In the midst of purchasing a new car hours from my home, I realized I mistakenly brought the wrong insurance documentation with me. Since I can't find where to reply to my replies..The company just replied to my review by saying "most companies don't contact you to remind you to pay your bills" I guess most companies also don't read their reviews. I clearing stated that I set up auto payments on multiple accounts and they simply wouldn't pull payments out. Sorry Kathy I don't need your hand holding to remind me of crap. Just do your end. Don't have to worry about me though I'm never working with any state farm again. I literally found myself begging for these unprofessional people to take my payments on the proper schedule agreed apon. Find my self paying fees after fee with the DMV because state farm drops people for not paying, go figure. Why because somehow they lose information or the ability to draw out scheduled and pre set up auto payments. So either this is some odd conspiracy way to make extra cash or these incompetent people don't know what they are doing. Please go anywhere or anyone for insurance. We had a tire blowout on a highway yesterday. I panicked! Then I remembered Kathy telling me about State Farm's Emergency Roadside Assistance which I have on my policy. We called and they were fantastic. A tow truck came very quickly, the driver was so nice and the Rep. in the call center was professional and helpful. So after my insurance just lowered even more for safe driving i decided its time i write about how amazing Kathy Shultze office is and the amazing service i have gotten from my original agent Judith Duran. Its now been about 4-5 years that i have been with my agent Judith and every time i have a question all i need to do is call their office and ask for Judith and in a matter of seconds she is on the phone always with a polite greeting ready to answer any question i have. I also rather call in to do my payment and they are more than welcome to take the payment over the phone with 0 issues as opposed to other company's that say "There's a Fee for payment by phone" Overall i am very happy with State Farm and even happier with my Agent, Judith Duran. read more

Decades with this Agent. Multiple Cars, plus other insurance policies. Only one accident that was completely the other driver's fault. Had a bad year with a few slow speed fender-benders. Kathy's office staff have been clueless, and wrong about everything they tell me. they have advised me to take actions that in the end have cost me hundreds of dollars that could have otherwise have been avoided. Claims have been excruciating to deal with. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING gets done properly without multiple calls, sending the same document multiple times etc. Payouts take weeks and months, and the blame is always elsewhere, yet some how for decades they were always able to send me a bill on time and process my checks fast enough. Looking around it's become clear that State Farm WILL raise your rates after a single accident, even with "Accident Forgiveness". They do this by splitting legal hairs in the following manner. They normally increase both your 'base rate', AND charge you a 'surcharge' if you have an accident. Their so-called 'Accident Forgiveness' only applies to the 'surcharge', but your base rate increases regardless. Did my 'independent' Agent explain this, and make clear that it means that 50% increases in your overall bill are coming down the pike because of the accident that was 'forgiven'? Nope. Kathy didn't tell her customers about that, and in doing so is clearly NOT working to her clients best interests. Only her own, and those are tied directly to State Farms so there is no 'independence' at all, and so there is no value to paying her to be a middle man. The original schtick for State farm Agents was that they are independent of State Farm itself, so they are supposed to act on YOUR behalf at all times, and advocate for you with State Farm. Well it's very clear that this no longer happens. Nothing ever comes out of talking to the people in Kathy's office except more requests to re-transmit forms etc. They even ask you to please send them Notices you receive from State Farm as they can't see them. Bottom line is this business model is obsolete. They don't act in your interest they act in their interest, and State Farm does the same. in the 21st century there is no need for all the mouths to feed in an 'independent Agent's office, since they can't do anything or fix anything for you. They just suck up your $$ for nothing. Switching to esurance or Progressive as soon as possible. read more

Finally an Agent office I can TRUST !!! I have had my share of insurance company's in the past that either went to the all automated way of doing business or was just plain difficult to work with. That all ended for me after a co-worker referred to the office of kathy Schultz. My co-worker recommended I ask for Judith, which is whom she signed her policy with when she switched. Boy am I glad I did because The level of hospitality, humbleness, and a feeling of genuine customer satisfaction that Judith exhibits I can truly say is Extremely difficult to find these days. Especially in a technology driven world where everyone is out to get every penny you earn. I did not get that feeling with State Farm. I actually felt as if the ball was in my court and Judith was just showing me the options I had and how they each weighted with No pressure to sign up for any extra if in fact I did not feel the need to own it. After a simple phone call I arranged to have a auto insurance quote with Judith and now 2 years later with No plans on switching! Had auto & homeowners insurance through another company and decided to switch to State Farm. Went through the State Farm website and got assigned Kathy Schultze as my agent. I only transferred my auto to begin with and was going to change my homeowners after a refinance a month or two later. Soon after I started my auto policy I started getting calls from Victoria in Kathy's office. Prob was that she always seemed to call me after work while I was at home relaxing or eating dinner. Big no-no in my world. Even called me late on Halloween while I was trying to get my kid in his costume which really pissed me off. Who does that? The emails I got from her were all written after 5pm. Had to finally tell her to never call me again. Not sure what kind of hours that office keeps but if you want to keep calling or emailing me about business, then do it during normal business hours. Not when I'm eating dinner and your phone call annoys me. So they never got my homeowners and my auto insurance has been switched to a different State Farm agent who will get all my insurance business. All Victoria had to do was keep the phone calls before 4pm and we would've been fine. But after 6 you lost as soon as you dialed the phone. read more

I have everything through them, two auto, renters, and a personal property policy. They have always been super easy to deal with, provided me a super competitive rate, they are very personable, and their agents take the time to get to know you and what is going on your life, so that they match the policy to your needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to change or upgrade their insurance.
