I booked this hair and makeup artist last year for my August 2026 wedding and paid a deposit to secure my date. Everything seemed fine at the time of booking, but when I reached out in January to schedule my trial, I received no response. I followed up multiple times over the course of four months via email, text, and phone calls--ignored every time. My wedding planner also attempted to contact her on my behalf, with no success. At this point, it is clear this is not a case of a missed message or temporary delay--Yessie ghosted me as a client. Because of this, I was forced to find and book a new hair and makeup artist under time pressure, adding unnecessary stress during what is already a busy planning period. To make matters worse, I never received my deposit back. For other future brides out there, please do not let Yessie scam you. Taking a client's deposit and then completely disappearing without any communication or services rendered is unacceptable.

I honestly wish I had never gone to Studio H Salon…read more In October 2025, I trusted Mariah, a senior stylist, with my first-ever hair color experience. My hair was completely virgin. I had never dyed, highlighted, or bleached it before, and that is exactly why I was so careful. I showed her a clear inspiration photo, asked if the look could be achieved, and trusted her when she told me it could. The result was not even close. The back of my hair stayed extremely dark while warm/golden pieces were added, especially around the front. It was completely different from the soft, blended dimensional brunette I had dreamed of. What frustrates me the most is that this appointment did not just disappoint me for a few days. More than 10 months later, I am STILL dealing with it. Permanent color was put on my virgin hair, and now I keep going to consultations hoping someone can finally FIX my hair and give me the hair I originally wanted, only to be told that my previous color makes everything much more difficult. Some stylists have even declined to work on my hair and told me I may need to wait for more of it to grow out. I had a consultation before the appointment and was never told that the result would require multiple sessions. Only after I was unhappy was I told that what I wanted could not realistically be achieved in one session. If I had known that beforehand, I would never have agreed to permanently color my virgin hair. The salon refunded $322 of the $362 charge after I raised my concerns, and I appreciate that, but a refund cannot give me my virgin hair back. There genuinely has not been a day that I haven't regretted this appointment. Hair might seem like "just hair" to some people, but for me this has been something I have had to look at and live with every single day for almost a year. I walked into that salon excited for my first color experience, and I left with something I am still trying to fix today. I wish more than anything that I had never done it.
