that she doesn't need our $10 after she has already ruined a piece of cloth that was worth at least $100!!!!!!! They do a good job for $5. Like most places if you don't want thin barely there eyebrows you do have to be specific. Different girls working every time I come in and for the most part I've had good experiences. Just let them know beforehand if you want to keep your brows on the thicker side so they don't go thread happy. It's clean and everyone is really nice from the moment you walk in. $5 eyebrow threading. Cashier is really nice. She said the ladies who do the threading have trained in India for at least three years. Also they do the least painless way because of experience. I am pretty satisfied with how they did. Of course it still hurts since its threading, but I was surprised how much less painful it was than other places I've tried in San Diego. They have a constant flow of customers and it's also done pretty quickly. There's a parking lot in the back and you pay the cashier in the fabric store after your eyebrows are done. My mom and I went to buy fabric for her dress, they were helpful until they realized they don't have the color we want, then all of a sudden then stopped answering our questions.
