The service was great and the two ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful. It appeared that some of their refrigerated items may be bought for sale and not baked in house but all their baked goods in that case were made by them and had a large selection of baked goods from breads, biscotti, bars, tarts, cakes, and more. it also looks like they offer made to order/custom cakes so that is pretty cool! Although not pictured, we tried several macarons and they had a subtle flavor, nothing overpowering which was nice. We also tried their mini tarts in lemon and cherry, as well as their apple crumble in phyllo dough. This was interesting and I have never seen it wrapped in phyllo dough. We also tried the carrot cake which after unpacking it, I do not believe it was made in house as it was part of the other refrigerated goods. Everything was light and pretty tasty. I would give this place a try if you are in the area as it has a lot of charm and variety of goods so I am sure you can find something you will enjoy!

I was lucky and snagged a parking space in front of the business; their parking is VERY limited and I'm surprised I didn't have to use a lot that was across a bridge. (Note that the bridge is right by the coffee shop, so it wouldn't have been a long trek at all.) I ordered a Butterscotch Latte and a Sausage, Biscuit & Egg breakfast sandwich; snagged a seat near the front of the store; and settled in for a relaxing break between my hikes. The coffee was excellent and the sandwich really hit the spot! While seating in the lower level is limited, I've learned reading other reviews that there is an outdoor patio and an upper level too. Their website mentions that they run a sundry market here too; however I didn't spend much time shopping in the interest of not stretching my wallet too far during my travels. I also didn't check out the wine cellar in the lower level. While this shop is little, it clearly has a lot to offer, and I am so glad I found it during my visit to Cuyahoga. I'd absolutely stop by again during future visits to the area...and I'd love to time my next visit so I can check out that wine cellar!

The man behind the counter explained what they offered and what exactly was inside every treat I asked about. The place is tucked away into a plaza, and it is absolutely stunning inside. There is a nice area to sit inside with a few tables if you choose to dine in, as well as a larger outdoor patio space to sit at which I really liked and will be perfect in the summer time. Jossi's had a lot more then just bakery as they offered traditional Latin food options such as empanadas as well as some other warm pastries. They also do custom cakes and personalized orders which is really awesome and they seem like a great team of people to work alongside if you are interested! I tried the carrot cake cupcake which was light and delicate, as well as tried the packaged alfajores which were not my favorite but was happy to try them. They also offered specialty coffees and drinks as well as selling their own ground coffee for purchase in a horchata flavor. I do wish they had their prices posted on the large menu just to reference as I found myself having to ask the price of a couple things. Overall, this bake shop is a charming place and reasonably priced and I am glad to have it tucked away into Broadview Heights. Muffins are SO MOIST and great texture/flavors.
