SUPER disappointing because we have used Mock's for 30+ years in Amelia Island. Not sure what else to do except have attorney involvement.

I next called the real estate number and an answering service answered the call. She said she had. not been pain in 3 months for her services. we still have not heard anything from Mocks. I finally called my credit card company and hopefully we will get a refund. This was a terrible experience and would run from Mocks.

The top floor has stunning views, and our kids loved having their own space. The condo is just a few steps from the bridge to get to the ocean. You can hear the ocean waves from the condo. There is a washer and dryer and a large patio, as well as a deck in one of the upper bedrooms. Chasta was super responsive and accommodating. We had the perfect trip and will definitely use Moore Rentals again.

They would only issue a refund, they'd rather have the condo unrented. But wait, it gets better. I found another condo, that just so happens to be directly across the street from ketch. The owner informed me that ketch has been working on, and known about the roof since March. It's a shame they would have the top floor condos for rent knowing it would be miserable. Please listen and don't rent from the Dunlops or anything they touch, including Elizabeth Pointe Lodge. Misrepresenting the properties they are renting - check. A cheap hotel is better maintained at a fraction of the price - see pictures. Unresponsive when issues arise - check. Their manager pulled over to text us but could not call us, neither have the Dunlops to date despite multiple attempts. Their employees are leaving them - check. We were told that 2 cleaning people left in the last week and the service person was shocked at the maintenance of our unit. The properties they rent are not safe - check. Our unit had one functioning smoke detector from 2005, exposed wires in the shower, unsecured shower doors and other safety issues. If you don't care about safety, the Dunlops and AIV have you covered! Overall, this is not how to run a business but how to take advantage of people who are on vacation. There are plenty of reputable rental and management companies on Amelia Island and Amelia Island Vacations is not one of them. Do your homework before you put your money, trust and safety in a rental. If I were to do it again on Amelia Island, I would stay away from this group. We wish we would have listened to the reviews as we really loved the area...

It has 2 masters downstairs and the other 2 downstairs have double queen beds and the room is great in size and they have their own baths also. It is so peaceful and designed so well. It is a corner lot and the neighbors are at a perfect distance. The ocean views sprawl from one side to the other side of the house and upstairs is a panoramic view off the deck. You can feel the love of the owner in this home and how they want you to create memories here. If you look at the guest book you can see that many families return yearly. It is right down from Fort Clinch and walking distance from some great restaurants and the Historic district is just up the road. I have been able to stay for the last 3 years for a annual retreat and make my own memories and I highly recommend you make some here too.

Our unit was a little dated (Down by the Sea) so you cannot expect the quality of the units to be…read morethe same across the board, but some things are universal to the location. I'll start with the unit itself: a bit dated/worn in the kitchen & bathrooms---well-stocked kitchen but with older coffee maker and skimpy soap supply for dishes and laundry, wonderful location (we were oceanfront with a very short walk to the boardwalk and pool, everything you need for a week (or longer stay)...tv is also a bit dated and two lights were actually broken when we arrived...I'm sure they'd have fixed it if we'd asked them to come but I didn't want maintenance people in there while we were there so we just texted to notify. I didn't have five-star expectations so I wasn't upset but definitely recognize this is a budget accommodation that is beach front. The pool is large and clean and wonderful. There are stores pretty close by but I'd say you definitely need a car unless you're up for a long bike ride. We were happy here and would come back but it would help if the owner would spruce things up a bit...seriously, not a lot....just a little. The ocean view from our balcony and bedroom made it worth it. Plus there's ample parking and we always felt safe.
