But I love my hair with Ray. So far, I've had haircuts and perms, soon we'll play with a balayage I followed him when he left his previous salon, and I'm so happy I did! He takes great care of my hair, and educates me with hair care and makes sure I do my part at home. My hair is much healthier now He is also very accommodating to my needs and scheduling. It's an absolute hack job When I contacted the salon, I was told refunds are "not their policy". The only resolution offered was "come in right now and we'll see what we can do" or "20% off a future service". After this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning. A trim should be the most basic service a salon can execute. If that can't be done properly, I would hesitate to trust them with anything more complex.

My hair is naturally fairly straight, so the excessive layering is especially obvious. I understand that not every haircut turns out exactly as expected, but for an $80 haircut, I really didn't expect to leave needing a corrective cut somewhere else.
