She barely uses 4 strips and we are done!! In and out under 15 min. She was also able to sell me microdermabrasion facial which I had not gotten it done as such before, I think that was the reason my face is not breakout free. I spoke with the receptionist about what I wanted and needed done, and she gave me a bunch of price options, directed me to the website for diagrams, and eventually we booked an appointment. Admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of waxing because sometimes it can hurt, so I don't get it done all that often. But, I felt comfortable walking in here and was impressed with the quaint lobby area with products for sale. I felt instantly relaxed and my wax lady was on time and ready to go, even with my bad nerves for this sort of thing. The process went a lot smoother then I expected and wasn't as painful as I remember. After she was done waxing a strip she immediately put soothing gel on my skin to keep the irritation and pain down. I have always wanted to know what was inside that building/house especially with that gorgeous curved front door. Passed it so many times on University. Parking was easy and nice to have designated parking spots for Bare Philosophy. Walked in and had no idea that you had to take your shoes off. We spoke a bit about eyebrow shape and how she likes to keep things natural/follow your natural shape. Can always take off more later if I wanted. I think my eye wax was all of five minutes. Trimming, a few strips of waxing, and then tweezing and that's it. Let me have a look in the mirror and I was happy for the most part. I should've asked to trim my eyebrows a little more. But overall content with the shape. I wish there was something to put on my skin afterwards to calm it down since I get red easily. Again, the whole process was super quick, didn't feel overly personalized with an eye brow shaping/waxing but the job got done. Went here for lip filler and Botox specials almost 2 years ago. I never left a review at the time,…read morebut now that I'm going to get filler and have to have everything dissolved and redone since it was so poorly placed and overfilled- Im more than a little annoyed and deciding to do so. The injector I went to ended up totally botching and unevenly placing my lip filler here. I reminded her multiple times at the consult that I didn't want the keyhole look because I saw she did that with some clients- she still gave me a keyhole (lol). Also, the top lip was bigger than the bottom and wayyy too much filler was placed on one side, so it was bigger than the other side and lumpy. She said this is how her clients "naturally swell" because of the technique she uses, and to give it a few weeks. After a few weeks, you can see in the picture that the upper left side on my lip was obviously still bigger than the right side. I went back to have it fixed and she ended up having to put more filler in the other side of my lip to even it out (yes I paid for another syringe to do this). When I mentioned how the top lip was still bigger than the bottom lip, she said that we would wait to put more in the bottom lip because she thought the top lip would even out to be proportionate as the swelling subsided (I still had half a syringe left). After a couple more weeks, I called to confirm that I wanted to come in and use the last half of my syringe that I had remaining to fill out the bottom lip to make it even since it was in fact NOT proportionate. The front desk told me that I had no remaining filler left. I reached out to the injector directly about this since she said I could come back, and she ignored me (lol). I don't mind that she messed up, we're all human and that's going to happen. I just didn't care for how instead of owning up to it, she kept gaslighting me saying it wasn't messed up and that it "looked good" and then acted like I was an inconvenience for coming in to get it fixed. Never once did I act rude or upset, and I tipped every time I went for injections and to get it fixed. (This is the first medspa that has also ever asked me to tip for Injectables). Overall, vibes were not good here and I would avoid if you're expecting professional & reliable treatment
