I looked up ahead of time to see if there was a location nearby and I was in luck. This is one of the shops inside the fashion outlets that do not have the same hours as the mall itself. They are one store that opens before the mall does and, from what I was told, one of the few that stays open after the closing times. I came in, and appeared to be the first customer of the day. They had a sale on the graphic tees. I grabbed two to get the deal and continued onto the clearance rack. I grabbed another shirt and headed to the registers. When I got to the register and she was a delight. She was very knowledgeable of the items they have in the store and about the general area. We chatted a bit about everything and anything. I even asked if there were any Columbia stores in the area I was heading to next. It was a refreshing take on shopping.

The outfits are always cute and usually on sale. Some shirts and onesies even have cute sayings on them to make the perfect and unique gift. The staff is wonderful. While shopping they are always helpful and informative. They even went above and beyond to solve my issue. This past visit, was for my 1 year old cousin's birthday. When I went to cash out, the register crashed as my credit card payment was completed. There was no receipt so they couldn't tell if the payment really completed or not. The manager came over and called the support team immediately to try and solve the issue. It took a while and the answer was never solved while there. I did have to cash out again, but she gave me information in case I was charged twice so I could be reimbursed with her name and store info on it. I noticed a few days later I was charged twice. The day I went to go back for my reimbursement, I double checked my account, and I saw they already discounted the second charge. Thank you so much for the great customer service!

After a morning of shopping in a last ditch effort to find shoes that would work for my Halloween costume but also be wearable in normal, everyday life, I didn't have high expectations going into Journeys on a whim I was approached by a store clerk. After I sheepishly explained my predicament, I expected her to say '"yeah, sorry, we don't have anything like that" and roll her eyes, but instead she told me she thought she had something that would work in the back. She reemerged with Converse high tops a size too small, but said they tend to be on the larger side, and she was right. Perfect fit. And on sale for $20. On sale! Bonus: they make me feel less like Sasquatch and more like Cinderella, which is quite a feat for what is essentially just sneakers (sneakers with a wedge, but still sneakers.)

Both times, we were a bit apprehensive since entering a male store as females can be met with remarks or an unwelcome vibe. Both times, we were extremely pleased and enjoyed our visit as we were served by Paula. Paula is a true gem! She made us both feel like we were in the right place, and she personally assisted my girlfriend in finding the correct sizes for a shirt, pants, and belt. Additionally, she gave tips on how to find the best value (for instance, buying a belt that has many holes so it can be worn throughout stages of weight loss). She gave recommendations on where to have the items tailored, provided personal anecdotes to make us feel comfortable, and acted as if we were VIPs in the shop. I can't speak for other employees, but I can highly vouch for the experience we had dealing with Paula.

I get a lot of shells/tanks to wear under cardigans for work, and sometimes can get some work pants, but only one of the style cuts works for me, so I am limited in my size. Pants, unless on clearance, can be pricey. Today, I got two long sleeved tops and a shell for $22! Style selection can vary. It goes from sometimes a ton of work wear, then they have a phase of more casual stuff. They do usually have a decent variety of most sizes. Pants go from 0 to 18, and tops XS - XL. Store is neat and organized. My job keeps me moving, so I have to wash my stuff frequently. I haven't had any problems with stuff fading,stretching out, or getting worn. It holds up great in the wash and from me jumping up and down at my job! I did have once instance when they were a pain with coupons. I get their emails and was told that the limitation on the bottom of "excludes all other offers" meant that it couldn't be used on ANYTHING that had any sort of sale, which is basically the whole store as most of these places mark everything up and then advertise a sale. So only the one rack of suit coats pretty much that were full price could be used. This was like only a 15% coupon, too. I did not have that issue before. I understand the super low "Final Sale" leftover clearance is exempt, but not sure what that supervisor's problem was. The clerk that was checking me out that day tried to run it through, but was apologetic. All sales people otherwise have been very helpful and accommodating, regardless if you are buying expensive suit sets or bargain items. Fitting room employees offer to grab you another size or style as needed. I have had their credit card (shares w/ LOFT, another Ann Taylor brand) only for a short time. Most of the deals seem to come with the full price store (which I just heard is closing at the Walden Galleria), but I'll keep coming here for good basic work wear!

However, when you see the prices of some of this trendy teenybopper stuff, you may "go postale." I was last in this store not too long ago after I heard that the food court here was closing down forever. I made 3 or 4 trips to my fave Greek place in the food court and then also did some shopping. This included picking up some Xmas gifts at places like Abercrombie and Aero. I find that this Aero is a little quieter than the Galleria one, and actually has a few more items in it, especially around holiday time. The guy helping me was very nice, he told me a few things I didn't know about sizes and such. Still, the prices were a little high for my tastes. That's what sucks about Xmas. You have to buy the stuff in time for the big day, then 2 weeks later, everything is on half price sale. Basically each of the Aero stores I've shopped at in Buffalo is the same. Galleria, Eastern Hills, and Boulevard. All are inside a mall. All have young employees and young clientele. All have "teeny attitude" and extremely inflated prices. But I won't lie, people look very good in their clothes. I even (blush) have some of their clothes myself, although I don't wear them anymore. I can totally see why other people do, though. Did you know an Aero is a chocolate bar in the UK? It's pretty good, too. I think Rowntree makes it. Or Mars.

The have some good collection and the sale was quite good. The on floor service and cashier service was friendly and good. There is plenty of parking and the mall has a food court once you are done with this store and are hungry.
