My child has now been fasting for more than 15 hours, 5 hours more than necessary. Lack of communication and organization especially when it comes to a 4 year old. We have been planning this procedure for months and I was not given any information that it would be a wait time this long. I have done same procedures at other places without this issue. Everything before the procedure was very disorganized. The assistant talking to me as we speak sounds like she is half asleep and mumbling off. Has no idea what she is doing. Did not even know my name (I am the legal guardian). Did not have the right paper work (had someone else's) I would gladly pay another practice more for better quality service. Their "Patient Advocate" , Evelyn that replies to these reviews are just automated copy and paste. Not helpful. Most of these positive reviews are generated via paid agencies to boost their Google reviews. For a better representation of their actual reviews check Yelp (2.8/5) but even that is over inflated. The hygienist did a great job! Mouth and tooth pain can be the worst kind of pain. I just had several cavities filled in one session and it was the best experience I've ever had. I always have a lot of jaw pain during dental procedures and Dr. McDonald was considerate and caring the entire time, which meant a lot. I also had some bonding done (which I am very pleased with) and plan on getting more cosmetic work here in the future. :)

Then, out of nowhere in June 2026, I discovered they had sent an unexplained balance to collections. When I called to ask why, I was told they do not mail or email bills. They only send text messages. I never received any text messages about an outstanding balance. If there really was money owed, why was I not properly notified before they sent it to collections almost four years later? The representative also could not explain why there was still a balance due when I had already made payments in 2021 and 2022. He said he did not understand it either. I asked to speak with the manager, but I was told the manager was unavailable and would call me back the next day. That call never came. I called again and was given the same promise, but the manager still never returned my call. I do not recommend this practice. I am writing a letter to the office and to the Texas Attorney General asking them to investigate these billing practices. I still want an explanation of why I was charged, why the account was sent to collections without proper notice, and why this has now damaged my credit.

The dentist casually strolled in from lunch(my son was on the table when he left) and did not wash his hands prior to putting on gloves and going straight into my son's mouth. They do not use a thyroid shield during the panoramic X-rays. When asked about it I was told they do for the other X-rays, but were not required to for those. I did not observe the "regular". XRays , so I cannot confirm if this happens or not.
