Just Do It. Seriously. I had my boudoir shoot 5 days after…read moreturning 44, and if I could tell every woman considering doing one thing, it would be this: Stop waiting for the "perfect" time. Just do it. You do not need to lose weight first. You do not need to have the "perfect" body. You do not need to fix anything. There will always be a reason to wait--and eventually you realize the perfect time was simply when you decided to celebrate yourself exactly as you are. Terri, Ashley and Shay were absolutely amazing! Ashley did my makeup and NAILED the dark, feminine smokey-eye look I wanted. I've done stage makeup before, so I'm comfortable with a pretty dramatic beat, but if you're not used to major glam, I'd recommend staying closer to a look you're comfortable with. A lingerie shoot is already pushing you outside your comfort zone--you don't necessarily need your makeup to do it too! ‍ Shay's hair work was phenomenal. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, but she explained why she was going to modify it slightly because she knew what my hair was about to go through during the shoot. Between the posing, movement, sheets, backdrops and all the tussling, my hair needed to LAST. And let me tell you...this woman did some JUJU. My hair lasted FOUR DAYS before I finally had to wash it! Terri is incredible behind the camera. She doesn't just expect you to magically know how to pose. She walks you through everything, helps position you, and makes the whole experience feel comfortable. She's also constantly checking in to make sure you're comfortable. And the sneak peeks?! Terri would show me the pictures as she was working and I'd be like, "Ohhhhhh...okay. I see what we're doing here!" I already knew my budget was in trouble. Shay also helped with backdrops, sheets and poses throughout the shoot, so it really felt like a whole team was invested in making the pictures amazing. A few tips for the ladies thinking about booking: Bring at least one outfit you're already comfortable in. I brought one of my own and used the rest from Terri's closet. She will also make suggestions on what may look better. Bring your own accessories if you have specific pieces you want incorporated. The available accessories were limited and most weren't really my style. Or ditch them all together remember you're the MAIN event. Don't feel like you need to tan. And please don't spend weeks trying to "fix" your body before your shoot. Come prepared to step outside your comfort zone. You're already doing a lingerie shoot! But there's a difference between being pushed in a fun way and feeling completely unlike yourself, so communicate what you're comfortable with. And finally... Be prepared to blow your budget. Because when you see the pictures and realize, "WAIT...THAT'S ME?!?" suddenly that original budget starts looking like a suggestion. But honestly, this wasn't just a photoshoot for me. It was an investment in myself. At 44, I didn't need to become a different version of myself to deserve beautiful pictures. I just needed to show up. So if you've been saying "I'll do it when I lose weight," "I'll do it when my body looks better," "I'll do it when I have more confidence," or "maybe next year..." Girl. Book the shoot. There may never be another "perfect" time. There is only this version of you, right now. ‍ And let me say Terri and her team make you feel incredible the entire time.

The space is spotless and beautifully set up, (WITH MULTIPLE backdrops and scenes for your photos) and you can tell he genuinely cares about creating a welcoming environment for his clients. Before we started, he walked me through everything and listened carefully to the vision I had for the shoot. Not once did I feel rushed or judged. He gave gentle guidance, made thoughtful suggestions, and helped bring out the best version of me. I never once felt awkward, which says a lot because being in front of a camera can be intimidating. His kindness and calm energy made the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable. His studio is so well prepared. There is a dedicated makeup room where clients can get ready in peace, as well as a full dressing room that honestly amazed me. He has an entire wardrobe of outfits that clients can use, including wedding gowns and even stunning traditional Asian dresses. It felt like stepping into a curated closet designed for every type of photoshoot. It just shows how much he thinks ahead and how committed he is to providing a full service experience. I am sad things still went how they did and I hope they learn for any future clients but I am glad they understood where we came from. I booked this as a DUO session for my and my best friend and I was super excited about it. I dmed the Instagram and talked about the theme and they even got dresses for us in the sizes we want and I thought everything was going to be great! They were really helpful with everything in the dms. The studio itself was a bit hard to find as their is no signage or anything outside. We came in and was led to the two make up artists who was going to help us for the shoot. My friend already sent some references pictures in the Instagram chat but apparently the makeup artists weren't in the chat so they didn't know what the photos were so she had to pull up the picture on hand. I wasn't aware that we needed references pictures, I wasn't told of how this makeup thing would go expect to come in with a bare face and washed hair. So it took me a while to find some pictures. The makeup artist I was working with seem a little annoyed that my phone wasn't working as the internet was slow and she just shoved me her phone with a Google search result of makeup already and I just picked one cause it seemed like she just wanted to move on. During the makeup session, my artist was kinda bossy, I understand it takes a lot of skill to do a look but her tone was not very nice and I didn't really enjoy the whole experience. The makeup came out nicely though so I will give her that. As for my friend she came prepared with a lot of photos and everything. But the makeup artist did not do her makeup Justice. Choosing a wrong color for her eyes and darkening everything. And for her hair her artist did not even do anything to it, while with mine they took the time to curl it and set it in a half ponytail. I felt really bad when I saw that they just left her hair mostly untouched. For the photoshoot itself. Michael was very nice and gave us lots of directions and breaks and told us how to pose and look and everything was really handled well during it. The studio itself was a bit hot as it had no AC and I was sweating a bit in the outfits. The sets they have was also very nice and fit the theme we wanted. They gave us props and everything as well. I did really enjoy that experience with getting our photos done. But afterwards, we waited a bit long to get our photos edited and I had to keep dming for an update. It would had be nice if they just updated us on their own. I understand they were busy and editing took time but to make me come asking more than twice was not a good look. The edited photos came out bit by bit and only mine came out first, which made my friend feel horrible like her photos didn't come out nicely as she already felt bad about her hair and makeup that day. This really saddened me to hear that she had a bad time and experience here because I booked this for a special day for us and she ended up with really bad image issues for weeks after. While I do like some of the photos it took a long time and lots of roughness to get here. For the future, I would like to see some changes and more structure on how things work with this studio. I know it is new but my friend should had not dealt with all that
