Beautiful manicures and pedicures every time! The customer service is excellent too! The technicians are always so friendly and accommodating to my requests. I have noticed since COVID that it's very difficult for them to accept walk-in appts. I know many businesses have been in need of more workers, and it has been the same for them. I think currently they are only able to schedule workers according to appointments booked that day. Until businesses can hire more people and get back to PRE-COVID, I hope customers can be understanding of this and try to schedule their appointments ahead of time. This was just an observation of mine. I want to see fantastic small businesses like this one succeed! My nails look so good I got them done for school on July 29th and it's now august 19 and all of them are still on. The vibes were amazing the girls were super sweet and kind, it felt like friends just talking. The actual salon is really nice to it looks nice and neat and didn't look dirty at all. After the longest & stressful week I needed a pedicure! I've seen oasis a bunch while driving home but today was my first time stopping by. My nail tech was amazing, she constantly checked on me. Absolutely not impressed! had an 11am appointment for 2, asked that we be seated together. Unfortunately that didn't happen until 30 mins later. I was set in the end chair and we were told the customer next to me was almost done. They started on me and 30 minutes later my daughter was finally set next to me. Throughout her pedicure she wrenched in pain several times. I did myself earlier. After spending over $100 for our pedicures, she is left with bad polish job and possible infection as well as myself. They put Acrylic on my Gel nails the first time (which cannot be fixed) and the second time was the last for me and my Mother, here's why..... The were speaking their language which I can handle BUT, they were laughing and laughing then my mom said "If you're telling jokes I want to hear too, We want to laugh" Now she said that in a very friendly way however, One of the girls said (in a very stern and UNFRIENDLY way) "Listen! So I've been searching for a nail place near my new home. I was hesitant to come here at first but I'm glad I did. They give teacher discounts and Kevin and Angela were incredibly friendly. I'm pretty surprised at all the reallllly negative reviews here- I stopped in today to Oasis as a walk-in looking to get a gel mani/pedi after quarantine home improvement projects galore and although I think they are a little pricy based on what I've been paying (mind you the last time I had my nails done was while living in Florida) I definitely received good service and quality work. I had Isaac do both for me! He was so sweet and made nice, friendly conversation throughout the services. Honestly it was the most gentle mani/pedi I've ever had! It was quite relaxing, no pain, no tickling! He shaped my nails well and consistently although a hair shorter than I wanted, however with the masks and fiber glass shield between us (thanks to COVID) It was harder to communicate during a mani than usual. Between that 1-2mm of nail shortness and the pricing, I took off one star. It was crazy busy through out my 2 hours there, but I never felt anyone was being put offs or their time disrespected- in my opinion! First time going to this place, I got a pedicure and a full set of acrylics. Super impressed! I'm 9 months pregnant and the pedi was fabulous, the gentlemen that did my pedicure also placed a towel over my lap since I was wearing a dress which I thought was a small and thoughtful touch! He also did my full set of acrylics and did amazing. He was extremely gentle, I usually will bleed from all the filing or my fingers will feel sore the next day but nope!!! Highly recommend. I had an appointment for 5, they were taking people who got there before me with the same appointment time. They finally got to my at 5:40, the lady sighed when i wanted them long. She kept drilling my cuticles and filed my nails half way to where they're way shorter than how I wanted them. She sighed and rolled her eyes every time a customer called and hung up. This was $60. I can get blinged out, extra long nails with my usual tech. She was very rude, my nails are all different shapes are sizes, i have bumps all over, bubbles in my nails, and overall i am extremely unhappy with my nails. Had a pedicure today at Oasis. Oasis is in a strip mall off Morgan Rd. You walk in and it the appearance is that of a standard nail salon. The massage chair was newer and provided a welcome relief from a stressful week. I was provided with a drink and my hour of relaxation began. Disappointed. My first time there. I got a pedicure. Granted, I did purchase the standard for pedi, however I was not informed that they would not remove the dead skin. This is why most people get pedicures. I understand if I was requesting hot stones or towel wraps. I was informed if I wanted the dead skin removed I have to buy the $45 pedi.. Been going here for years. I have collected dozens of reward cards and never used them. I had a Gift Card that was purchased from my family for me. I really wanted to like it better. I started with getting my acrylics filled and every two weeks two or more would be so loose that they would have to replace them every time I came in to get my fill which isn't too huge of a problem except they were charging me extra every time. My natural nails grew out that I decided to take off the acrylics and start getting powder dip. One week after I had a nail break for no reason, then another. The girls that work there do a decent job of shaping and making your nails look good however the problem is the materials that they are using. The acrylic powder that they use is a brand that can be purchased at Sally's and the dip powder can hardly be found online plus to save time instead of doing the top coat they just slap a coat of gel polish on top and stick your hands in the UV light. Really enjoyed my visit to Oasis this morning! I took a chance and walked in and was helped immediately. The staff was friendly. This shop gives you a card to have stamped. When the card is filled, you get a discount. What the card DOESN'T say nor do they tell you is, you must spend at least $17.00 each visit or they won't stamp the card. This is false advertisement! Overpriced and so not worth the money. They kept pressuring me to spend more money on my pedicure, so I did, specifically to have my calluses removed, and she spent as much time on them as any other part of my foot (which wasn't a lot of time). I, then, asked her to work on the problem area and she nodded then ignored the request. The paint job was also horrible! She went so fast and there was a huge glob on my big toe. I could've done better myself. Next, the manicure for a wedding I was in was the worst. I wanted fake nails so they'd hold up all weekend but I also wanted my cuticles done. The manicurist assured me he'd take care of them, but never touched them or had me soak my hands or anything. I was bummed to have waisted my time, $80-something bucks, and had low quality nails. Never again! Only positive was it seems like certain staff members had satisfied repeat customers. My advice if you go, don't let them up-sale you, and make an appointment with a verified manicurist, and last; good luck. I won't be back. read more
