    Hounds at Hawaiian Falls!
    Rachel R.

My puppy, Bailey, and I came here this afternoon for a special event: Hounds at Hawaiian Falls. We had a blast. It was so fun chasing my pup around and seeing the joy on her face exploring the water park. I swear she was smiling. Everyone was so friendly. The lifeguards were present and alert. And there were staff walking around picking up and cleaning up after a few dogs. That was a nice touch. Really nice. I was surprised at the door, when I arrived I handed them a $20 bill and was told that it was $25. I looked through all the advertisements when I got home and I was right, it was advertised for $20. This would not have been a big deal -- $5 extra bucks for a great cause. BUT -- the lockers inside cost $10. A little steep. So, it cost me $35 for the afternoon. All in all, I would definitely come back again in the future, especially for this event. However, I would skip the locker next time and maybe pay in advance so I knew the right cost upfront.

Good! It was fun, but the wait for the inflatable tubes is very long! Still highly recommend going with your family!

This place is great for ALL day fun. If you live here worth getting a season pass for $50. Didn't order food instead brought snacks and ate at Joes General store a mile or so down the road. They dont allow you to bring chick filla.

It's a pretty cool spot if you want to just get the family out the house and get in some water.

On our most recent visit, we arrived not long after opening and it wasnt packed at all. We left around 1:30 and it was picking up just a little bit more, but still not bad at all. The restrooms and showers were cleaned, which was awesome! And the pools were so refreshing in the triple-digit heat!

I wouldn't call myself a fan of water parks, but there's literally nothing else you can do outside…read morein the heat -- the only way to tolerate outdoor time is to be in the water! NRH2O isn't nearly as big as Hurricane Harbor, but I prefer it for several reasons. For one, there are quite a few trees and grassy areas all throughout the park, providing shade and cooler grounds and all around cooler, happier vibes. Plus, tickets and passes are more affordable, and perhaps most importantly (especially to anyone with special dietary needs): you're allowed to bring in your own food and drink. Of course there are limitations on ice chest size and you can't bring in glass containers or alcohol, but it's so nice to be able to pack your own snacks and drinks. Not in loose ice, though, that's another rule. Your ice has to be bagged up (we just use ice-packs). Employees check through your bags very thoroughly at the entrance. I haven't been on any of the bigger slides in years, I now stick to the kiddie-spaces or the lazy river. I was in the wave pool recently with my niece and didn't have as much fun as I remember having when I was younger, haha. The park overall is pretty clean and well-maintained. Nothing looks like it desperately needs refurbished or sanitized! There are I believe 3 different "restaurants" onsite and then a handful of drink and dessert stands. You can find aaaall of your theme park favorites: hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, fries, nachos, quesadillas, pizza, pretzels, cotton candy, chips, kettle corn, etc. There's also frozen lemonade, dippin' dots ice cream, and a churro food truck onsite! You'll have a great time at NRH2O if it's not ridiculously crowded and you're able to find yourself a little home-base with shade. You can reserve canopies and tables online, but they go fast!

I took the family (loving wife and two children) for surf lessons a little bit ago. The instructor, Danny, was late to our lesson and didn't really teach our kids how to surf. Instead he spent the majority of the time drawing pictures in the sand. The majority of the other staff seemed to reek of marijuana. This caused my wife great concern since these people are supposed to be in the water keeping the guests safe and instead were impaired! The photographer was incredibly rude and unhelpful, telling us to "Go online" when we asked to purchase the photos of our children's surf session. They did have a shop dog who was cute, until he urinated on the floor. The food staff were incredibly dismissive of my wife's order. Not to mention, the food was cold. I requested a refund due to the lackluster service and experience, however, they only credit. I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!
