I have gone there a few times. But I will not go back! I didn't realize it but they don't sterize their tools and then when the polish I had chosen ran out, he tilted my fingers so couldn't see there was no polish on the brush! I had seen he ran out, but he kept "dipping' the brush in the bottle to appear he was still getting polish on the brush!! They don't wipe the arms of the chairs off between clients. My daughter and I went for pedicures. I had the deluxe and my daughter had the classic. The staff was AMAZING! They painted my daughter's nails at no additional charge and added a cute flower! I came here because 3 years ago when I was in town visiting family I remember it being decent and I liked the free shoulder rub. After the last visit I had 4 days ago, I am never going back. While I was getting a pedicure the girl made me bleed! 2 days later I now have a toenail infection. The whole time I was thinking this doesn't feel very hygienic. The brush she used to scrub my toes looked old and used as well as all the other tools. Any other nail salon I have been to they open their tools out of a package in front of you, not this place. I have no idea if they were even cleaned from the last person! Disgusting. Moving onto my manicure. I got a gel manicure and typically they are supposed to last 10-14 days. Like I said I got this manicure 4 days ago and it's already starting to peel off?! Also they didn't clean up my cuticle beds at all, I'm not exaggerating here. I don't know what she did but she barely cleaned them up and now I have hangnails?? And drumroll for the final thing that made me realize I will never be back here. While I was getting my pedicure I expected to start working on my gel manicure like normal to get both done at the same time. I've had it done this way at other salons and not only that, the lady next to me was getting both done at the same time. So why was I sitting there getting a pedicure watching two ladies who worked here asleep on the couch in front of me?? It was almost sad?? And weird? I don't know, between the infection, lack of hygiene and poor service I will not be coming back here and advise others to be warned. I have attached pictures to show my hang nails and the peeling. every time i go to Katie's nails my nail beds HURT so bad for days or until i take them off. i spend $50 ($40 nails and $10 tip) on nails i didn't pick how long my nails where and she will leave u half way though to go start on another costumer. i will never recommend this nail shop EVER. read more

My fiancé and I have been needing pedicures for a long time and we finally had the chance tonight... until we pulled up to the salon at 6:45pm to find it was closing in 15 minutes. We really didn't want to do that, so I found Katie Nails on Yelp which didn't close until 7:30. We called to make sure it wasn't to late to come in and the man on the phone assured me it wasn't. We arrived at Katie right at 7:00 and they got us into chairs right away. We both opted for the $35 Deluxe Pedicures, which included all the basics plus hot stones and paraffin wax. I expected a quick service because we were there so late but we didn't leave the nail salon until 8:15! The employees were all so friendly and they took their time with us. We both received very long leg massages AND neck & shoulder massages. There were a few other customers that also stayed past closing time, but only one customer still getting her toes done when we finally left. I was SO impressed with the attitude, service, and prices. This is the worst place to get your nails done. They don't clean their stuff. After I got my toe nails done at Katie's I got a toe infection. The nail color looked ok but the fact I had to get surgery on my toe it made the price not worth it don't come here... read more
