When I left I got off the phone with the owner who called me to tell me they don't see the difference and my brows look better now. They called with a hostile tone. RUN AWAY! SCAMMER! NO WORK ETHICS! please read this before you buy any package! Wish i could give a 0 star review but it's not allowed Complaint has also been registered against the branch manager for scamming the customers like me and many others I have totally paid $822 and receiver only 7 sessions of hand and leg waxing + 9 sessions for eyebrows. She owes me remaining money but she REFUSED 1. They entice you to buy a package for 10 sessions sweetly, but if you do not keep a count on your session. They will cheat you. She added extra session for my waxing and later when I confronted she said its a human mistake. (screenshot attached) how is my $82 session is a human mistake mam? 2. I asked the owner to look into the system to check she denied saying System doesn't allow her (wow i never knew that the system doesn't allow the manager to check customer history. Funny part is when i asked another staff to look into it on my next visit she was able to SEE and CORRECT the error. She said it was mistakenly added. 3. The same owner later after days sent me a screenshot of my purchase history. How was it possible now? 4. She gives different answer at different time, she later told me over the text that i bought only 9 sessions and 10th was a compliment. When i asked her to transfer over to my friend she doesnt let me give my remaining 3 sessions. and on top of it she made me wasted both my friend and my time inspite of booking the slot online and texted and then showed up to the salon she casually said we have all slots booked until 6pm. but she never let me know over the text! 4. They mention their eye brows as $5 in their board but when u get it done it's $12. She told me that she was removing the board in 2022 december but the board is still there. Complete scammer. please read this before you buy a groupon. Groupon says the waxing packages can be bought by customers who have not been to the salon in 6 months. I had last gone in 2021 for eyebrow treading (not even waxing), so I purchased the waxing package. When I called to make the appointment, she said I couldn't use a Groupon as I was a repeat customer. I said that policy does not align with what the Groupon fine print said, she said it didn't matter, "This is our policy just fyi.". I asked how they assume their customers know that, since it does not say that anywhere on the groupon and she said "Please reach out to Groupon to have that conversation". She said she'd honour my Groupon rate, then proceeded to tell me a rate higher than my Groupon rate. She also said the charge for hair growth is higher than what's written on the Groupon (more than double). I wish I could give a 0-star review but it's not allowed. read more

I've been coming here since high school to get my eyebrows threaded. Everyone there is very kind, but I always have Mamta do my eyebrows. She makes it quick and painless and evens them out (they grow unevenly). I brought my aunt recently and she loves it just as much :) read more

I would've given the place a 1 star but the person who did the beauty service I came in for did a decent job. However, customer service at the salon leaves much to be desired. The person who texts is incredibly rude and un-customer-focused. I truly regretted getting the Groupon but was stuck and had to go in. She had even redeemed the Groupon before I got there, which is sneaky. Avoid it if you can. Added: Seeing the owner's response, all I can add is, " congratulations your approach will ensure that a customer you've trapped once via Groupon never comes back!" Horrible experience. The first time I went here, the manager made my eyebrows extremely thin even though I asked to keep the thickness and do a simple clean up, and I was very unhappy with the results. I went again a month ago and a new girl was there and she did a fantastic job last time, so today I specifically asked for her by name because I only trusted her to do my eyebrows well. I called in advance and she said she could do my appointment. I get there, and she is finishing up with another client and once I sit down in the chair, she says she has to leave and says the manager will be doing my eyebrows. I was already upset by this because I specifically asked for her and she left when it was my turn, which I thought was very unprofessional. I was hesitant because of my poor experience the last time with the manager, but specifically told her again to please keep the thickness of my brows and only do a clean up since this was the only time I could get them done this week. She completely cut my eyebrows in half and did a very sloppy job. My eyebrows both look different and are extremely thin, and there are patches missing from the front. Throughout the appointment, she was also extremely rude. I know they only take cash or debit, so I brought a $20 and she says she doesn't have change. She starts getting angry with me even though I was the 2nd customer of the day and she doesn't even have change to give me back. Why are you getting upset with the customer when you run a cash only business and don't have adequate change to provide? They also don't provide this information over the phone, I only knew they take cash/debit because I have been here before. Extremely disappointed in this place, very unprofessional business and not going back here again. Update: the owner just called me and instead of apologizing started yelling at me to tell me not to come back and getting extremely defensive, and then pawned the phone off to another staff member to apologize on her behalf. read more

I've been coming here since they opened years ago. They are knowledgeable about threading, waxing, and facials (probably the other services too). I would have given them at least 4 stars, but the management and operation of the business is horrible. They do not know anything about the pricing or specials. Don't bother getting a Groupon or other discounts. I've had the same experience as other posters -- they'll always give you some excuse to charge you regular price ($12-15 for eyebrows). In all the years I've gone there, I haven't seen a manager on site. I think the management has even changed over the years, but the problems have stayed the same. Another word of warning -- they're always looking to upsell their services. For example, you go in for threading, and they'll try to sell you on a facial and other skin services. This is a locally owned business and the women working here are kind and professional. I had underarms, legs, and Brazilian wax. The lady that did the waxing is the reason I will keep coming back : she is able to relieve the pain by applying pressure after ripping. And she did everything in 1 hour! She was an angel. 3.5 Stars because the lady waxing me is not perfect at waxing. She accidentally bruised my inner thigh by not holding the skin. To be honest, that's because I have thicker thighs than most. She only made that mistake on once. She also rips the strips a little sideways instead of with hair growth so I had her redo some places. Not a big deal. Trust me when I say WHO is waxing you is important. You want these ladies taking care of your delicate needs. Did I mention that they're very affordable? And kind :) read more

This is going to be a long review. Please bear with me. This salon was previously in Newpark mall and I took a package for 10 eyebrows + 10 upper lips. I paid close to $100. And then without any notice, they moved to this location, which is nearly a 20 min drive from my house. The owner of this store is EXTREMELY arrogant. The first time I went to this location , I told her there was no notice when they moved and she told me it was not her mistake or her problem. Today , unfortunately , she was present again when I went it and after going to this salon close to 3-4 times, I was told , there was no record of the fact that I had paid for the package. I was furious, but I politely sent her my bank statements and asked her for a refund. But she was adamant about not returning the money. Update: The owner just messaged me telling me not to come into the store since I posted this review (I wish I could attach a screenshot of the ). So I guess I am going to be losing $40 but never going back to this salon again! I was not happy with the service or the cheap product who gave me rash, bumps, ingrowns plus and I have legitimate reason (moving out of town) and asked nicely for my refund for a prepaid package they pushed to sell to me the day I went there. It's October 19 now and from August 3 when they charged me for service that was already paid for because of their incompetent system of tracking of services done, they still haven't refunded my money. Sent the below email Sunday and still have yet to receive any type of response even though I left my phone number. Fortunately Groupon handled it. Hello, My name is Shacoya. I would like a phone call from a manager/owner (who is above Debbie) regarding misinformation I received when I visited the Paseo Padre location. I am sending this email in case my in person request for a phone call gets lost amongst other tasks. I purchased a Groupon and used it on December 23. I saw the expiration date was January 19 so prior to getting services (and while I could still get a refund through Groupon) I inquired about this. There was no way to get 3 Brazilian waxes in less than a month. I spoke with Kajal and someone else, whose name I cannot remember, in person. They assured me that it was fine for me to get my 1st service and just to make sure I let them know it was for a Groupon when I booked my next 2 services and it had to be at the same location. Due to my schedule changing at work I was unable to come back to the same location because my days off switched to Monday and Tuesday when this location is closed. I had another schedule change at work and came in today and was told by Debbie that is not in fact true. She then told me I had to buy another package with your salon in order to use the ones I already purchased because she had to go by what Groupon put on my voucher which is that services must be used within 90 days. I showed her my voucher (I attached a screen shot) and no where on it did say anything about 90 days. Her response to this was "I don't know how Groupon works" and "I'm not breaking our contract with Groupon for one voucher. I'm not doing it." even though she clearly saw it does not say that on my voucher. I don't see how this is a breech of contract when my voucher does not say this and I also was not offered a credit for the value I paid even though that never expires. I am very displeased because had I been told this at the time I came in for the first service I could have easily requested a refund or at least had the choice of getting the service knowing the other 2 would not be an option. read more

Beware of their prices. Very sneakly-proced-business. I went to Arch Threading Fremont Lakes area: They charged $5 for eyebrow threading before which went upto $10 in covid for additional services on gloves etc. Now with no gloves, they are still high. Today they charged $12 for eyebrow thread, felt like i got ripped off, so now from $10 it went to $12. They have no explanation why something $5 is now $12 and keep saying "complain to our manager, not us". They keep pushing for membership but go on with sneaky price hikes. Dont take credit card and ask for cash/debit card. Also the board they hang doesnt have any proper pricing. Please treat your customers with respect and have proper prices and price hikes that are reasonable. Going to avoid it from now. Sumena I believe did my eyebrows, she was great super friendly and did my eyebrows perfectly and not too thin like other places. She is super light with her hands and I'd highly recommend her. UPDATE: I come here at least every three weeks and get waxed and threaded by Shilpa, she is AMAZING at what she does. She also taught me not to pluck between appointments because I was experiencing ingrown hair on my chin. My fave has never looked better! I also saved a lot of $ by buying their wax and thread packages. I promise you will not be disappointed!!! There motto is "We Wow Brows" and they really do, my brows have never looked this AMAZING! Great experience, I found this shop on yelp, called and they were able to fit me in. Debbie the owner was so nice, she even text me the address, what GREAT customer service! I explained to her I was looking for shop that I won't break out with threading, which I prefer, because waxing breaks down the elasticity of your skin when they pull the wax off. She explained that they use a specific technique (puts a specific oil on your skin first before applying the wax the prevents the pulling). The oil they use smells like Jasmine and the wax smells like CHOCOLATE!! Kajal was very sweet and gentle, she first threaded my brows ( them) and then waxed my full face, including my nose, which I never experienced before when getting my full face done, and then a nice facial massage to top off the experience. my way out I mentioned the fact that she waxed my nose and Debbie said that it takes out all of your blackheads, which totally made sense! It's a hit and miss with this salon. I got a groupon which included full legs, bikini line, and underarms waxing. In addition to the groupon I paid extra to get eyebrows done and waxing for my arms. I'm thoroughly disappointed. Positives: the person who greeted me (seems like the owner) was super sweet and nice. The lady who did my waxing was also very nice. I had an appointment but I arrived 30 mins before that hoping they would get me in sooner. I was taken in right at my appointment time. Negatives: I am growing my brows, so I asked for an eyebrow cleanup. ($5 for clean up and $7 for shaping). In my past 10 years of getting eyebrows done, when I say clean up and that I'm growing my brows they're careful and leave an extra line of hair. She went ahead and shaped my brows(didn't charge me for shaping though). I like my brows thick in the front and tapered at the ends. Now they're same thickness throughout and I absolutely hate them. Yes I could've said something there but you can't bring back threaded brows. So now I fill them in. Waxing negatives: obviously I'm gonna be in pain for a bikini wax. That doesn't mean you don't do a complete job. The wax wasn't applied in hair growth direction and was not pulled against hair growth. Which means my hair may grow back faster. The Biko line was not clean, my knee was completely missed. So I have hair in my knees. And hair was missed near my elbow. I will add a picture near my elbow for proof. And I know you may think I could've said something. I was in a rush and the reason I pay money to get it done outside is because they're professionals and I except nothing less. Just because I have a groupon doesn't mean you do a poor job. Because of this experience, I would never pay full price to get anything done there. Just to clarify groupons are sort of a trial situation. If the service is good that's when somebody would be willing to go back for a full price service. I had no privacy. Half the area has a see through curtain and the other half is ok. I can't imagine getting a Brazilian there with somebody walking by to grab supplies, which did happen during my wax.
