I've been here a couple times for eye brow threading. I naturally have thick eyebrows with a nice shape, so I really don't need much, just a clean up. However, every time I went I've noticed that the clean up itself is done messy, the shape is resined, and it's much more painful than other places I've gone to. Additionally, I was left with bleeding scars around my eyebrow, I don't mind it much because I know in a couple days they will heal. However, since the shape and look of the threading was not up to par I was really disappointed to have both pain, scabs, and a result I didn't like. The vibe of the place is nice though: very calm music and the workers are very kind. read more

I was driving on my way to get ice cream when I saw the big "Threads" sign and decided to make a u-turn to get my brows done instead lol. There were a couple people ahead and 1-2 ladies working, so I had to wait a while. I didn't mind much since they really took their time with each customer. When it was my turn, I expressed how I felt like my brows were uneven and how I didn't want them to be too thin. I ended up loving how my brows turned out, and I'm usually pretty nit-picky. Came in without making an appointment and I was not disappointed!!!! It is a laid back beauty salon with seating inside. They were playing relaxing ambient music which was nice. I got my eyebrows threaded and upper lip waxed. I asked her to shape and clean my brows since its been forever. It hurt like a b**** (it always does) but she did a quick job and massaged some aloe lotion on my face at the end. It felt so relaxing that it made me want to get a facial next time i stop here. She also threads very gently and never leaves cuts or scarring like other places that i've been to. It is also a very calm space to relax while getting services done. I feel awful writing this review. But something needs to be changed. I used to come here in 2016 when pooja (the original owner) and a few other ladies worked here and I enjoyed it. Then when the business got sold it took some time to adjust, and me and my mom started to go to sarmila, who is a customer favorite. I have been going back to sarmila since three months ago and todays service really saddened me, i don't know why but she is alwayssss rushing. And I don't feel like she takes the time to really acknowledge your growth, what shape you want, etc. everything just gives fast food service. And I don't like that. I think sarmila is a nice lady and the service is always friendly but after today she left me pretty beat up, with small chunks of skin MISSING from my eyelid as well as the outer corner of my eye. Not even exaggerating, it stung to wash my face. I think this team of ladies should take their time on their clients and make sure that they don't get hurt or anything... this would be my second time too i leave with small cuts near my eyebrows. The older lady messed up my full face wax and got wax all over my neck. It left me with a rash since it wasn't suppose to be that low to begin with. She was unavailable today, so the older lady did my brows (I am not super particular about my brows, just easier to occasionally get cleaned up. Have been to many different places and people and have actually never had any significant issues, so tend to trust most). Once the previous clients finished, I took a seat and requested a full-face service for myself and eyebrow service for my daughter. The attendant asked if I could wait while she served the woman who arrived after us who didn't have an appointment like us. I exited the chair, and suggested to my daughter that we leave due to the perceived rudeness. As we departed, the lady inquired about our reason for leaving, to which I explained that we arrived before the other woman. The attendant then followed us and requested that we return, stating that the other woman had given her permission. Her customer service is top notch very friendly and she makes sure your satisfied with her work. I will defiantly come back because I really liked the way my eyebrows came out. They are so busy over here and yet if you call to ask when you can come they still say that they can accommodate you. You show up and there are 5 people waiting ahead of you. this has happened to me twice and when I'm there I've seen them answer the call and tell others to come in as well. They need to start saying no or offering proper appointments to avoid a negative customer experience of waiting over 40 minutes. read more

I came to this salon as I was tired driving to Fremont to see one of the more popular eyebrow artists who does the most amazing job, but the commute was annoying. I did my research of best eyebrow threading salon in my area, and Pooja's came up. I am so glad I found this place. I come in and get full facial, eyebrows, tint all for a decent price, and it's always perfect, and as I like it. They always leave my eyebrows thick, and they are growing out beautiful. Came here because I didn't have time to drive to Santa Clara to my usual lady. It was nice being helped so quickly and the girl was so nice. But she cut both my eyelids really bad. Several times. And there was a lot of irritation on my skin. Not sure what material their thread is but it's definitely not cotton, it felt incredibly sharp on my skin. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and never felt so much discomfort.
