    My cuticles CUT!!

Horrible service!! Lady that did my toes was okay, however the lady that did my hands was very rude. RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, and controlling!! They cut you and blame it on you saying that you move too much. I said something and they still go on and on about how you move and it's your fault. Like seriously?!! Don't come here if you want to be cut and be bleeding. ALONG WITH THAT, they try and tell you what to get to make it easier for themselves. My final complaint is that they make fun of you and even if it's their language it's so obvious because they say something after you talk and laugh.

Avoid this place at all costs.

I'm rating 4 stars because I had a bad experience here. Did not know this at the time, but they have a customer relations person working here. Tina saw my bad yelp review, and within 24 hours was contacting me to find a resolution. I don't live in the area, and she worked around it to remedy the situation. I've never seen this kind of commitment from anywhere I've gone. For anything, not just a nail salon. So if you're in the area give this place a try!

I've been a client of Sue and Kathy for 2 years now. Sue does a great job! We have fun thinking of different designs. Kathy always makes my feet look and feel great! I recommend Vianna's often. I never feel rushed and the service is consistent. Thank you for another awesome design Sue!

Came back here for the first time a few days ago. They renovated the space and it is much cleaner, brighter, and overall classy. I went with a deluxe pedicure and full acrylic set for my birthday! However, the nail tech who worked on my manicure managed to cut me 3 times repeatedly on the same fingers. I gave him a picture as a reference and I pointed out the several crooked nails. He said he'll fix them and after continually asking and informing him that the nails were still crooked he attempted to correct my nails and still managed to leave them crooked. I gave up asking because I needed to leave soon and as he finished up the nails on the sides of each acrylic nail you can see the drill markings and rough edges. I was very disappointed and am not one to argue, the nail tech who worked on my pedicure managed to cut my toe as well. The next few days my hands would sting due to all of the cuts they left me with. I will not be coming back here again! Do not come for acrylic nails.

Make sure to take the key with you because when you check in, the staff gives you a bracelet in exchange for the key. Don't forget to wear this bracelet everywhere you go in the facility. It serves as the key to your main locker, and you also use it to pay for services and food. I highly recommend purchasing your admission ticket through Groupon because I was able to save about $10. Also, be sure to book any services you want a few days in advance. After checking in at the front desk, I stored all of my items in the locker room. You don't need to bring your wallet with you because, again, you pay for everything using your bracelet. I booked the Scrub Plus service, and it was amazing! It has been several days, and my skin is still very soft and supple. For this service, you will need to soak in the bath for about 30 minutes beforehand. After the scrub, I changed into the spa uniform provided and explored the facility. They offer a variety of sauna rooms, and my favorite was the Yellow Ocher Clay Room. I also ended up ordering tteokbokki and sikhye at the food court. The food is a little pricey, but it was delicious. Overall, I had an enjoyable birthday at Spa World. I will definitely be coming back!

Unless you're buying add-ons, the place is mostly saunas, one cold room, and the gender specific bath houses. We walked around the whole place but couldn't find the outside terrace area, even after consulting a map of the place. The ocher bead sauna was my fav. The fire room is unbearably hot. They don't allow shoes in the spa areas but I think they need to make an exception for that room. They have rugs all over the floor and layered ontop of each other in there and it still doesn't make a difference. I became stuck in there because the floor was so hot it was burning my feet. I was standing on a super thin towel I brought in with me. I had to call for my husband to bring me another towel so I could make a makeshift pathway to the door so I could get out. Consider yourself warned. It feels in there what I assume being on fire might feel like at its beginning stages. The food looked nice but some of it was wildly expensive. $8-9 for one coffee? $4-6 for a hot tea? Ehh, I passed. I enjoyed the bath house/locker room area. The showers were nice, lots of diff pools to chose from that each served different purposes, the wrap around mirrors, body lotion, hair dryers, etc... it was great! They even had attendants in there where you could buy items or services from them. I saw many girls buying face masks. It was very zen in there. I spent a solid amount of time in there getting ready bc I had a fancy dinner with my husband afterwards so I used all the space and amenities to get ready :) Oh forgot to mention - check Groupon. We got our tickets at a discounted rate. Front desk ppl were nice and explained things thoroughly and easily.

I was looking for a massage parlor that offered couples massages in our area and I booked at this…read morelocation because it had good reviews. However, after visiting the location I discovered they are masters of the "bait and switch" pricing scheme. When we arrived, May, took us to the couple's room. When I returned she advised me they offered three types of massages and that the AcuQi was the best one. The way it was presented made it seem like it was one of three types included in the package I already paid a deposit for. She then mentioned that hot stones could be added and when I asked how much she said $15 per person for one area. I agreed to pay the extra for the hot stone massage. When it was time to check out I was advised that we could save $10 if we left a 5-star review on Google before we left, hence the good ratings because they are giving you a $10 "discount". After I wrote the review, she advised me that we owed $160 minus the $10 for the review so we owed $150 on top of the $80 deposit we already paid. She said the AcuQi massage was $110 per person but as you can see from the screenshot it's listed as $90 per person on the website. The couples massage is listed as $130 but I was charged $160, as you can see from the screenshots. They also charge you a 3.95% fee for using a credit card but there is no fee if you use Venmo or Zelle. She never rung anything up on a cash register and gave me my total on a Post-it note. The fact that they are using Venmo and Zelle and not tracking their charges leads me to believe they are NOT paying their taxes or reporting their sales accurately. DO NOT use this place because they are dishonest. A potential client called while we were waiting and she pushed the AcuQi massage on her telling her it was the best they offered. I forgot to mention my massage was horrible! He used heavy pressure even after I asked him to lighten up.

After years of trying to find someone local who can really cut my hair, here he is…read more So glad I finally have someone who listens to me and what I'd like, but also isn't afraid to give good, honest advice as to why something I asked for may not work or be the ideal approach. I'm a repeat happy customer, and there to stay as long as he does. I'm an easy, realistic client and have never, ever been that jerk in the salon complaining that something isn't quite right, and fix it--again. So, it's always been a bummer to go in for a straightforward cut and explain to other hairdressers that I have really fine hair--but tons of it--and a stubborn cowlick--and that in 50 years on this planet (yeah, I said it!) I now have a pretty damned good idea what will work--or not--for me and my hair. (Example: I went twice to the latest, greatest and, I have to add, stupid-expensive salon and got one cut from the owner that was a total "the emperor has no clothes"-type letdown--plus there was a sustained and squirm-inducing push to buy products. It was the last straw. I cannot stand having add-on merchandise pressure when I'm already paying loads for other services. I kept quiet but voted with my feet and walked out of there--permanently. $175-300 for a cut and single color? Insane.) I went searching and found Duke here on Yelp, and a big thanks to those of you who also liked him enough to share that info--I almost hate to myself, because he's a hidden gem, but I want him to do well, too, so here I am. You're welcome, Katy. Duke: simply put, he's a one-man artist in a small space. Don't bother if you're high-maintenance and need a dramatic atmosphere. If, however, you want an honest approach and a really good cut and/or color, look no further. Duke is lovely, fun, very talented with hair, personable, unstuffy and guess what--he doesn't push products or services. And his prices are more than reasonable.
