What a great park! Just moved here 3 months back from out of state. It was a 75 degree day and sunny in January so we had to go for a good walk with our dogs as the last few days were dreary and kind of cold. Enjoyed the trail which was mostly concrete and clean. There were many trash cans and several places where there is exercise equipment to use. The playground areas were clean and well cared for too. Great place for kids to play. Too bad there are still pet owners who don't clean up their pet's droppings. There really is no excuse not to pick it up as the park provides bags to use in many places around the park. Next time I will bring my pooper scooper and pick it up myself. I want this park to be the epitome of clean Mansfield parks.

Great park... The location was off a Main Street, but still nestled away to feel like an escape. The playground was big and had something for my youngest to my oldest. The trails were mediocre, as a visitor I didn't know where the trail led... One path led to dead ends, but it appeared like it was leading to more trail. While another path lead to looping the playground, not much for an interrupted run.

Beautiful park, plenty of paths, bikes and leashed puppies are welcome and there is so much greenery to look at. If you walk the complete perimeter, you might hit a few different smaller Mansfield parks. Paths are wide and accommodating. We have been when the path is fully occupied, or there's several cyclists, but it's pretty courteous here. This park is well maintained and there are several picnic areas at the front and benches throughout. The outer parks have some small picnic areas too. There are some petite waterways and stunning wildflowers that perk up the walk. Now it can get hot here so I'd bring water. I just can't express how much I love this park. I love parks that aren't completely flattened and still have some nature. Mansfield parks is doing something right-Elmer Oliver is another winner if you're in the area.

One of our new favorite parks!!! Good size playground for the kids to run around on and there are also several trails for a nice walk.

Nice park, they just dropped over 400 Rainbow Trouts in yesterday so that should make parking interesting.

There's an older kid side as well as a younger kid side and we've explored both while here. The couple of times we've visited during the daytime, it's never too crowded, which I like. We came for an evening play date once and there were certainly a lot more people, but my son still got to get on what he wanted without a wait. The park also has nice sand volleyball courts, basketball courts a small running trail and a nice sized little fishing pond. One of the best things is that the bathrooms are located in the center of everything so there's easy access and they are typically pretty clean as far as park bathrooms go. Definitely one of my favorites !

There are multiple activities to do at this park for a fun experience. They offer a children's playground with slides and swings as well as a playground for the smaller kids. They also have tennis courts and a sand volleyball court too!. There is a small fishing pond here with a pier where you can try your luck and cast your line. There are multiple pavilllions with BBQ grills scattered all throughout the park. In the park, they have a small skatepark where you can practice your latest tricks on your skateboard or roller blades. There is also a splash pad here too that is open to the public during the summer months. They provide a parking lot here with ample parking, so parking should never be an issue. When planning a birthday party here, reservations are not required, but is a first come, first serve basis. I haven't been over to the waterpark side of things yet, so I can only tell you about the side with the playground, swings, windy-walking path, and fields. It's nestled amongst residential streets and really feels very private despite being bordered by a nearby apartment complex. There's pretty good shade, too. The parking lot closest to the playground is tiny, but there are more spots near the waterpark which is only a short walk away. It might be helpful to note that there is limited seating. Maybe consider a picnic blanket if you're wanting to hang out awhile.

But we went to Howard Moore because she is almost 4 and the deepest this play pool goes to is 1.5 ft. So she got in free with her Swim Pass and I was only charged $2.50! I felt comfortable watching her from the side bc the lifeguards there actually do their jobs! Multiple times I saw the teenagers on duty remind kids to go up the slide using the steps, not crawling back up the tunnel, and to go down feet first after a small boy slid down head-first into a foot of water and struggled to stand up. Cheers to you, lifeguards! Because this pool is so perfect for younger kids, we shared it with 2-3 daycares during our first hour there, each with 8-12 kids, some big, some small. The lady sitting next to me gathered her 3 kids shortly after an older group arrived and explained to her son that, "It's time to go because your little sister got trampled 3 times in the last 5 mins." So be warned. Also their bathrooms are about what you'd expect from park bathrooms (dingy but useable) and the water was extremely cold. Nevertheless, it's a hidden haven of fun for a nominal fee. This first experience with the city's play pool gives me hope for all the others!
