Not even 24 hours my $65 fill (plus a $15 tip) nails have gone to complete crap. I emailed owner and she apologized and said she would refund me by end of business day. I waited and waited. She decided she did not want to refund me after saying THREE times in message that she would. I ended up called and the owner, Katie, SCREAMED AT ME. saying did not give her anytime insinuating that I'm insulting her by saying my nails are not holding up. Then becomes MY fault my nails are not holding up... AFTER saying three times in message she will refund me. This business is solely run through a personal non business Venmo account which is very shady to me! I had my debit card and they refused to take it. Make you download Venmo to pay!? Only GOOD thing to be said about this place is that the nail tech (Mya) took so much time and care on making my nails "perfect" for me. I would have been highly satisfied if they held up for at least a week. I get nails aren't going to be stay perfect. But 24 hours an acrylic set should NOT look like this. They kept switching people in the middle of doing my nails, I asked for French tip the second I walked in, and when they switched nail techs she told me she can't do French tip because my color was too dark??? There truly is not a better place to get your nails done in the MWV than Katie's. I was living in NYC up until last spring and I had a favorite salon in Brooklyn that I never minded spending a pretty penny on because the work was so beautiful. Mind you I'll be in the chair for almost 3 hours and I'd spend at least a $100, but it made me feel so self confident. Never did I ever think not only would I find someone with enough patience and talent around here, but also is so hard working. Kate is a super mom, always putting her children first and it's so inspiring. I'm in and out of her chair usually in just under an hour and the art she does is just out of this world! I have been coming here every time I'm in New Hampshire for vacation for the past 4 years. I never had a problem. Didn't always love them but were never terrible. A few days ago I came here and got the dip on my nails for the first time ever. The girl spent maybe 15 mins doing them and even when she was doing them I asked questions because I couldn't believe it was the final Product. I was supposed to get a pedicure but opted out when my nails turned out crappy. I understand it's hard to find workers but she didn't care at all. I also told her I wanted them really short and she didn't listen. They're lumpy and just terrible. If I go back I'll request someone else . This happened a couple months ago. I was a walk in and grateful that there was a salon that took them. I got a manicure and pedicure. I'd been going here pretty consistently and was happy sometimes but sometimes not. Nonetheless they took walk ins. I noticed that my nail beds had been getting thinner and my nails were breaking off and splitting in between appointments. I had a feeling this was because this salon used a nail drill to remove gel polish. So this time I opted for real old fashioned nail polish. Something I've been using for over THREE DECADES . I got my pedicure first. My technician was in a poor mood and seemed personally offended that I chose real polish over gel. I was done in less than 15 minutes. This made me mad because they're not cheap and pedicures really are where I can relax. I was not happy or impressed by this. Next was my manicure and again I got a bit of a difficult time opting out of the gel polish but like I said the drills were damaging my nail beds. This technician I'd used before so I was shocked when I saw the end results. I hadn't been paying attention but it sure didn't even look like he did two coats which I'm sure he did. I payed. I tipped. I left. Now let me first off start by saying I'm 47 and I've been getting my nails done since I was 12 years old. I also can do my own nails so I'm very very familiar with what a good manicure is and ISNT. The next morning I looked at my nails and the polish was already chipping. Not only was there a thick border of unpainted nail around my nail bed but now the polish is chipping off less than 24 hours after I paid a professional to paint them. So I decided to call them hoping they would make this right by offering to fix them. Instead they tried to tell me the polish was chipping because it was not gel polish and they tried to tell me this yesterday. I was pretty shocked they thought that I somehow didn't know any better. I know a good polish job and I should be able to get two weeks with a great top coat but to not get 24 hours and then to be blamed for what was just simply a really poor job was ridiculous. I think she did a good job except for the fact she rushed through the tips of my french. she was quite snotty during the whole thing running around the salon and talking on the phone stopping midway through the manicure. while she did do a pretty good job I felt very disrespected because though I am a minor I do not deserve to be treated like I am 8. read more

Not good and will not be back. I went twice recently. The first time I got a regular manicure/pedicure. It was not well done and very rushed. I was in and out in HALF AN HOUR. That pretty much says it all. Last week I got a dip and a deluxe pedicure. The pedicure was good but the dip manicure was awful. $80 later for a mani/pedi - I am not happy. My nails are so thick they look like little helmets. They need to be done a week later - the whole point of a dip is not to go every week. Highly unfortunate. read more

My Mother and I went here on April 28th during the pandemic. We were impressed by their level of cleanliness. Every customer is required to wash their hands upon entering, and fill out a form with their contact information and whether or not they've been exposed to anyone with Covid, or if they have Covid symptoms, etc. Katie appears to run a tight ship. I had two experiences. My pedi was great, took her time and I loved it. My daughter and I got dip. It came out terrible, bumpy, not flat, pooled at the tips. The edges aren't covered with top coat. I came because of the color choices but I'll go basic color before I am this embarrassed by my nails again. I dread getting them redone, the new place will think i did it at home. Which if I did, I'd never leave them like this. I've only been here once before, nothing notable at that time either however this time I had Kevin and we had some laughs throughout my visit, he listened to what I wanted (nothing crazy just new set of acrylics) and what I had and I loved how they came out! I went in at 1150 ish and was out around 1230 which worked well because I was on my lunch break! Lovely service, busy, but friendly staff! Don't go here! I agree with some of the other reviews. I got a pedicure and it lasted all of 15 mins and cost $30! The nail tech was so, so rude and grouchy. He didn't put the toe wedges in between my nails and some polish got on my toes and he blamed me saying I moved my feet. It was so rushed and wasn't relaxing at all. I have had many pedicures over the years and this was by far the worst! And wasn't worth $10 let alone $30. read more

On vacation and damaged my nails tubing on the river-so much fun! I needed someone that did dip powder as well as used a dremel to remove posing-not a file. This was the salon that seems the best. It was. So nice and great selection of colors. Everything sterile and dipped in alcohol all the time. The re did one nail because they didn't like the way it looked. Such pride of job. Two of us arrived on a Saturday morning and were taken immediately without appointments which was nice and appreciated. BUT both of us were continously upsold for more expensive treatments and wouldn't relent throughout the mani or pedi. Technicians seemed annoyed to just do a "classic" treatment.
