This is the BEST pedicure I've ever had. I haven't been to a nail in so long just cause of how piss poor it normally is. But I'll be making this my regular spot. Everyone is so super duper friendly, it's so cute and relaxing, they make sure you're comfortable. I have nothing but good things to say. My kids went with my sister to do her nails and the owner did a terrible job on her nails, when my sister asked for her nails to be fixed the owner attacked her verbally and asked her to pay and get out.... she said I am not paying until they are fixed after waiting 10 minutes she said she would leave and the owner proceeded to punch her in the face leaving her a swollen cheek bone and cut... this is all happening in front of my 12 year old daughter and 9 year old daughter...:: police were called and charges were pressed.... please do not go to this salon as the owner is a believer of punching women in the face. Popped in to get a pedi & mani. Did a decent job but cut my finger. Then because of the cut she wasn't able to properly paint the thumb mail and by a couple hours after leaving the salon my nail had bubbles in the ain't. Sadly I'm not happy with the overall job. read more

Went in today for a shellac manicure and pedicure I got the 35 dollar pedicure but it had a special on it so it went down $3 less. I was very pleased with my shellac manicure I love it a lot the only downside is that the girl accidentally cut me. The woman who was working on my pedicure did a fantastic job I felt very relaxed. But then the girl who did my manicure painted my toe nails, I don't know what happened but I'm not happy with it. Don't think I'd come back again. read more

I saw a terrible fight today, the lady next to me was doing her nails with the Asian lady ,her nails looked awful she asked the lady to redo them and lady didn't want to so the owner or mgr told her to pay and leave the customer told her i will pay but you need to redo the nails , well they started to yell at her and she was getting out of the chair when he grabbed her and punched her in front of the kids and all of us there. This is not a professional place looks like this guy haves anger issues. If you come you are taking a chance of paying for nails that you don't like and getting punched in the face never coming back!!! Come at your own risk !! read more

This lady does not even try to help customer, had a "refill" after one day they are all messing up and she refuses to fix them . She has the nerve to say she only put acrylic on the inside where nail has grown out and doesn't even care about the tip of the nails" I don't do". I came in originally on a Tuesday, worked four desk at a desk job( not rough on nails), came back on Saturday ( 1st day off) and the couple had closed shop early at 6 instead of seven as door stated. I came back Sunday and had pedicure in order to wait for the lady as she was busy with other customer to only have her attitude and lack of caring about customer satisfaction and wants... I told her on the day of service that the nails were done to thin and she said " they good". Well obviously not. Never again! read more

Since moving to katy (from memorial) about 4 months ago (thanks Harvey), I have been trying to find a nail salon that even compares to my usual spot in memorial (nails beautiful *****). Needless to say I've tried a few nearby, disappointed with every place I've tried so far. This place has to be the worst so far. Dirty, old, not sure if the equipment was clean, had to repeatedly ask for obvious things. Came here for a pedi before NYE night out and am beyond disappointed. Nail polish SLOPPY, had to ask 3 times to have it fixed, and my feet were rough when I left! WTH! They weren't like that when I even came in! Towels and stones were not hot, massage was lacking, and even basic English was not understood. Very frustrating. Never going back. read more

ZERO STARS FOR THE POS man that owns this place. Went in at noon for a mani pedi, got sat right away. Pedi went fine 2 stars for that. The manicure however was horrible, the young girl that polished my nails did a bad job. First, she didn't properly file my nails, they're still bumpy and rigid. Second, she used WAY TO MUCH POLISH, then layered the clear coat! I had nothing to do that day so figured well ill just wait for them to dry, no biggie. Well 2.5 hours later they're still not dry. So a different nail tech sprayed quick dry on them so I sat there under the drying station and waited. Checked them a few minutes later STILL NOT DRY. Again, a different nail tech checked them and as she was looking her nail clipped my nail and left an indentation. I pointed that out to her so she grabbed more clear polish, I asked if it was quick dry polish and she just ignored me and proceeded to polish my nails with it, and then sprayed more quick dry spray on top of that... by then one of my nails had bubbled. By this time im begging to get upset and just want my nails to dry so I could leave! So I sat there longer hoping they would dry. Well it never happened, of course not because there were 5 coats of polish on my nails by then. So I asked if they can just take the polish off all together. They did just that. Of course the polish came right off because there was way to much on. Went to pay and they were charging me for a pedi and mani. So i asked why am I paying for a service that I'm not leaving with? Just then the POS man owner jumps right in all defensive and says that I'm paying full price because I got 2 services.. so in a calm normal voice I try to explain to him what happened and what the problem was. NOPE he didn't want to hear it. He was being rude and getting loud with me and accusing me of not wanting to wait for my nails to dry. Again I tried talking to him. NOPE I couldn't get a word out. All he could do was blame me for my nails not being dry, at this point were both talking over each other cuz I'm trying to explain that I've been there almost 3 hours waiting for my nails to dry. All he could do was blame me, that his business has been there for years and there's never been a problem. So I told him that I would pay the full price solely on the fact that I'm a decent human being NOT A POS LIKE HIM. That's when he changes his tune and tells the cashier to just charge half price.. I'm getting heated by now and I tell him no, I'll pay your full price and stop talking to me. Nope, he starts yelling at the cashier to only charge half price so she does just that. GOOD GRIEF I've NEVER EVER EVER gotten yelled at and insulted by a business owner. I left in tears at the way I was treated. Needless to say I will never go back! read more

I love this place. The best nail in Katy in my opinion....the pedicure special $30 is a great deal. They really pay attention to detail and make sure you are getting what you want and what you're paying for. MI Is my go to lady.... she's my favorite she always takes care of me very well . Nail tech Asian lady had to redo my nails 3 times and didn't even ask me if I wanted to get acrylic nails or just powder on my real nails. She then sanded my nails so much to the point I told her to stop it hurts and Proceeded to do a Sloppy nail polish job. This is only been 1 day and my nail polish is already chipping off. Now I know for a fact I will not be trusting Katy nails and spa ever again. read more

It was suppose to look pretty and well groomed for this special milestone in her life. She kept complaining that the nails were crooked and badly none but they didn't do anything. They was also accumulated nails underneath from filing the fake nail down. I was in the processed of discussing the issue with the owner and placed my card on the desk and it was swiped for an unauthorized charge, without rectifying the situation. I had to get nails removed and completely redone the next day on May 11th to attend prom on Friday May 12th. I called the place several times to let them know that I am very unhappy with the service and need a refund and they keep hanging up the phone on me. They did not actually render the service of cleaning and grooming the nails before actually putting the tips on. The lady said that she was sick and just didn't care and she rushed us out of there because it was passed their closing time. As a citizen of this country I need to be treated fairly by people that we pay my hard earned money to. If the service was rendered I wont not have an issues, but the fact remains that we had to get it redone. Very unhappy customer and I don't wish this on anyone. They refuse to fix it or give a remind. Please guys avoid going there because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. The husband appears to be nice and friendly but will not go against his wife talking about she did her best and her finger is crooked. That's a lie. She also mentioned that to file and clean her nails before adding the acrylic is 14$ more than we had already paid. This was $35 down the drain. read more

I called ahead and scheduled an appointment for me and my mom to get a manicure and two pedicures. When we arrived, the place was almost empty. We were greeted quickly and asked to pick a color. They have a large selection to choose from. After we made our selections, we were told to have a seat in the pedicure chairs. After 20 minutes a woman came over and started her work. I had to ask her if they have different types of pedicures. Good thing I asked because they have a special. She didn't do a good job with the callus removal, but overall I give it a B. There wasn't any explanations about the types of pedicures or manicures. I noticed they had different scented jugs of the sugar scrub but I wasn't given the option to make a selection. The manicure was off, and she cut my nails crooked. There are still some cuticles that she didn't bother cutting, and I think underneath nails came out dirtier than when I arrived. My mom waited for nearly an hour before being helped, and the woman that was helping her didn't do that good of a job either. I have been to some bad places, and this is far better than those. This was my first time being there, and I think I will go back to my old place before coming to this place. I will, however keep it in mind for a backup. read more

Katy Nails and Spa is a great place ! I have been bringing my daughters and granddaughter here for over 6 years. They are always friendly and are very patient , I'm ticklish and move a lot. Haha The incident on 7/12 that those two ladies speak of did not happen the way they explained at all Cause I too was there. The lady that claims to have been assaulted left out the fact that she was rude and incredibly nasty, she insulted the owners wife and cursed her in front the children she had inside with her. My daughter is Autistic and began to cry because she considers the people in the shop her friends and could not understand why she was being so mean to them. The nail tech consistently asked her if she wanted her to redo the nail and tried to fix it to her satisfaction but the woman remained unsettled. When they told her they could remove the nails and let her go along her way she refused and insisted that they do what the f she told them to do. Mind you I was actually before her as she came in minutes before closing. She was so indignant I told the Nail tech to finish her first. The owner himself called the police because of her behavior and when she tried to leave he stood in the door and told her she had to pay for the nails or allow them to remove them. She then attempted to push past him and actually hit him first. As he was trying to block her from leaving he did attempt to pull her in but he never swung. In fact the scratch that she got on her face came from my unfinished nails as I was trying to break up the commotion. That situation could have been handled so differently and she was very much at fault for the outcome. It is possible to have a bad day ,to not do your best work. She apologized and tried very hard to fix it, that lady was determined to hate it and belittle the tech , when she simply could have asked her to remove the nails and took her business else where. They also left out the fact that the police never charged the owner. The complaint was determined to be unfounded and a they gave the owner a restraining order against the lady and her family for their hostile behavior! read more
