I got a philtrum piercing back in January by Jason, I went back 2x times to get full reassurance that it was done correctly and both times he never cared to put on some gloves to take an actual look like a REAL piercer would do but instead brushed me off. After 3 months of proper care it just wasn't healing so I started to ask around about it and was told by close friends that INK EM UP was the the place to check out to make sure it was properly pierced just to be told by rob that many people come from black sheep to get their piercings PROFESSIONALLY looked at because Jason refuses to admit nor acknowledge that he's done their piercings wrong. I've since then took it out and was left with a nice keloid. I really regret not going to ink em up in the first place because I know if I had it would've been done both correctly and healed by now. I've got no respect for this this place and its staff and neither should yall. GO TO INK EM UP!!!! You won't be disappointed, they have more experience in this business with both tattoos and piercings I regret not discovering them sooner because my money would've went to an actual piercer and not a random guy playing w needles and teenagers. read more

I was blown away by the friendly atmosphere. I reached out to the shop via Facebook and then went into the shop where I discussed my idea with Emily. Who then worked with me on a design, she was very helpful, patient, and created an amazing piece that I loved. I admire and love her work, cleanliness, and personality. She communicated with me through the whole process, kept reminding me that this is my body and if I had any questions or ideas to let her know. I will return with any future tattoo ideas and will recommend family and friends to reach out. My artist Becca Parks, is very knowledgeable about all types of tattoo styles, has a very light hand and reasonably priced. The shop is always tidy and the equipment looks fresh/clean at every station. Each tattoo artist is in a private room, so you don't feel like everyone walking by is watching you get tattooed. Hands down the best tattoo shop I've ever stepped foot in. Clean shop that always smells clean and of green soap(my favorite smell). Female owned shop which is pretty freaking awesome as well! The owner is super professional as well as all of their other artist. I was in there last weak speaking with both Caitlyn and Becca and they were both super sweet. They've also won best tattoo shop in town for 6 years straight! Now that's impressive! My buddy was being tattoo by their artist Clinton and he was so nice and professional and really understood my concept of the tattoo I wanted. I will recommend them every single time! I'm really disappointed in myself in NOT looking at these reviews. My peircer Jason, pierced my tongue. This was my third time getting it done so I'm very aware of the process: First, he didn't put any sort of tissue paper or bib on me or the seat I was sitting on. My tongue ended up bleeding a lot and getting all over my shirt. The worst part is he put a normal tongue ring in instead of the long ones you get at first so now my tongue is forming a crater under the ball!!!!!!! The guy was super nice but obviously seems very unprofessional!!!!! Even if it's my 3rd time getting it done, he should've also reminded me what the healing process was and directions in how to care for it. I reeeeallly REGRET going here. read more

I'd never waste my money at this shop again. Becca only does decent work on the tattoos she picks out. if she's not into it she doesn't give a crap. She couldn't even get a basic tattoo of the bat symbol right and her shading was atrocious. Save your money and go to a different shop. read more
