I have known Janelle for over 10 years and she's been doing my hair since she was in school. I always trust her to make me look beautiful and to do something different when I'm in the mood. When I had the ombre color she nailed it just using a one color process! It was unbelievable! she made my hair look like a variety of blonde & it was hard to imagine that it came from one color. Janelle has been doing my hair for 15 years!! I moved to Las Vegas about 5 years ago and I still won't let anybody else touch my hair. I don't have many experiences prior to Janelle doing my hair but for the ones I remember I know it was never the best fit. I had gone to a few stylists that didn't seem to "get" my requests or listen to what I was asking for. My hair is naturally curly and of course we never want what we have so I was always looking for something to tone down the curly and go for a more softer straighter flow... she has always given me the best suggestions and keeps my "chola waves" perfect :) One thing I have asked for on any & every hair move I make is to PRESERVE the LENGTH! I love my long hair and I've worked hard to grow it out and maintain it the last thing I want is a butcher job on my length... Janelle is the family stylist. My husband sees her for his Brazilian blowout and hair cut and I see her for my own Brazilian, color and cut. We've been going to her for over a year and are really happy with her services. My husband and I agree that Janelle is meticulous with her work so sometimes an appt might go over and overlap with the another client. Not only does she want to you to be satisfied with the results but she wants to make sure she's done her best job at each appt. Also, I love the way she cuts my bangs. Even when it grows out, it doesn't look messy or obvious that I need to trim my bangs ASAP. I'm a creature of habit and love bobs because its the only style I think complements me. Thankfully, she's great at bobs and also does a great job of thinning out my heavy and thick hair. Believe the 5 star reviews -- Janelle gave me the best haircut I have ever had (in 4+ decades). She cut my fine, curly, unruly, graying hair into a sweet, stylish bob that falls into place by itself. I didn't see too many reviews from curly-haired folk, but Janelle has curly hair herself and totally knows what she's doing.
