Sharan's was first or second on my list, and since it was on my way home, I decided to check them out. They were easy to find, and as soon as I walked in, someone greeted me and had me sit down. It was around 5 p.m., so the evening rush had not started yet. Once I was seated, Yasleen came over and asked if I was getting a cleanup. I told her that was all I needed, and she got started. The service was quick and NOT painful, which was great! I really appreciated how efficient she was. I was in and out within 10 minutes and thankfully missed the evening rush. Horrible will never come back here it was my first and last! Came to do eyebrows and sideburns . My eyebrows looked so small and chunky at the end. I am someone who prefers the elongated eyebrow look with an arch because I have wide almond middle eastern eyes. I literally looked like a crazy woman afterwards. Made my eye shape look small and round with the shape she gave me. Then when she did my sideburns I had hairs remaining on my cheekbones and she said that's separate than the "sideburns" and would be an additional charge for "cheeks" then, when most eyebrow salons clean what's on your cheekbones and side burns to down where your chin meets!! She only did a small portion on the side of my face. On top of that my total was $27. $12 for eyebrows & $14 for sideburns for LITERALLY WHAT?! Like sideburns is $12 and up , I'm confused why she added $2 more if she did barely anything and couldn't remove what was on my cheekbones by the side of my eyes. On top of that a $1 debit card fee at checkout. Complete total scam rip off omg! Very disappointed will never be back. There's wonderful brow places like arch brow salon or Shiva in Fremont that do amazing jobs. Wish I would've gone to either but I was just far in distance today to make it in time before those places close. Expensive and ugly BOTCHED EYEBROWS EWW. This was my go to place and today I went there to get my eyebrows and lips done. I don't request anyone because everyone has done such a good job before but today she cut my eye brow and lips! I took a shower when I got home and noticed it stung under water so upon closer inspection I notice cuts. I just called Sharan Threading and they just told me to put ointment. No apology or anything. Please look into who did my appointment today and train her again. Very happy with this place. I plan on returning when it's time. They allow walk-ins for eyebrow threading... that's the only service I wanted so I can't speak for anything else. The wait was very short. There were 2-3 people ahead of me and all I had to do was sign in and wait a little bit. Room is very big and spacious, clean, lighting is nice, and sofa was comfortable. Even though they were fast I liked my results, and it seemed like to me the people ahead of me walked away happy too. It wasn't painful, which was something I was worried about. Person was very friendly towards me. It was my first time, but she made me feel confident. I'll post before and after :) I like how clean but still natural looking it is. I think it makes a huge difference they look so much better than before. I wish I knew their name all I can say is I was there Monday around 4:30-4:45 pm I think I just signed in as J. Hi - The owner Sharan is pretty rude and was not respectful. She commented on my outfit today and passed some rude comments. Not sure how long she's been living here in the US but I was unhappy with how she spoke to me today. I did not want to have a fight with her as I was with my daughter. The lady who helped me and my daughter was nice but the owner has a lot of pride in her. First and foremost is be nice, humble and welcoming so that customers return, I will never go back to this place again. I had never had threading done before and I'm not sure I would do it again because my skin broke out really badly. But if I did it again, I would come here because the ladies here are very professional and their prices are reasonable. If I ever came again, I would wash my face right before and right after the threading in the restroom at the salon itself. Then I would put Benzoyl peroxide pimple cream on my skin and moisturizer over that. I would continue keeping my face clean with benzyl peroxide on it twice a day for three days to avoid getting pimples. read more

Okay first of all, they did an AMAZING job on my eyebrows. I have thick eyebrows so it's easier to shape but i have to get them done often or else the hairs will grow. For a man to get his eyebrows done here is $2 more than woman's brows (which is fine) & you also have to wait because only one woman knows how to do men eyebrows so keep in mind that you will have to wait a little bit for her to be available, if you're a man. There is also a clipboard that you sign into when you first get there so you won't lose your place. Other than that, the atmosphere & the decor is beautiful. The chandeliers, the gems on the big floor mirrors, the music playing in the background feels like you're getting special treatment in a spa. No complaints about that! Little warning if you never had your eyebrows threaded before, it does hurt a little. But i have been to a couple of different threading boutiques & out of all of them, this place so far is a little gentler than others so that's a big plus! read more

Updated: so since the last review I am a regular at this place for waxing and occasionally threading when Sharan is available to do it herself. I tried their facial today and I am not only disappointed with the average service but also her staff's dishonesty. I signed up for their 1hr pearl facial. The staff only did the facial for 45 min but insisted it was an hour already. I confronted to her but she insisted that it was an hour. I had to pay $20 extra for the service I wasn't even provided with. I understand that it could have been a time-keeping mistake on her part but when it was pointed out to her she blatantly lied about it! That was very annoying. I've always gone to this place and have always liked their service. Today, I got an eyebrow threading and it was the most painful experience I've had in my entire life. The woman that was doing my threading pinched a lot of my skin and now its just super sensitive, red and bleeding on some areas. Edit: To answer your question it was the older lady with glasses. Here's an update of my skin a day after, its so painful and have I have tiny little scars from the pinching of my skin. This is just worse. Great service always. I have done threading, waxing, and facials here and all the workers are skilled, friendly, and helpful. Appointments are preferred for waxing and facials and it is easy to call and make the appointments. For threading, walkins are welcome. The salon is clean and comfortable. The one thing is that services are more expensive than some comparable salons. With respect to the location of the salon, plenty of parking available in the plaza. read more

That three people needed to assist with one person eyebrows also that they didn't even acknowledge me walking into their store and standing at their front desk looking right at them I would be very leery of going to a place where it takes three people to do. My first & last time here. I don't typically leave a review unless it's outstanding service , but this is the first time in years I feel compelled to leave my first negative review ever bc of how bad my experience was! The older lady with glasses did my brow and upper lip threading. I've never had anyone cut my eye before! She threaded my lash extension off and she didn't even apologize! Instead she argued with me and said her finger touched it and my lash fell off. Ummm no. I just had these new lash extensions done by my regular girl and it stays on well. I had also preemptively asked if she could apply moisturizing cream after since my skin is sensitive and she said "I'll see" now minutes after I'm writing this in the car bc of how livid I was and my upper lips is already developing a rash and bumpy from how harsh she did it. I still said thank you after she was done bc I'm nice but she didn't say a single word. I usually leave a smaller tip when the service is poor but her rudeness made me not tip for the first time ever in my 35 yrs of life! Terrible. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years all over California and I've never had such a terrible experience! My eyebrows were not even cleaned up evenly. So happy Sharan's recently re-opened!! Came here this past Fri, Oct 16th, for an eyebrow threading appointment, after having foregone any threading these past 8 months due to COVID. The boutique employees were very attentive to COVID safety protocols and social distancing, which helped put my mind at ease. At the bottom of this review, I've listed all the precautions they took. The young woman who threaded my eyebrows listened to my requests, was very patient, and took her time to carefully thread my brows. She was threading my brows using only her hands on the thread and no mouth (part of COVID protocol) which is a challenging feat!! She did a wonderful job and gave my brows the arch I wanted. Cost of threading has been raised a bit due to COVID-- it was $10 for my brows, which is still very good considering the quality of the work they did. See before and after pictures attached. Highly recommend this salon for eyebrow threading. Precautions that the salon has been taking against COVID: Must make an appointment to come in, must fill out a form answering COVID safety-related questions at the time of your appointment, only 2 clients allowed inside the salon at a time, option to get treatment outdoors is available, everyone must wear masks, customers' temperature gets taken, beauty technicians wear gloves and change them for each client, they use hand sanitizer on their gloved hands before threading your eyebrows, and they use only their hands to thread your eyebrows as opposed to putting the thread in their mouths. Visited this location twice since I've moved to this area, and my go to threader is back home which is a 40 minute drive. I needed to find another location instead of making the drive over there. The location is in a plaza, and parking is relatively easy to find. When walking in, I noticed that the interior is clean, and I appreciate of how the staff wears masks and gloves while working. The past two times that I've visited, I've only had to wait a couple of minutes before being seen. It took less than 10 minutes to get my eyebrows cleaned up, and I liked how the shape turned out. I also noticed that when I was done, my threader cleaned the chair that I was on for the next customer, which also adds to the cleanliness of the place. I finally returned today to get my eyebrows reshaped after the pandemic hit. This store is doing so well with covid precautions: they have a questionnaire, they have clean pens, they check your temperature, and sanitize between customers.
