PG Pool & Spa to the rescue! After the storm that hit Houston last week, I was without power for 5…read moredays, my pool hadn't been serviced in 2 weeks, and my previous "pool guy" was unresponsive and no where to be found- PG Pool & Spa came to the rescue. Mark & Christian added me to their schedule on Saturday (Memorial Day weekend). They arrived at 8:00pm after servicing all of their established customers for the day. My pool was in bad shape, it was green, had tons of algae and was chemically depleted. The level of professionalism, knowledge and customer service was something I've never experienced before, especially with pool service! They worked until 10pm, not taking a single short cut and explaining each step they were doing. The results, after just 12 hours, are incredible! You guys have earned a loyal and grateful customer! Thank you for working all those crazy hours, it is so much appreciated!

After paying for professional service, I expected much better. Instead, I was left with a mess and a pool that was not taken care of as promised. The lack of professionalism and attention to detail was unacceptable. Based on my experience, I believe the owner should refund our money for the services we paid for because the work was not completed as expected. I would not recommend this company.

I love this Y. I have visited few other Y locations but this one blows my mind of how nice the…read morefacility and childcare facility are. My family and I have been using this location primarily since getting our membership about 6 months ago. We visit the Y 4-7 days a week and our experiences have been overall very good! Facility: The overall facility is really impressive in my opinion. It is shockingly large (but it makes sense because of the population size it serves) the locker rooms are really pretty nice and all the restrooms on site are always spotless and well kept. Areas like the turf/lifting area, cardio area, lobbies, outdoor pool, indoor pool (basically everywhere) really surpassed my expectations as far as quality and upkeep. The facilities are always clean and just look good in general Equipment: The equipment is very diverse and there are PLENTY of machines and equipment. Multiple of everything or at least multiple versions of equipment that target the same muscles or do the same thing. I only occasionally notice a machine not working and it is always working again within a few days. Most people do wipe down the machines after use but I've also noticed staff with wipe down equipment here and there- makes me feel good that the machines are kept sanitized throughout the day :) Classes: There are ALOT of different classes to take at the Y that are included in your membership. Yoga, hot yoga, boot camp classes, Zumba, water exercise, etc., classes are easy to book through the app and are in individual studios in the Y Childcare: I'm a stay at home mom with a 1 (now almost 2) year old. This is the first daycare situation I've ever put my child in. The childcare director (I forget her name, but the older woman who has an office outside of the childcare center) has amazing experience and is so kind and understanding. It was really hard for me to leave my baby the first few times when she was screaming bloody murder at drop off but this woman was very kind and understanding of my feelings while encouraging me to keep at it and assuring me she would adjust within a week or two. I followed her advice and brought my baby every weekday no matter what and she stopped crying at drop off on day 6 :) she now happily runs all the way to childcare and typically walks in happily of her own free will ;) I feel very comfortable with the daycare staff caring for my child, in the evening they are mostly younger girls who are energetic and friendly with the kids. On warm days they typically play on the playground for awhile and my baby always comes out with a drawing to show me and it makes me so happy! Youth sports: While my child is not old enough to be in youth sports yet, the Y does have A LOT OF SPORTS for children; basketball, soccer, volleyball, ninja obstacle course, just to nap a few. I have volunteer coached for two of these sports and my experience with the youth sports director Jesse, has been great! Jesse is fantastic at coordinating these events (practices and games) and seems truly passionate about making the program the best it can be for the kids and the parents. I've had a lot of fun coaching and seeing kids build their confidence through team sports and make friends while playing their sport :) Staff: I haven't had any personal experiences with a personal trainer but I see them with people everyday, they seem very knowledgeable and supportive of their client. The staff at the front desk has been able to assist me with any thing I've needed so far. Childwatch staff is my fav because they make my kid happy :). The staff who monitor each workout area are like flies on the wall, they don't bother anyone but keep the area clean. Lifeguards are on the younger side (especially in the summer) and have all been pretty fun and always polite. Overall the staff at this location get the job done and are very nice. Overall we are in love with this location and while I'm interested in visiting other locations, D Bradley McWilliams is our home! I definitely recommend checking it out and doing a day pass (which includes 2 days) at the very least. The amount we pay for our membership is more than worth it for what we get out of this Y

You have to contact them but again nobody answers the phone so you either have to pay for a membership you don't use or you have to go in person. I think it's dumb that you have to sign up for a membership to enroll in a summer camp. That's not required for other entities.

I had high expectations for Giammalva Racquet Club, but my experience was far from what I…read moreanticipated. It presents itself as an elite academy on paper, yet it fails to deliver the hospitality and facilities required for hosting high-level national tournaments. I attended a nationals tournament where players from across the country, ranked in the top three of their USTA sections, gathered to compete. Unfortunately, this was the worst nationals experience I've had, and I will not return, regardless of the event's level. Here are the key issues I encountered: - **Lack of Atmosphere**: Unlike other national tournaments, there were no decorations, banners, or photo opportunities. The facility felt outdated and uninviting. - **Staff Attitude**: While the food staff were friendly, the lounge was dirty, with torn and cracked seating. Staff members often engaged in loud personal conversations instead of maintaining a professional environment. - **Inadequate Amenities**: The facility offered no Wi-Fi for players and guests to use while waiting between matches. The courts were in poor condition, with numerous cracks needing repair, which is unacceptable for a national event. - **Insufficient Restrooms**: With only two toilets and one urinal for hundreds of players and their guests, the situation was dire. They refused to open locker rooms for additional restroom access, expecting players to pay a guest fee just to change or shower--what a money-driven approach. - **Poor Communication**: During rain delays, the club scheduled matches for 7 a.m. on Sunday, despite the rain causing delays until nearly 8:45. There was no text communication to inform players of the delays, which could have saved many a 45-minute drive. Overall, the Giammalva Racquet Club did not showcase its facility in the best light, nor did it make guests feel welcome. With the main courts under construction and many issues persisting, it's apparent that the management does not prioritize the guest experience. Many other players echoed my sentiments, expressing they would not return if the event were held here again. It's disheartening to see such a lack of care in a facility that hosts national events. USTA, please do better.

The facilities were very nice and tidy. They have a little cafe where he was able to get a hot lunch if he wanted. The coaches were all passionate and personable with him and he learned so much. We are signing him up for their summer program and he is so excited for summer camp!
