    Loaded Fries

Awesome restaurant, especially in this tourist district where most food is overpriced. This place had delicious food, wonderful service and was nice enough to stay and enjoy that atmosphere for awhile as well. We left the restaurant stuffed and the cost of the meal was completely reasonable -- and way under the surrounding prices. Since all the food was very good to great, you really can't go wrong. The Loaded Fries were absolutely amazing --so frikkin delicious. Don't know what they put in them but wow, they tasted better than they looked and they looked pretty great. One of my regrets was we didn't make it back to the restaurant to order them again! We were a little hesitant go based on the other reviews on yelp --but as far as I could tell, they were written by the local competition as this place nailed our meal. Check this place out and definitely order the fries as they were beyond perfect.

Saag paneer, lamb and curry dishes.

Some of the best Indian food I've had. The dishes had a good heat to them, not too spicy, and were seasoned well. The meat was tender and not overcooked. Good size portions. My only minor complaint is that we ordered five different dishes - saag paneer, two lamb dishes, and two chicken dishes, and nothing was labeled. I really enjoyed one of the lamb dishes and would like to order again but I'm not sure which one it was as all sauces were similar color. We got takeout and it was ready on time. The restaurant looked clean and was nice inside. A nice break from the burger and fry / American restaurants that are abundant on Clifton Hill.

Ha ha... I found out why they skipped the gratuity... it had already been included in the bill!

Had my anniversary dinner at Moksha. Food is amazing and service is great. Guy at the counter who served us food was really nice and he was good in making tasty cocktails. I am surprised too see this place has such low rating. Food- Great Prices- Reasonable Service- Fast

A separate vegan menu is available upon request (September 2018).

There's ample selection of Indian food in Niagara Falls (Ontario or New York), but Moksha stands out for a single reason: it has a separate vegan menu available on request. We started with the vegetable pakora (C$7) and liked it. It's savory, has a great lentil breading texture and comes with a a spicy green dipping sauce. The methi aloo (C$15) was pretty good, but comes in a small portion. That said, it seems like most restaurants on the Canadian side of the Falls give you less food. What's interesting about this dish is the ample use of fenugreek (methi) which I don't see as often as I'd like in Indian restaurants. The kalongi bengan (C$16) was also good, with nicely roasted eggplant. I didn't like the raisins in it, though. Lastly, we also had a mashed mango cocktail (C$10), which we modified to have soda instead of Sprite. It was delicious---refreshing, light and creative. The service here is friendly and the decor and ambiance are much classier than most restaurants in Niagara Falls, which seem to be either dive-y or bar-and-grill tourist traps.

Chicken and Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala with Naan, Papad and Rice.

The appetizer (Paneer Tikka) was amazing! I also always order Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala at every Indian restaurant because it's one of my favorite things. They knocked it out of the park and it was delicious. We also ordered two biryanis, the chicken and the lamb. It felt like it was missing some salt and that fried onion taste that usually comes in Biryani. Wouldn't recommend getting it if you're used to eating a lot of Biryani in your life. The place is really nicely decorated and is perfect for a nice get together. Most of the other Indian restaurants in the area aren't really aesthetically pleasing or decorated for things like a birthday dinner. Most of them are carry out or casual dine in and not that special inside. This place had hanging lanterns, wall art and their waiters even wear orange traditional Kurta outfits. The cons: Other than the disappointing biryani, our service was almost nonexistent. Had to flag down a server and they all hang around in a group and when they approach your table, it's like they all come at once.

Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

Of course it is more expensive to eat here now, but still worth it! Delicious food, especially the appetizers. She had the chicken and I had their new mushroom pasta as mains. Very good. Boyfriend had a Caesar salad and some steak - I think it was a striploin - he didn't care that much for the steak which was a bit tough. He would definitely stick with the filet mignon next time. Great restaurant and absolutely one of the better dining options in Niagara Falls. Also 18+ so no children running around, and great atmosphere. Beautiful fireplace. I kept reading the hype about Sweet Jesus so on my last visit through Niagara Falls, the hubby and…read moreI decided to stop and get a sweet treat. Our consensus was that this place is definitely over-hyped. Neither of us was a fan of the ice cream here, and it's one of our favorite desserts. It has a weird consistency that doesn't even taste all that creamy, and the plain vanilla has zero flavor. The ice cream had a very light and fluffy texture that was unappealing, sort of like Cool Whip versus real whipped cream. I prefer my ice cream very thick and creamy. The flavor comes from the toppings, which were also a little bit boring. There are lots of weird sounding flavor combinations that they call "cone builds" that have sauces and toppings that are over the top, but we opted for a cone with cookie crumbs and cookie dough for me, and Oreo for him. The cookie crumbs were very stale and the cookie dough just tasted like regular old cookie dough topping, nothing special. I also thought the ice cream shop was very dirty. It didn't seem very clean or sanitary and if that sort of thing bothers you'd I'd recommend skipping this place. The toppings were falling all over the counter, which was an absolutely gross mess, and our cones were given to us already dripping and sticky (yuck). The prices are high but then again, that's to be expected since this location is right on the main tourist drag in Niagara Falls. It's right at the end of the street by the falls, so you can walk over and eat your ice cream and look at the water. We paid like $22 CAD for two mediocre ice cream cones. This is a one and done place for me for sure.

A Bit of a Letdown This Time Around…read more We've had Sweet Jesus before--mostly at mall locations--and we've usually really enjoyed it. But this time around on Clifton Hill, it just didn't wow us. We went with milkshakes: I got the Birthday Cake, and my wife got the Mango. Hers was okay, but my Birthday Cake shake was super underwhelming. It was way too liquid-y, the cake bits had an odd texture, and the overall flavour was just bland. Normally Sweet Jesus is known for bold, indulgent treats, but this one fell flat. Also the cardboard straws are TERRIBLE. Broke a couple just trying to get them through the plastic lid. The location didn't help either--Clifton Hill has gotten way more crowded than it used to be, and this spot became chaotic pretty fast. Might've just been an off visit, but based on this experience, we'd probably stick to the mall locations next time.

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault.
