I am glad to have found Katie! I was dealing with muscle strain throughout my shoulder and neck area. I explained to Katie what my issue was and she did a great job in massaging the area. She knew what she was doing! I feel so much better and have much more mobility. She also gave me tips on how to stretch. Her place was nice and clean, and I felt relaxed. She also used essential oils which I really liked. Katie was very attentive and communicative without being salesy. I highly recommend Katie. I will be using her again! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Katie C.

Having practiced yoga for several years, Katie traveled to Ubud, Bali where she studied pranayama, yoga, yoga philosophy and meditation with Yoga Arts . The retreat was a transformative experience. After attending the retreat she returned home to Doha, Qatar where she began her 200H teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa. During her nine month training with Yama Yoga, she had the opportunity to take many workshops lead by well-respected members of the yoga community, including Alison West, Tiffany Cruikshank, Nicky Knoff and Noah McKenna. These workshops focused on exploring anatomy in yoga sparking Katie's fascination with yoga as therapy. Katie attended Laurel School of Massage where she completed her 500H Massage Therapy Certification. This course drastically increased her understanding of anatomy and enhanced her ability to work with individuals on a therapeutic basis. She continues to deepen her practice on a daily basis through continuing education and research.
