At the HotSpot event, I got to meet Don from PartyTO. He was an incredibly talented twist-balloon maker. I saw baby Yoda (Grogu) as a balloon design and knew that I had to get it. Don did a fantastic job creating the cutest balloon version of Grogu. He even added a bracelet strap so I could wear it like a corsage. It was awesome! At the Rouge River event, I met Yannick, who did my caricature. I haven't had many done of me in my life, but his version turned out great. He featured my big skull and bangs. He even noticed that my hair had reddish-purply colours that they ended up in the caricature, too. Both Don and Yannick completed their masterpieces in perhaps five minutes. They were super fast and efficient creating their works of art. I also enjoyed chatting with them and they didn't mind engaging as they twisted balloons and caricatures, respectively. Both love their craft and work at it full-time. PartyTO seems like the perfect vendor to hire for fun corporate events. I tend to plan events for my team at work. I contacted Michele via email in hopes that she could assist with working on a Jewelry Badge for my Girl Scouts troop. She called me the next day and we made a plan. Her work area is amazing, everything is in its place and she really takes pride in making old things new. Our girls spent an hour and a half in the studio and really enjoyed the experience. As a trained sculptor, she makes her work look easy, where I would have probably lost the tips of my fingers. Please see below the beautiful Girl Scout pins she made during our demo. The girls had a million and one questions and Michele answered them all with much care and patience. She also provided them and indirectly me, with great life advice.
