Who needs water when you've got fire kathi rolls ;) I wasn't expecting much for food diversity around a tourist attraction like the falls but this place blew me away. We got the Papdi chaat $9, Aloo kathi $8 and chana kathi $8. They were all absolutely amazing, my only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the owner forgot our order, and only realized after we asked again 30 min later :( otherwise super friendly. Well we decided to pick up a few items from the food truck parked in the street leading to Niagara Falls park. We had a paneer roll, a chicken roll with egg , dosa and a mango lassi. We really enjoyed the paneer and iI enjoyed the mango lassi. Overall it was the food experience we were wanting. Service was good and they only take cash or credit card no Apple pay. Chicken kathi roll and paneer kathi roll - 5/5 Got both with eggs inside. The paratha/roti/outer cover was perfect. Chicken and paneer fillings were good. It's a little skimpy on the size and amount of meat for $10 roll but its a touristy spotnso I guess expected. Samosa chat - 4/5 Tasty but I think would've been better if the chana/chole masala was hot. Overall definitely recommend trying the kathi roll here. Kathi rolls are one of my favorite street foods of India and I love how this place does justice to them better than anyone else in Buffalo. I found this place by chance as I was taking some guests around for a visit to the Falls. We walked around the 'Old falls Rd' full of food trucks and this place caught our eye. I got the 'Egg chana roll' (fried egg and chickpeas in a rolled tandoori roti) the first time and thought it was very well made and made a mental note to try the others things next time I'm around. I was around the falls again recently and tried their 'Egg Paneer roll' and it blew my mind. The paneer was marinated to perfection and every bite was so flavorful. Even my Turkish friend loved it to bits and we came back an hour later to get another one (each). A one and a half roll would in my opinion count as a good meal so if you have company, maybe get 3 between 2 people. They were maintaining the hygiene standard quite well. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves and you are required to wear a mask while ordering too. Yelp for some reason reported that it is closed, but I checked with them and they are open between 11 am to 9 pm as of August 3, 20. There's no doubt that I'm coming back to grab more kathi rolls every time I'm around the falls. Mini review for a mini food truck. The rolls are delish, but they are snack size. I am a small eater these days, but one roll would not be a full meal for me. At about $6-7 a piece, you'd probably want 2 rolls. Or, you can get one roll here and some complementary curries from the Dosa Hut around the corner. #protip I had the paneer egg kathi roll and enjoyed it a lot. Hubby had chicken egg kathi and also liked it. I had waited all week for the truck to open, the hours on Yelp are not even close to accurate. We were there all week and it was only open on the weekends. They were out of the rose falooda advertised on the truck (which is why I had been so jonesing to go there...) but I did get a mango lassi instead and it was a REALLY good lassi. My daughter, who is your classic "picky eater" loved the chicken roll. The wrap was crispy and sweet while the fillings were savory with a great blend of spices. The Masala tea, aka Chai tea was very tasty after 2 packs of sugar. At the time, Kathi (I'm assuming that's her name) was the only one working, so it took a little bit to get our order, but she was super friendly and it was all worth the wait. Day 2 Review: I revisited this place yesterday once again and ordered the Aloo and Chole rolls for my wife and the chicken and Paneer egg roll for myself. Paneer was fresh this time and much better marinated with the egg rolls. Very juicy. Chicken wrap as usual melts in the mouth I don't prefer aloo (mashed potato) in my stuffing. I went to order and was told they were waiting on rice and to come back. I came back and was told they were working on a large order and to wait. I waited. I ordered matar paneer with rice. The server handed me the food in an aluminum pan with a few napkins underneath. I wasn't expecting to receive the hot pan in my hands so the exchange of the hot pan burning my hand caused me to tilt the pan and the liquid from the food dripped onto my shirt. I am hopeful the stain will come out of my favorite shirt. Now for the food, I was expecting delicious after all I had experienced but it was far from it. It was a runny mess with no flavor. If you're looking for a quick, tasty, vegan snack before or after visiting Niagara Falls, come to the Kathi Roll truck. Kathi rolls aren't super easy to find in the US, but are basically Indian burritos. The channa roll ($5) was great and consists of a flaky, moist flour shell filled with spiced chickpeas. It's vegan by default according to the owner. The aloo roll ($5) is also pretty good, but I think the channa tasted better. The potato in this one was starchy and made things blander. The aloo roll is the only other vegan kathi roll option. The truck also has some vegan curries. There was no sign or anything to inform customers when they would return so we were very disappointed. This place was amazing! It's a food truck located in the heart of the American side of Niagara Falls. It definitely is one of the busier sites and has many customers. The owner takes 1-2 orders at a time and prepares them within minutes. We tried the paneer kathi roll and the chicken kathi roll. They were absolutely delicious! They had the perfect amount of flavor. I would definitely go back. The only thing that I would say is a downside is it's somewhat overpriced. Each kathi roll was 9.99 and was smaller than I expected.
